I sometimes sit and think about you all, I might be driving or sitting in a train, or something. I need you to read and re-read what I am saying here. Don't take anything the wrong way. And it's not as weird as it may sound. A big part of me, it is Altis Life. It runs in my blood, every rock and building, bank, fed. Altis is my gal, sure she is a bit banged up, a few things are busted. But I am still crazy about her. I don't like it when people mistreat her, or talk her down, or try to hurt her. It gets me a bit.....upset. I don't "own" her, that's not what I mean. I just care. And I know all of you. Your likes, dislikes, the gang your in, the gang you were in before that, and the one before THAT, the worst thing you have done on the server, and the best. Your my guys, and even if your naughty, you break the rules...I still care. I am never "angry", or "hate you." If you dissapointed me, I will get over it. If you hate me, for whatever reason and want to tell anyone that will listen I am a jerk, well, that's up to you. Maybe I have to ban you. I don't like doing that. But I will. Ever since @LuckyB33f put Altis Life Admin on me I have worked. Hard. 30-40 hours a week is about average, more if it's in crisis. And I love it. I really do. I promise him I would treat her nice, and not disrespect her. Then I asked, and got Zeus. And oh MY we have had some fun. There are people I have put time into that have grown, as men, as staff, as leaders. I like that. Always back yourself, I see that in you all. One guy I had to kick off my SRT team, just, so angry, and I couldnt reach him, and he hated me, I knew he did, but I had to tell him "No.". Having hard conversations is hard, but the easy path is not one I like to take. And now? Well we talk every day. He is a different guy. None of this is me claiming their wins, it's just talking out loud. If you want to do something and I can help, come talk to me. If you need something to make something, come talk to me. I am happiest in a room full of excited Altians. I have heaps of them that at one point they disliked me. Now, we all talk all the time. Some are Cops. Sometimes you guys frustrate me. I am working on that, but given I usually have 20 people who need 5 minutes of time, and 6 TS chats open I am planning to make some "me" time, to play. I miss my Cop playtime. It's important to me, I haven't played in a week as I write this. So if I seem a bit vague or snappy, my bad. Cop is frustrating as well, trolls, criminals, meta gamers. I still love it. And my Cops need me. I am also very, very used to an accountable and professional workspace IRL. People do what they say they will. I thrive on that, and being challenged in a role, and being able to steer a project. Micro managing kills me. I have always liked people. I understand them. I can take someone that's screaming and make them....calm. I can have them pumped up to wage wars, or do anything. I have all the time in the world. If you live on Altis, Hi, I am Spectral. I am the Altis Life Admin. Together with Zomboid, we will be moving forward with rule tweaking, new bank post to tell you timers, requests on RP setups. Big thanks to Roger for being beside me. He and I will always be mates. Do I want to go Global? Big question, because I don't know. And noones asked. It's human nature to want to be told your doing well and you don't get that feedback here much. Players are more likely to say they are upset. My Boss IRL knows I thrive on that shit. And challenges. Goals. Anyway, that's all I have for now. If you love me, right back at you. If you hate me, well either I need to work harder or stop caring. Or you need to get over it. Pointless drama and power struggles..? Boring. Because none of it means anything. Plus I work with 90 guys who all want my job IRL. . Some people here I think, just don't like me because of the amount of people that DO. True story. Anyhow, that's all. I am Spectral, Spec, The Commish, and you can count on me. We have been through a lot together Spectral on this fine server. It hasn't always been easy and we have had our issues here and there, but in the end we have all come together to make something great, even better. We are going in the right direction and personally I don't want you to move on from Altis life at all. [Sorry I'm selfish] That being said, at the end of the day most people on this server that play daily know that Straya gaming is like a second home and we all love it. We all want to see the server go in the right direction, and there have been many many changes recently that I believe are pushing us forward more then ever. Anyways I don't want to blubber on. Also, the FOB system means that a bunch (5+) of AOs spawn fairly close to eachother or in the same quadrant of the map so you shouldn't have to drive for too long between AOs unless the FOB changes. As Nova said, we can't have too many tanks in each AO as there won't be anything left for the infantry to do.

Hey transporting tanks is something we looked at but just isn't a possibility because we are restricted to scripts. Increasing slots is gonna cause more lag. As you might know during a defend full server it's already pretty laggy. For the tanks spawning. When there's 3-5 armored vehicles in the ao there's not much for infantry to do. Hence why there are not many armored vehicles at base. We could do Zeus missions for tanks if you wanted to

I have something to say.. i used to be a annoying imature kid, that time when i was invited to SRT i had a chat with spectral and he turned me into another person now i never get angry at anybody if you wanna abuse me or haras me i will be the bigger man and not say anything back to hurt you, that is the person that spectral turned me into a good person.

That freestyle was pretty whack, best believe when your in that strider your gonna get jacked,I don't even need a beat, I'll let the knockdown rounds fly and knock the pirates of their feet! You can't rome the streets you can't beat that uprise count is a 3 nil defeat, now y'all can take it to another level and get vengeful but take my advice son don't buy it make it a rental, coz when that IED is placed salt laced it will leave you with a bad taste, your bank account will be drier than the salt lakes. Now I know you will say that we got the fed and the bank but let's not go there coz we both know that meme is dank, 4 pub slots and 4 low rank cops surrounded by TWS scopes and snipers on the rocks are slim pickings but when that SRT button is pressed we know who gets the licking and who does the butt kickin! *drops the mic* @Fish

Hey Gang, I brought this up to Quicksilver the other day & thought I'd drop it in here to see what you thought. First up I thought it would be good to have a whitelist slot for engineers. Secondly, I suggested that we have AI & Maybe a Tank "Kuma!!" for the whitelist guys. At the moment when the server gets full, we have one guy taking all the AI from base for his own personal little squad, leaving none for the rest of the guys. I feel that if all/some of the AI & some of the better vehicles were restricted to whitelist it would encourage some players to donate a bit to access them. We have had this on a few of the servers I have been on in the past & it seemed to work well. Thanks for reading

G'day Everyone, Everyone might no my from the police force, as Deputy Commissioner Roger Purple But i have chosen to step down from Deputy Commissioner to Superintendent, this is because fresh blood is needed, inside the police force, i have given my rank to know Deputy Commissioner Bonez, he will lead and prevail the police force to greater heights, i love the police force, and its where i started in this community, but as the police force grows, so does the ranks, Bonez has put dedication and effort in alot more then i have, and its time he got rewarded for this, @Bonez @Spectral @CptKirk i am not leaving the police force i am simply stepping down 1 rank. Hey everyone, I thought I'd add to your topic from own experiences recently regarding MBT's and armour in general. I usually am a pilot and enjoy it so much that if I don't get a slot when I join, I just won't play on the server... BUT this week I thought heck, lets be an Engie and get in a tank. I fire up the M2A4 and ask anyone if they would like to gun, no reply in side chat. I ask the guys in TS3 if they would like to gun, "we're good". SO I take off on my own and rack up a few kills and get blown off the mountain top. Respawn and there is the MBT waiting for me. The AO is on the West coast and so I drive 12 clicks again only to arrive 2 clicks short as the AO is complete and the new AO respawns now in the far NE corner. So I drive 20 clicks and let me tell ya, averaging 50km it takes 15 minutes plus to get where I think is a good spot, only to arrive with the radio tower down, all enemy vehicles destroyed and a few EI in small groups. SO i gun down a few baddies with the 12.7 and the AO is complete. Now the AO is close to our base and at this point I'm thinking, man this is getting tedious, wish we could transport a MBT with the Huron or Blackfish. So I respawn not wanting to drive all the way back, run out to the parking lot and guess what... no armour to be found, the lot is empty. Now keep in mind I was not the only one chasing the AO's around in vehicles. There were other players in Marshals and even one guy with a drone and ammo crate on the back driving long distances. The points I make are, you don't always know why a player is in the tank by himself, chasing AO's in slow vehicles is not fun and there should be a way to transport a heavy MBT for we can transport everything else, so why restrict heavies and yes, adding another MBT to the mix would be a great addition... I'm sure it would not sit in the parking lot too long when the server is busy. Would the demand for MBT's to be transported be more of a necessity if they don't respawn if they are abandoned but only respawn if they are destroyed by the enemy? Another idea... is it possible to have an increase of MBT's added to the side mission gifts when completed successfully? And finally, would increasing the slots from 60 to 65 make an impact on the server?

So i'm starting up a Straya Gaming series called Day in the Life or DITL for short, to kick it all off we have a Day in the Life of a rebel, just a teaser to get you guys hyped and give you a taste of whats in the future. Should me and maybe @TH3GamingBanana create a ice cream shop for the customers of Sydney. We currently had one active and it was a big hit with costumers piling up but, the suicide bombings weren't the best thing (roger) as the police closed us down but do you guys think if we could get permission from the cops and not have as much chaos round it would be a good idea. If we did we would have to get some more employees which if you would like to become one just pm me on ts or in game.

sadly @denis i would do it today but i wont be able to play for 8 hours straight selling house today but i will try to get @TH3GamingBanana to do it some time sunday or late tonight

Regardless if youre a noob or seasoned player if you see a red triangle and you insist on approaching it then die dont punish the player its not his or her fault you didnt adhere to the warning sign...If you didnt know what it ment then still dont be a douche and punish its called learning dont go near them again. Im personnely tired of being punished from players that insist on walking over them or near them and why is the punish / kill set at one WTF is that. Thanks Unit for putting up a much needed poll lets hope that its not a waste of time and head admins do fix this issue.
