Time for a third instalment of the wasteland carnage series. This video featuring kills made while operating the A-10 Warthog over a period of about 1-3 hours. Using the first jet, I racked up 91 kills and had only taken 1 rocket. but how did i die? not by player, but by the server crashing temporally. Using the second jet, i increased the kills slightly to 132, when i get killed by my own bombs. My advice for the plebs out there that are salty after being killed from the sky: : Capture the airfield - Ram jets when coming into land : Utilise AA launchers - acquired by killing other players, gun-stores or missions. Howdy, So I have been toying with this idea for a long time and I think with the growth in the Community and the real upswing in the Events, both mine and the player hosted ones ( Bananas Ice Creams was awesome ) we are ready for the next step in a plan I wrote months ago. SLEEPERS What are they? - A Sleeper is a Player that has applied and been approved as a Sleeper. They are someone with great, unselfish RP that adds to anything they get involved in. What do they do? - A Sleeper is someone trusted to act inside an event a certain way, either in one I am running but MUCH more likely a player one. Example - Banana is running his Ice Cream Parlour. He requests a Sleeper. One speaks with Admins, lays out what they will do, and then goes. "I am a Sleeper, I will turn up and have a mild allergy to the Gelato I buy. EMS will be called. I will then try to sue Banana in RP for not saying it contained XYZ. I will settle out of court for Free Icecream Sundaes for like, not money. The RP will be focussed on Banana having fun, me having fun and the EMS having fun." APPROVED. Goes ahead. Banana knows nothing till it happens. RP of high calibre ensues, nudged by Sleeper(s). How do I become a Sleeper? - Expressions of interest to myself and Zomboid in a PM. The identity of Sleepers will be a closely guarded secret. Some will be requested, others will be slipped into the mix by Zomboid and myself. There will be Sleeper Challenges. It will be a great time. (Disclaimer - you may get shot) Gear? - Money and Gear may be provided based on the Events, you will be Comped on the spot if you lose anything, and if RDM etc. You will not lose a thing by doing this, and will likely have a great time. Thats the basics. The rest will be laid out to the applicants, along with a in the field test. If it all goes to plan the role of Sleeper will be written into the ruleset, and it will likley be handed out to someone else to run and Zomboid and I will oversee it. Sign up if your keen!. Ever wanted to show a fancy squad patch on your vehicle or gear at all times? Want to represent a group without changing your profile name constantly? This is what the Squad.xml is for. Where once this was complicated, it has been made simple by the awesome Arma community with hosters like https://armasquads.com/. This will take you 5 minutes. Don't get scared, this is dumbshit easy. Visit https://armasquads.com/ and register an account Go to menu -> squads Create a squad. The TAG is what shows up at the end of your name. Ex, "Kalthramis[AI]" Upload an image. It must be any multiple of 16, ex 16x16 or 32x32. For the best quality, just use the largest size; 256x256. Return to the squad page, and click "members" -> "add new members" Go into Arma's main menu, config, profile. Copy your playerID. Paste this ID into the correct line for "add new members." Fill out the rest of the information as you see fit. When you are finished, return to the squad page, copy the large URL for the squad. Return to Arma's profile in-game. Paste the large url into the appropriate line. Ta da! Any online server will now utilize your squad TAG and image. Be aware that everyone can see this, so if you use something appropriate, it could get you banned from the server - or worse, BattleEye banned if you are reported to Bohemia. Have fun!

Arms, Food and Uniforms will be deployed from LZ, Chopper will insert you close by, and you will rally to the Comms Tower, and then assess damage, and provide overwatch for repairs. it can be wierd in that sometimes the arma squad can add a half space at the end of your name so try pressing backspace on the name in the arma squad members section and see if that fixes the problem.
