Any chance of getting another/multiple Iron, Copper, and Gem mining/processing/trading sites? It's just too easy currently to raid civilians at any of the current sites, or to track players going from mining to processing and intercepting them at the trader

Turtles you can just swim up to and press the windows key to gather them, no need to shoot the poor buggers. Cotton is for ghillie suits and bergan backpacks. All else you need for a ghille is a bit of weed. I think it's something like 10 fabric, 10 thread, and 5 pot. Thread takes 2 cotton to craft (or is converted at the same rate at the cotton processing shack) and fabric takes 2 thread to craft. Crafting is via the Y menu. There is 5 catagories: guns, ammo, uniforms (which is where you find the ghillie suits) backpacks, and craftables which includes gold nuggets to legal gold bars, processing gemstones yourself with hammers and chisels, gunpowder for ammo etc. One thing that took me while to find is if you're looking to craft bergan backpacks (which have 150 virtual storage compared to 110 of a carryall backpack) is the refined leather. You need to buy regular leather from a sporting goods store, get refined salt from mining salt and processing it at the salt processing place, and charcoal which is purchasable from bunnings

I couldn't at the Sydney bunnings? Maybe I was doing something wrong at the time. This was after processing it as well

I've gotten a few turtles just out of curiosity, and the Brisbane fish market doesn't seem to want to buy them off me? Any clue? I believe also you can pay a 1 off fee (each time) for cutting a single type of gem. From memory it was $10,000 per type, but any amount of that type is covered in the same cutting. Good for if you accumulate a few (lets say 6 rubies) for a solid injection of money. Oil farming i think is under-rated, since it is almost never camped at gathering, processing, or selling, but watch out for rocks on your approach to the various places. Same for fishing. Both obviously are slow money, but slow safe money is better than none money. Trying to mine/sell copper or iron at peak times is a death sentence, as the highways in and out of Sydney are like Mad Max, and iron mine is such an easy gank area. People doing heroin runs usually see you if they depart from contractor base. Very much do not recommend at peak hours. Salt mining is pretty solid also, but quite a long drive. Timber is pointless, haven't found somewhere to sell it to yet. Cotton is great if you want to craft but I don't believe there is a vendor for thread/fabric. Oh and being compliant really does work wonders. If you get held up by the same gang a few times and you haven't bitched at them previously, generally you get off lighter, or even better make friends out of em. Offer to help people. Sometimes the weirdest situations pay you great dividends in the long run

After the 2 weeks of joining, I guess I have a few questions... maybe suggestions... anyway: 1) what is the purpose of gaining levels in Civilian Proficiency? 2) Why is gold nuggets not affected by a proficiency? I can mine 6 diamonds worth around $372,000, or 12 iron worth approx $52,200 in a hit, but only ever 2 nuggets. 3) Shouldn't the spawning areas in Sydney, Melbourne, and especially Brisbane be included in the safe zone? I've been robbed a few times now from spawning in outside of safe zones. 4) Atm's near truck shops? The Brisbane one is so far away 5) I wish their were multiple of each farming node and processing plant. Like 2 of copper, 2 of iron, 2 of weed etc. Currently during peak hours it is just wallet suicide to go farm any drug or metal. During these times I usually just fart around in town, or try stupid tricks in planes/choppers and die. Which is ok I guess. But more variety would be so nice. 6)Police sometimes... I just shake my head. I was pulled over maybe 500 meters south of the Sydney police checkpoint for speeding 15km over the limit. I told the officers that their was literally a gunfight, with 2 dead officers at the checkpoint, and I was driving the hell away as quickly as possible. After issuing me I think a $10,000 ticket, a "good evening sir" they turned around and drove back to Sydney. Bullets cracking in the distance. This is not a once off either. It feels like most are there to issue tickets. They don't give a **** about your livelihood. I've texted for assistance as close as the diving shop for assistance because I was being robbed at gunpoint, nothing happens. Maybe it is because they are swamped, I dunno. But the next time they pull me over for driving a strider down the highway I might just ignore them because holy **** it's like Mad Max 2.0 out there. Us civilians need to be able to protect ourselves, since the police cannot. And be able to without being fined/jailed for doing so. On the other hand, I've been given more than my fair share of warnings about parking a chopper on the beach by KurtisNZ, so thanks for that 7) Can we install remote car bombs on our vehicles? If I cant keep my truck, than **** the **** who stole it and his horse. See above for inspiration lol *Edits below* 8)A heliport in brisbane would be so goddam nice. 9) more boat ramps to get/store our boats. *oh shit one more edit* 10) The Tempest Device Truck seems.... kinda pointless? Hell I thought It processed the item you sat it on. It's got ok storage (not for its price) and ok speed, but if all it does is mine the basic item, that's such a massive waste

I dunno what exactly the rules are, but I'm pretty sure most newer people think we can just shoot at cops in general. I'm guessing you are meant to dec on cops like anyone else. Or is a cop arresting/chasing you with lights on seen as a dec? Also that checkpoint in town that was up for a bit, I thought I read that was meant to replace the police checkpoint 1. Why not make it a safe zone so that randoms cant just snipe at police but police can still arrest/taze people in it. Seems like the police in general have very strong... whats the ****in words for it... people either really hate them or defend them. I kinda figured the issues I had put up was either inexperience or just too busy before posting. Ya'll need to chill a bit though >.> there is obviously a lot going on there that is over my head so ima just shut up I know now though that if something comes up that seems awry I'll definitely give feedback to.. .someone... higher ups in the PD or whatnot. Actually where would i even do that?

Unfortunately no, I didn't record at that time because I didn't think much of it, but for sure I can submit video in the future if it helps

Ahh ok. That's so annoying that trolls ruin what could/should be a great system

I've tried selling planks at the bunnings north of sydney to no avail, couldn't be arsed after that driving to the eastern bunnings to check. It's a question that comes up a few times in game, and no one seems to know for sure
