  1. Antistasi is back!
    Antistasi has returned to StrayaGaming, with us fighting the Americans this time round. The server is going live at 6:00 pm AEST, whitelisting will be enforced.

    In the mean time please familiarise yourself with the ruleset of the server:

    1. Intentional teamkilling is not allowed
        a. Includes the destruction of team assets
    2. Intentional killing of civilians is not allowed (Although accidents do happen)
    3. Selling of users vehicles without the owners consent is prohibited
    4. Any "Kill the traitor" missions must be attempted with at least 5 players
    5. If you are being followed by hostiles, do not bring them back to base
    6. When playing you must be in the TaskForceRadio channel in order to communicate
    7. Any cheating/exploiting will result in an indefinite ban (Added 23/09/2019)
    8. Community Guidelines must be followed at all times

  2. Antistasi Update 1.4.1 AX

    Several of the reported bugs have been fixed, thanks to those providing the nessecary feedback to allow me to do so!

    +Added - M113's and UH-60's to the USMC motor pool

    =Fixed - ZU-23 AA static now spawns properly
    =Fixed - Offroad AT and HMG variants now spawn without issue
    =Fixed - Civilian helicopters going overt when going within 50m of roads

    +Added - Conquest mission functionality (Can now use to attack Bases and Outposts)
    +Added - More buyable vehicles and statics (Civ and Military)
    +Added - Different selection of Boats (Jetski, Dinghy/Assault boat, Motorboat and the RHIB)
    +Added - Civilian Quadbikes

    =Modified - Mission spawn distance increased to 10km (Except Conquest missions - fixed 4km)
    =Modified - Vehicle buy menus
    =Modified - AI infantry costs ($400 units are now $250 ish)
    =Modified - Vehicle costs (M-900  ->  $4500, Mi-8 -> $6000)
    =Modified - Made some code optimisations
    =Modified - AI spawn mechanics for reinforcements (Shouldnt throw exceptions anymore)

    -Removed - Purchasable Mortars (temp)

    ?Planned - Implementation of a MySQL based whitelisting system

    +Added - Clientside view distance control (Press Ctrl + Home to configure it ingame)
    =Modified - AI combat skill reduced a tad (Should stop them from having a 95% headshot accuracy from within 200m)
    =Modified - Created workaround for the Critical Error bug. Game will save now regardless

  5. Antistasi is back!
     

    This time round its going to be different - You're going to be pitted against the US Armed Forces.
    Be prepared for a difficult campaign to win over towns and eventually Altis!

    The modlist remains the same as before (Listed on the first post of this thread) and the whitelist policy will also remain (Those previously whitelisted will have the password given out to all of you). I have also modified the rules to encourage more teamplay overall this time round. The server will go live at 7:30 pm AEST tonight.

    Rules:

    Operation Pyrrhic Victory: The Finale

    The third and final operation in the Velvet Thunder Server vs Server event series is here! This round is the finals where Wasteland and Altis Life will be pitted against each other in a 16 vs 16 Team Deathmatch on Malden to compete for the the honor of the servers they represent!

    To win, a team must win 4 out of 6 rounds. Each round lasts for 5 minutes with an extra 2 minutes Overtime. Rounds are won through either eliminating the enemy team or having a player majority over the enemy team at the end of Overtime - Only one team will prevail.

     

    Player Information:

    As of current, weapons and kits will be standardised to ensure fair play with a standard calibre of 6.5mm, with a single 7.62mm Marksman loadout per team. There will be no arsenal availability in this final round. Players will have stamina disabled and will only have one life, so play wisely. Each team must consist of a maximum of 16 members.

    Players who wish to participate in the event should send an expression of interest to @Joshua_ or @Nunny ASAP. All current Team Commanders will be chosen by their relevant server managers within the next week.

    The event will take place on Sunday the 9th of June at 7pm AEST. All participants will be required to be in the Community Events channel on TeamSpeak (ts.straya.life) 20 minutes prior to the start of the event for a briefing on the rules of play.

    Server Commanders and participating players are encouraged to join the StrayaGaming Events Discord for ease of communication and planning in the lead-up to the event. This thread will be updated with any further information as the event draws closer.

  7. Whats the point of this thread exactly?

    Seems like it was just made to start a fight between players and staff. If you are unhappy about something on a server, write it up in a way that isn't as blunt and arrogant. Take the time to point out your problem clearly and what can be done to fix it instead of doing what your doing now or actually speak to a wasteland staff member about your issue.

  8. StrayaGaming Antistasi

    One of our most successful popup servers is back - Arma 3 Antistasi.

    Fight as guerrillas against a conventional military force, and seize control over Altis. Antistasi is a persistent mission with many degrees of freedom for players to achieve their overall goal, no game is the same. This mission is modded, and will require several base mods for you to be able to join, plus extras if you want them (See Mods).

    Antistasi will be releasing tomorrow (10/4/19) at 6pm AEST. An important note is that this will be Whitelisted. If you are interested and want to join, contact either Myself, @pkisbest or @leeseven.

    This is one of many popup servers that will appear within the next 6 months, with Liberation coming later in the year. If anyone has some requests for new missions to play, feel free to suggest them.

    May I add that the majority of those donations originated from Invade and Annex, which keep your server up and running. So naturally (idk what they actually do with it tho) that excess money should go into Invade and Annex, the server that those players donated for...
