Hello Engineers!


While StrayaGaming staff have a wide selection of ways to test our players skills in events, we are always open to suggestions and feedback from the community so we can keep our events relevant, fresh and  fun.

If you have an idea then this is the place to put it into words so staff can see the vision and potentially recreate it in-game.

Suggestion Criteria

  •  Be as descript as possible so staff can understand and visualise the event.
  •  Sever settings will not be altered for the event (adding a mod just for the event is highly unlikely).
  •  Link any relevant blueprint that would be needed for your event.
  •  Have a clear and fair set of rules, with winning conditions that wont prologue the event past 90 minutes.
  •  Suggest a reward for the event that is enticing but not game breaking.

We look forward to hearing your suggestions and encourage others to give feedback on the events players put forward.

    Space obstacle course fly from one platform to another but having to go around things. Catch being is the ship used only had a cockpit 1 engine and a gyro so need to spin around to change direction or slow down

    Love it Munk! I have thought up a similar sounding race with fighters and obstacles but I am definitely pinching a few of your ideas here.

    Some kind of convoy attack/defend mission with 2 teams. There are actually two ways it could be done. The first is where the convoy is stationary and team A attacks them. The second is where the convoy is moving and has to get past a point in space that the attacking team is protecting "reach the jump point" as it were.

    Scenario 1:
    Team D
    A convoy of unarmed transports is making a supply run throughout this sector and needs fighter cover. Defend them!
    Team A
    A convoy of military transports intends to deliver supplies to our enemies. Stop them!

    Scenario 2:
    Team A
    A convoy of transports is making a run for the jump node. Don't let any make it!
    Team D
    A convoy of our transports is making a run for the blockade. Break the blockade for them!

    The transports would be AI controlled, UNARMED and provided as props by staff (perhaps https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1978003281). The transports could have target zones such as jump drives, engines, reactors or cargo containers that if you hit them are worth points to the attacking team. The defending team would have to save a certain percentage of all points on the transports (perhaps 60%), gains points for each remaining objective block and would gain additional points for destroying Team A ships.
    Fighters to be used by both teams could be provided by staff, with player made (and provided) ships screened for approval.

    Hey l was thinking maybe we can organize a Tournament every 2nd weekend where a faction/allied factions go up against other factions and their allies so lets say  6 different factions all face each other in an open neutral area in space using cruiser/battle ships and so on and each faction fights to last man standing. Cause l realized battles are scarce in this server unless 2 parties agree or which in most cases offline raids none head to head.

    Possible Rules

    1) size off arena maybe a circle off about 100km from one end to the other

    2) each faction has 1 capital Ship or flag ship (don't overkill cause off server handling)

    3) All Capital Ships MUST have their beacon on

    4) winners are decided by the last faction to still have a operational capital/flagship

    5) if a players ship gets destroyed beyond repair or operational players can spawn at their friends

    Rewards

    1st place = 3 Zpm ( each player participated in the winning faction )

    2nd place = 2 ZPM ( each player participated in the winning faction )

    3rd place = 1 Zpm ( each player participated in the winning faction )

    The reason why l think this would make it fair reward is cause zpm are already extremely rare and some factions only have 1 player and some have 6 players
