Hi and welcome to SG ----- Glad to hear you're enjoying I&A (Invade and Annex) I enjoy playing from time-to-time strategical with a group of boys. Use teamspeak whenever, most members around the community start-up Teamspeak as soon as they boot up the computer, to either play with a few members, have a chat, or discuss issues / matters that need to be resolved with eachother. There's no set-times to be on and off from it, join whenever and go into any channel, members will either be in the channel or will eventually join depending on the time you're on. To work as part as a time for I&A - Join the Teamspeak find the allocated channels for I&A (You'll live in them if you play I&A all the time). Talk and use your comms correctly, calling out directions, bearings, areas etc.. If you're a pilot get to know and coordinate correctly with your pilots. The other channels have the same rules applied, get to know them have a few chats etc most importantly do have fun. The channels allocated for I&A are these (Be advised I have a custom skin for teamspeak, so your's wont look like this obviously.) If you're unable to find these channels, just hit CRTL + F and type in "Invade" and it should pop up for you. Over time you'll get to know people that play quite frequently and what not, you'll also make friends that's easy. I advise you to read up on the I&A rules (Here) so you don't get into trouble from any Mods / Admins on the server. If you ever need help, feel free to join Teamspeak, find the Help-desk channels and any support member (Green, Red ticks / Mods & Admins) will help you with whatever question you have. Hopefully everyone is happy and content, within my time as Admin I have looked at a lot of things, and made decisions about stuff that hopefully leave you all feeling like Altis Life is a great place to play. I want it to be a lot of things :- 1) Safe. No bullies. No stalkers. No crazies. Anyone can play and have fun and not get hassled. Profanity and Trolls in sidechat get kicked. 2) Worthwhile. Your Comps getting paid, people breaking rules are getting spoken too. Bans up on people who ruint he experience. Your gears safe. 3) The WOW Factor. Events, this is the events, and the surprise stuff we throw down, and the times we hang out, Salt Flats, fun stuff. 4) Community. You know me, I know you. I put a lot of time into building relationships and making sure I am available. You can get hold of me 9/10 times. So, to this end, I am announcing a Competition. If SG is for you, and you feel likes its all of the above then lets help it grow. The Player with the most Points at the end of 3 weeks will win $10 Million Dollars in game, and a Golden Ticket for them and a friend for all Paid Events in June. 1 POINT - Refer a friend to the Website, they Sign up and post a @Spectral or @Roger Purple saying "Referred to Website by - " and your Forum Name. Should be their first post. Roger will check its not a duplicate account. 1 POINT - Attract a new player to SG that then joins a Gang/Cartel. 1 POINT - A Screenshot or video of them RPing with people. Limit one Screenshot or Video per person, per week of the Competitiion. 3 POINTS - Attract a new player to Altis Life that you know, Friends List on Steam, IRL Friend, whatever. They need to PM me or Roger their Name so we can check they didn't just name change. 5 POINTS. - Attract a new player to ARMA 3 and Altis Life. They need to do the above, plus a link to Steam Profile so we can see their Arma Playtime. 5 POINTS - Attract a new player to ARMA 3, Altis Life, that then attends an Event with you. So lets go. My job is make it fun, safe, secure and grow the player base by doing both the prior, and also looking to you guys to say "Hey we spend so much time and have so much fun playing here, I bet XYZ from School/Work/Gym would have a blast as well." Too make SURE they have fun, I want all new recruited players, new to SG, Altis Life, or ARMA 3 that your recruit to tag at END of name [SRD], Straya Recruitment Drive. I will actively assist and intervene helping these guys, as will the wider staff. These must be new players, and should not be having a hard time on our servers. [SRD] Tags will tell the Cops, Staff, and other players "Hey this guy is new he is looking at our servers, we want him to have a decent time". Not to say they can break rules, or you cant rob them, but go a bit easy for me, ok? - Spec @Roger Purple @Zomboid @Ryan @Cpt. Duck @brutalforthepizza Please help make any [SRD] guys welcome and apply the rules in line with them being new. @Marc_R @Lachlan Can we get a message out to Help Desk that we are actively bringing in new players, and that maybe they will not know about the mechanics and ruleset initially.

Gday, Old guy,(so no friends who play arma) been playing single player arma for a while, new to multiplayer, enjoying invade and annex. So far Just being quiet and learning what I can . Would like to learn to work as part of a team. It happens for a while then i lose it I cant get my head around the different comms yet. Have teamspeak but dont know where or when to go with it. Any help much appreciated cheers shady

To the new players - I am looking for strong, dedicated and committed members for the Hells Angel cartel. PLEASE NOTE - I will not be accepting anyone who has been banned from our server at all. The Hells Angels will not be a conventional cartel. Details will be provided to those who are genuinely interested only. At this point in time I am looking for the following: 1 x Lawyer 1 x Recruiter 1 x Enforcer 1 x Warlord 10 x Street Soldiers What is expected of you: You must at all time operate in uniform. You must not engage in active combat with civilians or cops without permission from Myself. You must abide by our strict firearm code. You must agree to strict communication discipline whilst in channel. You must show due respect to all staff and commanding officers. What can be expected of the club: You can expect 2 fresh uniforms provided when you are first sworn in. You will be provided with 1 45. ACP and 10 clips. If you lose this. You will be expected to replace it and purchase the next round of VB for the entire club. You can expect respect from your colleagues. You can expect a say in all club decisions. Requirements: At least 150 hours of ARMA 3 playtime - negotiable At least 18 years of age - non-negotiable Never received a ban on this server - non-negotiable You must provide your own motorcycle - atv - non-negotiable The positions: Lawyer: You must be eloquent and be able to get your point across both quickly and effectively. You will be expected to produce Word / Google docs when required. You will have impeccable hygiene and represent the club in the best manner possible. Recruiter: You will be in charge of spread our brand. Recruiting the highest quality members possible. Your position will hold an incredible amount of trust and your judgement must not be swayed by the offer of bribes. Enforcer: The Enforcers job will be to uphold the by-laws and code of the Club. You will deal out punishment and discipline when necessary. Warlord: The Warlords job is to decide when, where and how we will combat our enemies. The warlord will follow strict guidelines as to how wars will be conducted and must be tactically minded. You will be in charge of a significant arsenal of arms and will be trusted to maintain the equipment at full working order. Street Soldiers: The back bone of any organisation or in this case club, are the street soldiers. You will be the runners, lookouts, muscle and intimidation factor. Our cause: We will be dedicated to providing a welcoming environment to all individuals. We are an open and transparent organisation that despite rumours, is 100% law abiding and above board. We conduct ourselves in a mannr that may seem intimidating at times however that is judging us by looks. Anyone is welcome at the club house. Lazy Saturday with the lads, solid EMS turn up as ever, thanks @CringerFinger and @Cake for all the Revives and leading teams through the day as far as getting to boxes and moving them around the Arena. I second what Cake said, was overall a great event and It was very enjoyable setting up the EMS station and RP'ing as a Lifesaver, good stuff and thanks to all who was involved.

Many thanks for the event Spectral, was honestly a blast even from just spectating the event. Huge shout-out to everyone, made 300k+ from all the revives and such. Thanks for supporting the Cake foundation.

We have recently had a look at the inactive gangs and have removed the inactive/disbanded gangs. We currently have no rebel channel and no cartels available. If you are interested in getting a gang you must put a roleplay story of your gang in the gang talks forum which will be linked here. Once posted the post will be reviewed then you will be notified that you can put you donation forward to complete the gang channel creation. Also on a side note any overdue gang channels will be followed up and if not paid will be removed.
