4 pointsHello fellow community members, At times like these, I have seen many a man feeling down, be it a LOT of people in high positions (Altis Police Force) deciding to leave the community or those who are so down about the current state of the altis life servers that they aren't willing to get on and play. These times are what we call "down moments" (duh), and every community goes through them. A few issues are going to have to be addressed in regards to the current state of the Altis Life Server and the fact that we have two running, causing a divide between the two servers. I personally have had a meeting with the other Development Team Leader, @envy , and other members of the community and the common agreement is this. Shut down either the old server or the rebuild, and move on from there. We need to stand strong as a community and not be a lamb, seeing others leave and deciding to do it themselves. Because communities survive through their 'down moments' as long as they have strong members backing them. I have heard that many people have had a discussion about this, however, nobody has stood up and said something about it, if people don't like that I am standing up and saying this then fine, contact me and we can sort it out but until then let me say this. We need to discuss this openly if our community is to resolve our issues with the Altis Life server because if we stay quiet... We are going to keep losing members until it is too late. This Altis Life Rebuild could either be the beginning of the end, or the beginning of a new era for Strayagaming and I hope that it is the latter and that you will all stand behind the community to ensure it is the beginning of a new milestone for SG. 2 pointsCant you just get up a normal altis life server with no chances but very little ones that wont take days/weeks to do and put that out then start working on it as the server is up maybe a new mission file very week or so, I also heard everything has to go through higher ups with the devs? They are devs no need to restrict them. I could be wrong though.

1 pointSo i was just playing a bit of cop on altis life when this storm rolled up on us and within 5 minutes our garage was in 3 inches of water. haha I don't know just thought I would make a topic about this. hehe.

1 pointfirst off i want to say i love this place, i love the people, i love the staff and i love everything about strayagaming this place has been like a second family to me, yes theirs been ups and downs along the way but you'll never find a better community then strayagaming, a community that cares more about its players then itself, staff that are always their to help you, developers always listening to feedback given, over my many years i'v never found a better community then straya and i think i never will find a better one, you'll never find the most dedicated people, most dedicated gangs like the police force!, SP, Ainc and NTR, these 4 groups have shown great role play throughout my time being here and i hope they continue this reputation. from the day i became a green tick to the last day of being admin i'v always loved helping people no matter what the issue was, so with that note i love all you people that play strayagaming and continue making this community great! Goodbye my friends, love you all! ( no homo <3 ) For the ones interested in why i have left, well to continue into my apprenticeship in the upcoming 6 months i have to plan to run a restaurant for 2-4 days/nights this includes rosters, food, budget, what food, who is coming and a menu, after that i may come back or enlist in the navy as a chef or see where i go. ( haha on a boat full of seamen ) other then that i might be on here and there feel free to send me a msg if you ever want to have a talk or something, but goodbye my friends!

1 pointA 4th Option Start a fresh NEW ALTIS LIFE build. Get the 4.4r3 (4.5) framework fresh. Port over crafting, Quickly do up the shops. Then we have a playable game for ALL fractions New update every 3 days. Why? Fresh means nearly no bugs Fresh means we can run constant polls to decide what happens Fresh means that we get what we need and don't have anything removed from Tanoa We can work on things while having a playable game We can see and all contribute to the progress Straya makes with it's new server Possibly even a public Github mission file for everyone to work together on.

1 point4 months is how long ago you posted this Unit and Development team cant remove the punish option from the game ? If it was Altis Life I bet there would be a quicker response...Just saying tell me if Im wrong. Remove punish option altogether then dev team can fix it when they have time then re-install it when its fixed how hard is that but dont leave it the way it is with noone doing shit about it. July 11th you posted 85% want it removed.

We are also aware that there is another rebel spawn point that points to the ocean, this was kept in because we are constructing a new rebel outpost closer to another location that you will all appreciate. 1 pointSounds like it'd be pretty complicated to implement and not worth it for something, I think, not many people would be interested in. I also don't see the point of having AI do some or all of the work. Don't players play the game so they can be the ones killing CSAT? Who wants to watch someone else/AI do it for them? For example, how would an AT soldier feel if a friendly AI was destroying enemy vehicles attacking his squad before he could?

1 pointYeah guys I wouldn'tget your hopes up just yet, there are heaps of issues and problems with having it up, for one it could mean taking the existing I&A down which would split the community cause not everyone has the dlc, and if its gonna be on anothrr server entirely again it would split the community. Although I think it would be great to have a tanoa. As it would expand the I&A community.

1 pointIn my opinion this might be a useful mod that would allow more use of the Taru. There are lots of pods already placed around the base that are supposed to attach the Taru helicopter but by default you can only hook them. This mod allows you to actually pull the pods up to the helicopter and then attach them like they usually are by default when you spawn it in. 1 pointWe're working on getting some skins for Jets, Helis and Tanks. Should see them in the next 2 - 3 weeks. Currently, the Kuma has NATO camo, that's the only way it can be marked friendly for now. Obviously it doesn't make a difference if whoever is shooting is using thermals though.

1 pointI would increase the number of punish hits. My kit is based on landmines so I'm not just placing them at the stores, but all over the map. I've been hit with a punish every now and again either by new players who don't know or trolls who do it intentionally and let me say, IT SUCKS. Especially when mining a hot-spot like Rogain, where there are always players running in circles, one of them (look'in at you Unit :3) is bound to run over ALL of your mines. 2 days ago I placed 20+ mines around Rogain and nearly all were detonated by friendlies which left me in a rush out of cover into sniper fire to revive idiots who might punish me if I left them. Its good fun when you stop a base from being taken just by having an effective minefield but I'd rather not be running to a dead, tunnel-visioned, blind to a GIANT-RED-TRIANGLE Noob before they expire and hit the punish button. Removing the punish option gets a yes, but I think increasing the number of hits would be better as trolls still need to be stopped. I've had my kit stolen by players (via punish) who have placed mines to intentionally kill friendlies afterwards. So if it can still be used to troll and if people catch on to it, they will.

1 pointhey stryker we have considered adding in HALO jump but decided against it. reason being it defeats the purpose of the pilots besides them being there for cas. if everyone is dropping into the ao really close theres no working towards the hq or radio tower, if you can just jump onto it and place satchels. it pretty much reduces the teamwork required to complete an ao. also adding more units in compensation would increase lag and decrease server performance
