Guest Report post Posted March 1, 2017 Skynet Rises - Altis Life Server Event Due to recent attacks on government infrastructure and the inadequacy of the police to stop these attacks the Altis government has been researching new AI machines to help protect the government infrastructure, or so they thought. The secret government project ran out of control when the machines became responsible for manufacturing themselves, this lead to AI technology that resulted in the machines taking over. Over the next few days Skynet will be attacking cities and towns all over Altis to try and destroy the human race, all sides must unite to defend humanity against this threat because failure will result in extinction. Latest intelligence suggest that Skynet is running the latest state of the art AI including UGV Stompers RCWS, MQ-12 Falcon and the MQ-4A Greyhawk. These vehicles are highly advanced and should be fought with extreme caution, air, land and sea vehicles can be used to destroy these AI. Extras A) Only take what you don’t mind losing, no compensation will be given for items lost throughout the course of this event. B) Looting of dead participants is allowed during this event, this is the incentive to play. C) Those parties taking part in the event cannot rob, arrest, detain or kill the other faction (It is human against AI). D) This event will be moderated closely with messages going out prior to the AI arriving at a location, if you do not want to take part in the event find the nearest safe zone and stay inside it until the event is over. Guest Report post Posted March 2, 2017 Skynet Rises - Altis Life Server Event After failing the first attack Skynet is increasing its tempo to try and destroy the human race, stage two of the Skynet invasion will begin sometime tonight. Intelligence suggests that the Altis government missile silos being compromised and the missiles locked onto the main city of Sydney. There will be an effort by the government to try and evacuate the population of Sydney to a safer place, but will they succeed in this effort before the missiles land. This missile attack is seen to be an effective strategy to try and weaken the human defenses Skynet faced during its last attack, however will this be enough? I was sure @Rhys Beckett driving his truck into the compound had stopped them, but time is like an ocean.... @TrueBlue as Kyle Reese, pretty entertaining. I was in my prime then, lol.
