If James hadn't cut out the rest of WL staff from the process the terrain might be functional. the Pseudo map editor is a bit unhappy.

Hello Engineers. The Server has been reset by the looks. Fortunately through the magic of Blueprinting, the SG crew have rebuild the Server Hub station and are working on a new project. The implementation of mods is being looked into and hopefully that will be worked out soon. Until then, continue to build, drop landers and remember to blueprint your ships. Blueprinting will help in the event of another server reset, allowing an admin to restore all your progress with a single click.

30th September: We have identified the problem with the server, being that it isn't finding the last save file and loading it. The problem should be fixed soon and we should be able to have the server run consistently.

Cheers @Fitz for adding my Jurassic texture :D! People lost their minds when they saw it. . Hopefully we'll see some of the other new skins make their way onto I&A soon . ps: I don't know if your able to, but there's also an interior jpeg texture for the car. I don't know if the code allows for interiors though.

That moment you log into a store and everyone there has no friendly markers... Well... Good thing I have my godly charisma. "Hey... Guys... My friendly markers aren't showing... Can you see my BLUE tags"? "No"... I start sweating at this point, eyeing off the 6 guys in front of me. I can hear more on the roof. "You may need to re-log, I can't see your markers". *Goes back to store clerk*. YES! at this point I have them all completely convinced. For 10 minutes I plan each of their demise. A charge here, a mine there, shoot that guy, hide the body... Then it all fell apart. I hear the squeakety squeak of a wetsuit behind me. "You wouldn't be lying would you Dak"? Shivers run down my spine as Cougah's hand runs down my backpack for my medkit. Immediately shot and stabilized. Sigh. It was so good. The plan had worked so well. I swear if Cougah wasn't such a chaotic evil, I might have predicted. My godly charisma simply can't match unpredictable.

They say when wasteland players die, they go to the go-kart track in the sky

@InvictiisI regret nothing!

Unless those few skilled players get enough money to start spamming them. Much alike the drone spam that's happening right now. I don't think they should be priced low if they can destroy an entire team over and over and then be spammed on top of that.
-
You'd have to ask @Unit_3397 what hes willing to try and code because that stuff ain't easy. Pricing, availability and armament are what we can easily change. Beyond that it's custom code and would take a while to do.

After the last patch to the server, I have noticed that the turret backpacks are no longer available to any class but the FSG gunner. There being only one slot however for FSG, it really acts more as a removal of turrets. The FSG gunner will always focus more on mortar than players who would use the hmg or gmg, titan AT and AA. I humbly suggest allowing each class a particular turret. For example, the AT soldier would use the TITAN turrets and regular infantry the hmg and gmg. The engineer would have access to the AI turrets as well as hmg and gmg turrets ("Buildin a sentry"!). The FSG slot would retain access to all turrets including mortars. Because the turrets have been collectively restricted to a single slot, their usage has dropped to almost none at all. The turrets are a particularly fun part of invade and annex and I have enjoyed setting them up at HQs during defense missions. They allow players an option of heavy weaponry emplacements and a whole new way to camp. As a player who used turrets all the time, I'll admit a little tear rolled down my cheek when the box beefed up and demanded I hand over the backpack. The limitation for mortar usage was necessary, but I think we'd enjoy regaining the use of regular turrets :).

Thanks to all opfor who participated in last nights on-the-spot event (2:am to 4:am). For those wondering what was going on, it was an event idea that happened pretty much as soon as we (opfor) took Jack Killerado (Independent Player) hostage. We had him locked up in the airbase gun store and challenged his friends to rescue him. To up the anti, we called Jack's ensurance company to see if they were willing to offer a payout and $20,000 was arranged. As the announcements rolled for the reward for his rescue, so did the numbers until, while a Bluefor tank pounded the store with HE shells the final call came through for $160,000. At this point Jack was begging us to stop spoon-feeding him money . With the HVT marker on the map, players from both independent and Bluefor relentlessly attacked the gun store. Jack Killerado was now in danger from simply being shelled out of the little box house we had him in. Opfor decided to move Jack to an ATM, where he would be forced to part ways with most of his life insurance (Keeping a hefty amount himself) with the opfor players involved. As soon as the last HE shell dropped onto the store, We moved Jack into the open, straight up the hill towards the Old Outpost ATM. As soon as we stepped foot over the top of the hill, that's where everything went south. one titan missile, right into Jack's face. We then proceeded to revive train, failing each time to another titan missile until EVERY opfor player somehow managed to die XD. At that point it was a mad scramble for the money. The Goodnight Clan was hot on the cash, picking it up and that of the fallen Opfor players. The amount was raised up to $222,000 from the carnage. The Goodnight member began to flee towards the ATM only to be killed by Jack himself, returned to claim his insurance money. Shortly after another titan missile the money was up for grabs again. While opfor regrouped the money traveled south on a new HVT, where we presume it was split between the members of an independent group who fled the area. There was a hunt through the forest with players hunting anyone who even approached an ATM. The killing continued for a while until it was announced that the money had been banked. Poor Jack was left to fill out insurance forms and everyone went back to camping and such (or to sleep as it had reached 4 AM Melbourne time). I'd like to thank all the opfor players who participated in the event and most importantly, poor Jack Killerado who spent the first half locked inside a building as a prisoner. We had originally planned to keep him there until players actually began attempting to rescue him. He had every opportunity to log off with $160,000 but for some silly reason chose to just run with the crazy escort mission idea I had instead XD. Hopefully this gives us something new we can do with Team Stacking, having events that attract players on all teams to a large prize with an objective in mind. If any other players captured any screenshots last night of the event, please feel free to upload them into the comments :).

When your ammo truck gets blown up, its the enemy team actually moving to disable your air superiority. Its tactics. If there is a player dominating the air, they can only do so while they have ammo. Kill the ammo, remove the ability to fight. Your just gonna have to fork it out if you want to run those aircraft and ground vehicles.

Does anyone know where to grab the Slammer texture file? I'm currently working on skin concepts myself but haven't got the psd for it.
-
It would be good for a server event, but there are a lot of players who won't have the patience for long drives.
-
Considering the only place you can buy them from is the airbase, why not. 750 however undermines land transport so maybe as mentioned above at 2000. You can easily sell the car you drove there or find one nearby to make the extra $500.

How would we prevent players locking other player's vehicles?
