[SP] Voidy announced his retirement to Straya Gaming. Hey guys, I've had a couple people having troubles with getting stuck at loading into the server after joining a civilian slot. Step 1: Join a civilian slot - Wait to see if you get stuck at the loading screen Step 2: Press escape Step 3: Change civilian slot, the closest slot available Step 4: Try to rejoin - It should work.... If it does not work. Repeat Step 2 and Step 3. That should work. Kirk.

In my opinion public cops should not receive the vests, as once again it is an item which is earned. Sometimes higher ranks will loan a public cop a vest only if they are trustworthy or depending on the situation, i.e. similar to lethals. However though it also allows the public cop to learn how to effectively use cover and allows them to recognize when is the best time to peak. But also Public cops as stated by Tiggati wont be heading straight into a rebel onslaught or gang on gang war. That is what SRT, and other high ranks are there to do. I do however think that Cadets should have a vest, since it is a useful item for the first rank of whitelist. At most even a re-skin of the press vest would be cool.

yeah whitelisted engineer would be rad, since theyre always taken by guys in sniper gear. Limiting AI to 2 per group would fix the issue of someone taking all of them.

Yes and no.. Spectral has a good way of looking at it. If you want to be dedicated to the police force and go up ranks etc, then you should be rewarded for what you do. Giving vests out and having people give them away because they're cheaper is one reason why we don't allow these sort of things on a public slot. Same goes with medics. But the only thing I can think of, is to give them a civilian vest, like at the Sydney market and make it the same price globally. For medics, for cops and for civs/rebels To be honest, the public slots shouldn't really be going into anything dangerous like Bank or FED. They're there to learn the role play, the processing, 10-codes, lights and sirens and when to use them etc. They have to learn the basics before going into a battle. They're more there as crowd control and patrolling the streets, not go in the outskirts where there will be high rebel activity and run out with a taser gun that shoots 3 tasers at one time.
