The Ifrit doors only offer protection against bullets when they are not open (locked). Bullets are able to pass through if they are open (unlocked).
The Hunter does not suffer this kind of issue, bullets cannot hurt the driver regardless of whether the doors are open or closed.
I would recommend removing the script for Hunters/Ifrits where the doors physically open and close as one side gets an advantage and the other doesn't.

1. Get an Ifrit.
2. Get someone in the Ifrit and open the doors.
3. Shoot them in the head.
1. Get a Hunter.
2. Get someone in the Hunter and open the doors.
3. Attempt to shoot them in the head.
