Name: Frank Callsign: S30B Date of Disciplinary Action: 15/01 What Disciplinary Action was placed against you: 2 week probation Who were you Disciplined by: ? Reason for Disciplinary Action against you: Causing issues within the cop force Why the appeal should be accepted: Situation one: Sagara and I had minor beef that I had no knowledge about and was brought up to me from Axle and Sagara, we sorted that out and we were all good. Sagara then proceeded to whinge/talk shit behind my back specifically blaming me from the Tony Montana/Rhys Beckett situation. Axle was aware of this and pulled us into the channel and said we need to squash the beef and no more shit talk needs to ensue or who ever was causing the issues will be removed from detective. For two weeks after this I kept my mouth shut and didn't mention Sagaras name once but consistently had my fellow detectives coming to me saying he was talking shit about me and commenting that I shouldn't be a sergeant. I completely ignored this for about two weeks until I got sick of it and went to axle about the situation, Axle proceeded to confirm my concerns with the other detectives and verified that Sagara had been talking a lot of shit and dragging on this "beef" for no issue. Sagara then played the victim card and said "I want to work this out and not have any beef." how I saw it was I already gave him the chance to stop being rude behind my back and I shouldn't be forced into giving him another chance and that Jeb and Axle should of stayed true to their threat and dealt with it appropriately.(Note Axle and Jeb did remove Sagara from senior detective to detective until Excel got involved) After the incident myself and Sagara were both given warnings again for causing beef and I feel like that was very unfair as I have not tried to cause any issues and I went to Axle with a complaint and came out as the issue. Situation two: Proof 1: https://soundcloud.com/danny-prescott-139293864/asdfffff/s-CFUUw Proof 2:(Conversation afterwards no hostility just trying to be friendly) https://soundcloud.com/fusionable/daryl-g-incident Break down of the recording Starting clip: I was just trying to tell him as a friend you can't do that. He instantly gets angry and mutes himself you can hear me try to say "Im just doing it to back you up but he already muted" Second clip part: Me trying to get into the processing room and telling Daryl to get back on TS3 and unmute Third clip: Me talking to Fusionable about it Forth part of clip: Me approaching him ingame and him abusing me (Confirm with Inspector Phantom if he heard swearing going on from Daryl) http://prntscr.com/i0koc6 Fifth: Me giving him gate duty for disrespecting a higher up and him saying "I dont respect your authority" Situation in text: In detective gear in Sydney PD civilian calls me out for having rebel gear so I decide to roleplay with Virtual Seahorse into arresting me for this, when this has happened I overheard Daryl trying to get people added to the wanted list for crimes he did not witness as per HERE (sergeant responsibilities) it states to enforce GD protocols and to give warnings when lower ranks are not following them, As a friend of Daryls I decided to just talk to him and say "I hope you're not adding people to the wanted list for crimes you didn't witness" he proceeded to answer with "If you're in detective gear you can't enforce protcols on me and mutes(note this was in a very aggressive tone)." I proceed to try get him to unmute a few more times before I give up and let him finish processing. He left processing and went back to GD, I pulled him down to a different channel just to have a friendly chat not to punish him or get him in trouble (as you can hear in the video I say "no im not going to report daryl") my intention was never to get angry at him or get him in trouble it was purely for his gain/backing him up, he then left and refused to talk again saying I have no power to drag him down. I then go to him in game and say "Im not trying to have a go at you I am just trying to tell you as a friend"(or something similar you can hear it in the video) he then proceeds to tell me to **** off and he doesn't respect my authority/generally abuse me so I ask him to jump on the wall for 10 minutes just to cool down he proceeds to continue to abuse me and say I dont see you as someone of power so I will not listen to you. I then proceded to have a conversation with him and with fusionable to try resolve the issue you can hear it HERE. You can hear that I am non hostile and merely trying to give daryl some advice and he is hostile and unwilling to listen and stating that he is going to go off 2.0 protcols and we shouldn't be enforcing 3.0. Phantom then joined and tried to sort out the issue which he is very capable of but 7 cabinet/command people decided to join and get involved in it. I was then given a 2 week probation for initiating an issue. As you can hear in the recordings I am not hostile or aggressive at anytime or trying to cause issues. I make points about trying to do it as a friend and not wanting Daryl to be punished" Any other information: Both times in the past two days I have gone to someone trying to resolve an issue and it has been thrown back in my face. I feel like Cabinets perception of my character led them to believe Daryls side of the story without any proof that I was hostile and tried to cause issues. Phantom himself verified that Daryl G was abusive towards a higher up and he was given no punishment. A good way to compare this is that someone has gone to complain about someone in the work place and supplied good reason/proof that their claims are true and getting discipline for it. I request that Matthew, McCain, Bow and Milkdud review this appeal as I was given the punishment by the other parties of command/cabinet.

Hmm sadly I agree.

Can we just change the declaration rules so people can't declare on cops in city limits unless its a gas station? If cops declare on civilians it's fine, it just takes away the ability to be shot in the skull from the behind when you have no idea where the person/people are.
-
It is not RP to declare and kill cops for fun.
-
You can appeal in one month to my knowledge.
-
Phantom, the issue was the fact that cops were not in danger unless they were walking up to the ladder and looking down there. They had the tactical advantage where they could wait for them to climb the ladder and ascertain if they were armed. I completely agree SRT should of been called because yes there was a protest but there was probably about 20 muppets with 6.5 killing cops, but a warning should of been given first.
-
I agree with you that civilians should be inside during SRT/away from the chaos, but whoever shot Rhys should never of taken that shot, he should of been 100% sure it was going to hit the target.
-
Most cases is probably the wrong wording. This situation all started with Ray killing random civilians unarmed or armed at car garage which were execution style similar to the video supplied above, then another case was Rhys Beckket getting his snout kicked in with a bullet by Mitch while walking down the road during the march(Note rhys didnt have a firearm at all), then another case was Tony Abbots. The fact it happened three times and not just a one off is the issue bro, I am sure there were probably 100+ justified killings during that SRT but these are the ones that stood out to me.

(Not referring to Augnov and Mitch unleashing lethal down the ladder hole)
-
I am not going to hold it against you because I didn't see it from your perspective. But I still disagree with how the whole situation was dealt with overall.
-
I agree you didn't mean to execute them but you should never of shot down that hole with lethal rounds in the first place.
-
The cop was executed in retaliation to the other cop shooting an unarmed gang member of the executioner. This has been run past an admin and confirmed to be within rule 6.4.

I have also been playing civilian the last few days and have an opinion on the situation. (Please note I primarily play cop and will try be as non-bias as possible) Unfortunately cops think they're above the law, they can commit a crime as a cop and there is no one to charge them as they're the "government" and or "justice system" on Altis. They have no reason to think "if I do this I will get charged/arrested/sent to jail." as there pretty much isn't one. This allows cops to have a poor mentality when it comes to playing the game in general. A good example of this is running people over, earlier today the civilians were protesting outside of PD and positioning their selves at the exit gate to PD. Cops automatically have the mindset that these people are trolling, but in this case they were doing the complete opposite they were doing a non-violent protest against the fact that cops were unlawfully discharging their firearms into crowds and killing unarmed civilians. The civilians were sitting in front of the gate and a cabinet member gave permission to all their police officers to "run straight through them", this is silly in my opinion as all cops needed to do was roleplay and remove them from that area of the police station or even put some barriers up to force them not to be in that area.. Instead they barge through like a bunch of muppets, throwing civs into the water causing them to drown and bonnet slamming their skulls the ground. In real life you would go to jail for that, on this game you can't send a cop to jail so it doesn't make sense. Another example is a role play situation that I had where I was driving on the correct side of the road going the speed limit and a police officer comes racing around the corner on the wrong side of the road, I then swerve to avoid them and they also swerve to correct their mistake and we have a head on collision. I get out of the car and apologies and am immediately put under arrest and being told that I am being charged with vehicle manslaughter as the prisoner in the vehicle of the cop died. This is where I had to unfortunately get help desk involved because every cop online refused to acknowledge the fact that the cops were in the wrong for once. Help desk reviewed the incident and immediately said that it was ridiculous to arrest someone for that so the cops let me go. In real life their would of been an actual investigation and the cops would of been found guilty of reckless driving. Now the incident today... The genocide that happened in the ladder room of office, if that video was not involving members of cabinet/command/high ranking cops and was a bunch of lower ranking officers.. blacklist/bans and head bashing would of ensued on the lower ranks. Although I don't want the people in the video to hate me for saying this I think it needs to be said. The cops excuse was along the lines of "someone shot at us from down there" but you were all in a position where you could of hidden and waited for people to climb the ladder then taze/kill them depending on the situation. Although I may have a different perspective if I was the cop involved this is my perception as a civilian. The main road march with flash bangs being biffed at the crowd was stupid, it ruined all the role play aspects possible and was the worst tactical option cops could of used. When using force you have to think to yourself "What will the outcome be if I do this?"" Throwing flash bangs into an angry crowd will just make them angrier and will not change the situation at all. Roadblocks, Riot squad lines and Teargas were much better options. No trial? There were 20+ civilians asking for a trial against the police officers involved in the incidents today and instead of role playing a trial which would of been VERY simple/Great roleplay and easy, the cops decided to fight back with a poorly organised riot squad. The civilians only left when the cops left to go to a bank and if that didn't happen we probably would still be there. Please note, I am not anti-cop or anti-civ at all I love playing both but I do completely agree there needs to be some big changes.

ON HOLD Come to academy office and see myself for a maturity test

When you say $100,000 or he sends you to jail, was he trying to give you a ticket for a crime you had committed? If not then if you have proof submit an APD complaint form.

Straya life will not be out for at least 6 months, I think a good option now is to move pc 1 into city limits and slowly decreasing price of rebel gear until its balanced. @Apollo thoughts?
