Came up with an idea for a server event while messing around with Zeus. turns out you can drive a Strider up onto it and sit on top of it. this Friday 7:00pm AEST come on and try be the king of the sub. join the server event infantry channel after restart so we can get started in order to hold the hill you must drive onto the sub with a strider and push the other players striders off @Fitz @Rogmantosh @Tracuer @Ora209

Anyway, this topic is here introducing myself to the StrayaGaming community. I used to play on the Wasteland server some 3 months ago, but that's stopped now. I recently got pretty into I&A and have been enjoying it since. I even decided to get myself known in the TeamSpeak community that you guys own. To those who don't know me, Hi, my name is KennyBoo and I am the Team Manager of the former Civilian Contractor group - AInc. Having AInc being disbanded a few months back and coming back to visit my home town Altis, I have noticed that the streets are no longer safe. The increasing use of drugs on the street are tearing families apart, rebel gangs roaming altis and preying on vulnerable honest workers and the government - corrupted as ever before. Now, I have to be honest here, starting up AInc again is not going to be an easy task, we do not have the manpower that we use to possess. However, it saddens me to see that Altis has become what it is. So, if there is a strong enough demand for a safe, fair, and clean Altis again, together with the support of you - Altians, AInc might be returning to Altis, to stop the rebel s***s and to once again be recognized as an organised, well- disciplined and well-respected group.

Well... Out Of Character here, AINC caused me a lot of grief but the radio drama that went along with them was priceless and really boosted ratings.

The narrative and roleplay you brought into the server was a unique and somewhat intriguing one. I for one, would LOVE to see Ainc back into the Altis Life community. Here's a few things that have changed/are changing. Marc_R is now the commissioner of the police force. There are LOTS of new Moderators and Support Staff being moved in/up to higher roles. The way the police force operates is beginning to change drastically, we are branching out further then ever before, we are stepping up patrols in Melbourne, Brisbane and sydney. In MY opinion, some of the new changes that have come to the police force mean it's MUCH more organised, we have a great team of active Inspectors/chief inspectors that are keeping the lower ranks in line, and a great team of Sergeants/Senior Sergeants that are keeping everyone trained. One of the reason you might have seen the heightened rebel activity on the streets is due to the fact that the police are currently in a "Transitional" period. We are still implementing lots of new systems and methods, along with a whole new set of 10-codes that are Assignment based. Each police unit is going to be assigned a task, they will report on the progress of that task, when the task is complete and how it went. This new method from what I have observed, avoids communication clutter, avoids pointless deaths and improves "Morale", having a SET TASK that you are to perform. The Ranking officer online assigns these tasks to each unit. (General Duties is still an assigned task). Well there's my little paragraph on how the cops have changed. How has AINC Changed? what are your numbers like now, what are your goals, objectives and what is your roleplay narrative. These are things I'd be curious to know, either way I'd like to see ANIC return. - Nclem.

I got trend micro to give this site the tick that the have next to sites that are safe. It used to have a question mark (meaning not sure) I put a request in for a tick (meaning it's safe) and they have! So any trend micro users that have the web extension will se that SG is safe! ?

We don't have cattle herding in but we have a working hunting zone on the map that you can kill and harvest animals for leather and meat that you can cook and sell. As for the hospitals they are all fully kitted out with meds on the tables, beds and a surgery room.

i have used a sandstorm beside a ammo truck on stratis before and i killed 103 people in less then 30 mins, the range and damage they do is broken

The reason they're not in there is the exact reason we put the mortars up to 200k (now down to 100k). Tanks that use long-range MLRS systems are incredibly overpowered on a small island such as Stratis, and could cause devastation to the opposing team if you program the artillery computer to strike the right area. On all of those vehicles, from the artillery computer, you are able to strike the entire island from one place (and way beyond, for that matter.) Park it next to an ammo truck and you've got the full set. Another thing to factor in is the size of the rounds. 230mm of freedom (sandstorm) is what you'd see taking down whole building blocks - to put that into perspective, the mortar uses 82mm rounds. If they were implemented, I'd estimate the price to be upwards of 200k, and/or perhaps disabling the artillery computer.

I think the prison should be made harder to break someone out of with a heli. Maybe there should be some obstacles in the prison to make it harder to land or the prison could be relocated so that on duty cops can respond to a escape or something.
