So, what seems like age ago, but was like, 2 nights ago, I met @Mark Lyons He is a Champion bloke, and I have taken a but of an interest in him, and his time on the Server will be funded and helped out by the Staff. He deserves all our help, and will get it. Mark is a great guy, and he has a real fun time on the Server. We are best mates now. So he wanted me to put up some photos were we went fishing on Bonez Island. If you see him in the game, or TS, please be patient with my new mate. He has a heart of gold, and will always tell you the truth. Here is our fishing trip. PS Just be wary he is a bit of a Hoon and crashed into me and kllled me with a Jetski. Twice. RIP me. Lol. (OOC) It looks like someone is standing inside a certain HQ overlooking the PD in sydney. One that belongs to a certain civilian organisation. One that would probably consider it trespassing to be on those grounds without permission.

Can we get the rule for the following changed; Altis Life Rules - Bank Robberies - Rule #7 "Both Banks are KOS when robberies commences for only the robbers and Police. Civ’s that loiter or come into the Bank/Streets/Area may be killed without warning by either the Robbers or Police either in a crossfire or due to looting items or heading into the Bank area. This may happen without any warning. It is not RDM. Observe the Value your Life Rules. Civilians must stay 500 m away from fed or bank when they're being robbed or be considered hostile armed or unarmed." Can we have it so that the Federal Reserve has a KOS of 500m but Shorten the KOS zone of the Sydney bank to 300m as 500m goes out to the other side of Sydney market and has caused many people to come to Help-Desk during a bank (500m is way too much for in front of bank, Possibly make it a rectangle so that it covers bank road #1 & #2 and then it can be longer to cover castle etc. Can we also change the first sentence to state the 'Both Banks are KOS when robberies commence for only the Robbers, Police and the responding Cartel?

Had a think about this today; (altho I'm a noob with what's involved to put it all together, how the background site functions etc) 1. (Area) Havn't personally researched the locations and distance yet (you'll get the picture) but from memory My mind was thinking up Nth, bit of cliff around a castle isn't there? which I guess could be setup to replicate/include bunkers etc. As there's no battleships to carry us all to Gallipoli, then give support by hammering the cliff with their big guns, perhaps we Blue could base ourselves (also respawn) on the nth little island we sometimes frustratingly spawn too (can't remember its name), if there's equipment with enough canon punch to reach the mainland cliff (from the island), perhaps it could barrage the cliffs while troops approach across the sea in boats, then while ducking & diving behind stuff while making our way up the beach to the base of the cliff (or hill), doing what the ships would have. 2. I'm"Assuming" you're considering running it in the normal I&A server after a restart? Friday night (most nights) can be easily maxed out (60). Considering a special event, most aware will no doubt want to be apart of it. The I&A server will be chockers including casual blow-ins taking up slots (gung-ho for the 1st kill), while dedicated Straya die hards/donators etc that work/communicate together as a team will be disappointed when they discover if they'd only gotten home from work or finished dinner etc with their family 5min earlier they may have gotten a slot with their team. Rather than this Friday, would it be better to perhaps spend a bit more time planning, organising, marketing etc, setting it up on a separate server, perhaps only open to invitees/donators etc? I reckon we could pull 60 easy, our side squad would have ~15, leave the normal server for everyone else. 3. ("Assuming" we pull 60) AI troops can be pretty stupid, stand out in the open exposed etc, easily taken out most of the time, even by me as a medic... So rather than use AI as troops (perhaps use them as gunners etc) what about 30 vs 30 (3 groups of 10 each side (min 2 x medics each), one working center, other two working left & right flanks), Blue (Aussies) vs Red (Turks)? All troops load in with the same kit/equipment (depending their role) Another consideration, maybe a $5 entry fee (via paypal), 60 x $5 = $300, of which a nominated panel of say 3 or 5 could decide the top performing soldier, funniest etc, who would each receive Steam credits at certain values, can be spent on arma or whatever. Had more ideas but brains fragged now

Yeah, I am happy with the edits. But I agree with pope yuri in the fact that the KOS should be lowered to 300m for Sydney bank. As many a time people have used this for blatant RDM, where it is obvious that you are that far away from bank, where you shouldn't pose a threat.

Nope. It's up in the rules at the end, they play on, as they have. No need to cease, they are fine. Wont impact anyone's play at all. All of the hot fixed list is edited in and live, the Contractor rule set is at the very end if your reading the rules posting, was all posted in last night by the Admins.

It clearly states no bounty hunting or money paid, and the people playing it have done so with no issue for 5 months. It's working fine. Civilian Contractor is for RP focussed groups that are approved in the role only, and the rules on them to quell people wanting a PMC or Federal police or DEA in gunships, none of which really fits, and is not coming, at all. The hot fix is up and live, the edits in the rules post are done, and live, any issues arising will be tested and noted, adjusted as needed. So far all positive outcomes, and more freedom to play, tighter rules on Cops and Helicopters etc.

That's getting a look tonight, when's it over, a server message going out, I even thought about a post in a Bank/Fed thread? Bank started post, then a Bank Code 5 (over), timers start from cleaned up? To me it's over at Bank when all internals are down. Feds over when they are all down. What about a "Is it GG?" For Robbers to Cops/Cartel, not that, but a phrase or a post in the Banks on thread? I am thinking a lot, and we are looking at grey areas, annoying stuff, and adding in things to trial. Hostage at Bank, could work, could not but we will trial it, it's in the rules now, single robber can force someone in a car and RP with them. Exciting times.

The rule is not saying, you can KoS people, it really says, hey you may get killed in the gunfight. And stay way back.When I get on tonight I will measure out the 500 metres and look at it again. I will tweak it though, that's what the feedback is for. It was more for you can get hit by a stray round, and so far out to allow for people shooting from Apple/Vehicle/Construction. These enforcers have only recently been deployed due to the rising threat of Cartels attempt to silence the truth from the people. These men will ensure that no foreign body will sway the truth and will allow the News team to perform their day to day job unhindered.

You make accusations of Police/Phoenix being corrupt and you find that a more interesting story than the rebels that are rising around the country constantly attacking the bank and the federal reserve. I think you should note that many Civilians respect us for responding to these as the more they are robbed then the worse our economy becomes. In my interview I stated that we have money in the bank but remember that every civilian has money in that bank and that protecting your money is one of our major concerns. Also while you are talking about the police being corrupt you seem to have tried to hide the fact that your news team is as corrupt/more corrupt than any of your allegations. Mr. Dyet stated "they have Feare Family Enforcers watching their backs." To have enforcers watching your back is a big deal, especially seeing as their main job is "A enforcer is a member or associate of an organized crime or corrupt political organization that is responsible for handling those who do not go along with organization policies, rules and deals." So what I am seeing as a concerned civilian of this great nation is that the people who are "committed to bring us the truth" are actually bringing us the Lies that the Feare Family what us to know, so that we don't see what they are doing. I am calling a High commission on the legitimacy of the 'News Team' of Altis and I urge the Police Commissioner (@Spectral) and Assistant Commissioner (@Roger Purple) to launch an investigation into these people who have claimed themselves as the 'News team' Best Regards,
