    Welcome fellow engineers, We are proud to announce the latest edition of our modded space engineers server! During our downtime, we successfully completed a full rework of the server to provide our players with a more stable and enjoyable experience. You can connect to the newly updated server via se.straya.life or by searching "straya" in your server browser. Effective from the time of this post, we will be running a fresh custom map with the following core changes: Added: Rival AI (Custom NPC Behavior) Air Traffic (NPC's Ships) Armour Ramp Compendium (Building Blocks) No Edges (Building Blocks) Modern Arms Weapon Kit [MAWK] (Hand Held Weapons) HangarMarket (Quantum Hangar - Player ship/grid Buy & Sell) Modified: More NPC Encounters V6 (upgraded from V5) Transporter (1.194) (replaced with working edition) Removed: Reavers Atlas Superlaser Cloaking Device MA Designator Turret NPC Programming Extender Automatic Ore Pickup Radio Detection and Ranging (Radar) You can view our complete mod collection here.     Hello Engineers! While StrayaGaming staff have a wide selection of ways to test our players skills in events, we are always open to suggestions and feedback from the community so we can keep our events relevant, fresh and fun. If you have an idea then this is the place to put it into words so staff can see the vision and potentially recreate it in-game. Suggestion Criteria Be as descript as possible so staff can understand and visualise the event. Sever settings will not be altered for the event (adding a mod just for the event is highly unlikely). Link any relevant blueprint that would be needed for your event. Have a clear and fair set of rules, with winning conditions that wont prologue the event past 90 minutes. Suggest a reward for the event that is enticing but not game breaking. We look forward to hearing your suggestions and encourage others to give feedback on the events players put forward.     Hello Engineers! It's finally here! StrayaGaming is pleased to announce the release of our revamped Modded server. This server has a very custom planetary system along with a handful of exciting new mods. All grids have been saved and will be ready for you to load in from the garage. Loading your grids During the transition, all players grids have been saved into their garage, spawn them into the new server using the !g commands. ( !g list, !g load ) Please note this is a one-way transfer, you cannot store grids into this garage. Server Info We are taking this rare opportunity to really spice things up for our players, adding additional Mods and carefully selecting some exciting new planets. Along with this we will be looking at the current rules and adjusting them to suit the direction we want the server to go with PVP and PVE.     Good Day Everyone, We have an exciting new update for our Space Engineers Modded server, with the introduction of 5 new Mods to spice up your gameplay! Below is a list of each Mod being added and a quick overview on their purpose. They will be present in the Steam Mod Collection for ease of access; found here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1853579385 Gauge's Grid Garage - Grid Garage was created to be a multiplayer tool to reduce performance load. Players can store unused grids and replace them any time. Any number of grids can be stored. Stored grids do not count towards PCU limits. If the storage block is destroyed all stored grids are lost. Found at: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1893742731 *Removed for time being* Cloaking Device (Updated) - Fire this baby up and your grid will completely disappear from view, assuming you have enough power to feed it! Whilst cloaked your guns won't work, although all other ship systems should be fine. Your guns will need to be switched back on manually (or use a PB) once you completely decloak. Cloaking and decloaking are processes that take a couple of seconds to complete. When cloaking or decloaking is complete, you cannot reverse the effect for another five seconds. Charges over time to hold up to 3 jump charges. Each charge takes 6 minutes to complete. Jump distance is fixed at 1000m for large grids and 500m for small grids. Jump avoidance options can be set allowing players to jump in atmosphere. It consists of 2 modes: Passive Mode - This mode will detect grids within its broadcast range, updating every 5 seconds. You are broadcasting your location to others within your set broadcast range. Active Mode - This mode does NOT do anything until you hit the 'Scan' button in the control panel of the block. By default, a 60 second delay will start and during this time you are broadcasting your position (like a beacon), to others within your set broadcast range. The radar color will be purple during this delay. After the delay is up, you will get your results. Scan timer can be interrupted by either moving your ship, or switching the radar mode to Passive Found at: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1765707984 *Removed for time being* Resource Beacons - Resource beacons dispense any FloatingObject type resource when triggered by players. Bases have three states: Ready - beacon is ready for resource selection; Spawn - beacon will spawn the selected resource after the spawn timer reaches 0. Cooldown - beacon will do nothing until the cooldown reaches 0 and is reset to Ready status. All players will be notified when a base changes states. To celebrate Space Engineers going to full-service on StrayaGaming AND the introduction of our new modded server, we will be hosting a demolition derby on the modded server at 20:00 Thursday 28th November 2019. Rules: Small-grid rovers only No power source allowed as this will be supplied Turrets and missile weapons not allowed Can use gatling guns Ship tools not allowed Nanobots not allowed Rovers may have horizontal thrusters No vertical thrusters Upon arriving a reactor will be placed on your grid followed by the shield mod You will be eliminated when/if your grid is destroyed OR you lose your reactor Prizes: First place - 1xZonechip and 2x ZPM Second place 1xZPM Third place 10k gold ingots Time: 20:00 Thursday 28th November 2019 on the StrayaGaming Space Engineers modded server. If you can't build a rover one will be spawned for you but may not be as good as others. Please join in early to ensure your rover is ready to rumble!     Hello Engineers. The Server has been reset by the looks. Fortunately through the magic of Blueprinting, the SG crew have rebuild the Server Hub station and are working on a new project. The implementation of mods is being looked into and hopefully that will be worked out soon. Until then, continue to build, drop landers and remember to blueprint your ships. Blueprinting will help in the event of another server reset, allowing an admin to restore all your progress with a single click.
