Evening All, As you may have noticed over the past couple of months, we have received a lot of donations. We are extremely grateful for this and cannot begin to thank you all enough. We are now well on our way to fulfilling one of our dreams - purchasing our very own physical server! This is where we need your help. We are looking to raise a further $2000 towards this goal by June 30th. All donations will count towards this goal. The server we are looking at purchasing will house a single Xeon E-2288G, an 8C/16T processor running at 3.7GHz (Boost to 5.0GHz). This processor is significantly faster than the 7700k’s that it will be replacing. As such, we should see greater performance for existing services and may allow additional room for expansion and community servers. Once we have purchased the new server we can drop 2 of our existing monthly dedicated servers, reducing our monthly running costs significantly. The money saved from dropped servers will be reinvested into the community over time. All members who contribute to this donation goal will receive a Special Edition IAward on the forums. If the goal of $2000 is reached by June 30th, all contributors will also receive a commemorative Discord rank. Police Convoy - AL Event An Armed Police and Medic Convoy will be travelling between Sydney Police Station and Darwin Police Outpost carrying confiscated items, weapons and medical supplies for resupply and destruction. For each Truck that is successfully intercepted and driven to a Rebel Outpost, the group responsible will receive the items within! The Key Details Date: Saturday 30th of May Time: From 7:30pm AEST Where: Throughout Altis - All Parties are recommended to join TeamSpeak throughout the event Rules A KOS Zone will be in place within 1.5km of the Convoy or any Convoy Trucks No NLR - You may continue to return to the Convoy or after any of the Convoy Trucks until the event has concluded The Convoy will proceed along the main highway to Darwin and will only divert if forward scouts detect an ambush along the road. In such case, cops must make every effort to return to the Main Road after passing the ambush Spike Strips may not be used on the Convoy Trucks Should a vehicle be blown up or destroyed, Senior Staff may choose to replace it 13.2 will not apply for the duration of the event Rewards Each Truck in the convoy will have a theme from below: Weapons (The Equivalent of 2x BMD Missions containing only T4s and T5s) Gold and other Rare Illegal Items Medical Supplies Thanks to Jay and other members of the community for coming up with the event proposal!
