this mainly applies to the emergency services, but I think that more prompt-able animations with actual functions would bring a bit of flow and immersion (Maybe they happen automatically whilst doing a certain action)?

E.g if I'm writing a ticket, an animation will happen where I'm writing on a document board/clip board (I know this sort of thing is possible with scripting, where you attach the object to a certain party of the body).

Some hand actions, stuff like a stop animation, get back, turn around, hands on your head etc etc. The main one I would like to see is the ticketing one.

There's a whole host of options and uses for this. I think it'd be good.

I looked in the animation viewer (all the vanilla assets) I don't think you'll be very happy with the base animations unless Straya goes ahead and gets custom ones. There are some animations that would make roleplay feel more real and benefit in doing so however there are like checkpoint ones where you check someones car that could be cool for police, and there's hand gestures.

because time? what if the mod pack updates? gotta download it again. which if you have shit internet means you cant do anything else on the internet. sure leave on over night to download but that also means paying for your pc to be on overnight. constantly having to download shit is annoying. not everyone has fibre bro

Back when I had ADSL and I got 200kb I would download all my games over night. What if Arma updates, new DLC? Oh no gotta leave 'ere on over night. $2 I reckon it'll cost you to leave it on. You don't need fibre to be able to download. If someone had a very tight data limit I would understand however.

not a lot of people see it that way they see more work and uses to much internet to try. BTW I all for new animations but have seen 3 sever died because people didn't want to download

Too much work? Literally every server I try to join that requires mods bar a few like exile, theres literally auto-subscribe to the mods.

which then would lower the pop because people don't like to download things or just have shit internet because Australia :feelssadman:

How the **** did they get Arma installed without downloading? The whole 'no mods on servers cuz bad internet' is so dumb... If it's a big mod pack and your internet is like 100 KB/s leave the computer on over night.

I don't think you could get that into a script without having to download unfortunately :(

...Dunno though, not a code monkey, that's what Connor is for.

  5. What if when there's lots of players on the pilots at the base don't run to AO but instead one pilot takes players from base to fob and another takes from fob to AO?

So if there's 6 pilot slots I forgot how many there are 3 at base doing fob trips and 3 at fob doing ao trips.
