Then a guy by the name of Sebastien started to lockpick Silent's hunter. Silent said to him that if he comes back then he would shoot him (he had only lethel mags). He came back a minute or so later and started lockpicking, then I remembered what Silent said and decided i'd shoot him, because we had already told him if he came back he will be shot. So I got banned for 1 day for RDM and put on Taser Probation for 1 week. Why the appeal should be accepted: [50 Words] I believe this should be appealed because I did not have the intention or desire to RDM someone. I was simply just following on what another officer had said, plus we were did dec on him and he did not listen. I don't think I should get a taser probation for this but rather a warning. I am also not completely sure whether someone lockpicking a police vehicle counts as a dec. I would appreciate it greatly if this does get appealed because I did not have any intention or desire to do the wrong thing, and it was a really big surprise to get disciplined for this. Because I am not a bad officer, obviously not perfect, but I try my best not to do the wrong thing. For example, earlier another officer wanted me to play tackle using placeables, but I refused because I knew it was against protocols.

(50 Words min) I believe I deserve the promotion from Senior Constable to Sergeant for a number of reasons. Firstly, I want to be a role model to all the lower ranking officers. I want to be that higher ranking officer who will always help recruits and new-comers. I also want to be able to be able to add people to the wanted list, because I see some officers are ignored when they ask for someone to be added, I want to be that Sergeant who will help those lower ranks by adding people to the wanted list. Another reason why I believe I deserve a promotion is because I am very active. Ive seen many cops who are never on and I believe we need more Sergeants in the APD who are active. I’ve had many instances where I restrain someone as a cop and then their friend kills me. Then I’ve had some people say it’s rdm, others say it’s a dec. My friend had also asked admins about this and he said that different admins give different answers. So i would greatly appreciate it if someone could tell me the truth whether it is RDM or if it is a dec.

I have been told that in order for me to be promoted to Sergeant (which is what rank I’m striving for) I must take the initiative to take CO and command general duties. I want to be able to do this well, and I also want to command GD in a different style and introduce new ideas to commanding GD. But, at the moment taking CO is more of a burden to me instead of enjoying the roleplay of taking command, and I’ll say why soon. Whoever I’m CO, not many people listen to me, I feel like I’m talking to a brick wall. An example would be when I asked in teamspeak why there are so many units in PD who aren’t processing, I asked the units by their names why they are at PD just walking around. They did not respond to me and their teamspeak wasn’t even muted, and they were running around in game. Or when there’s a situation going on and I ask ‘what’s the 10-18”.... and no one responds and they just continue with their conversations. It also doesn’t help when all these things are happening when a higher up tells me in the teamspeak with everyone there that I have to talk more and handle GD better, i would rather the higher up tell me in another channel instead of saying it with everyone to hear, it makes me dread being CO and it’s annoying because I want the promotion but I need to take CO more to be promoted. Also if anyone has the time, could you respond to this post with what is the best way to handle GD, or other ideas on how to be CO, because atm I am struggling.

I reckon you should be like a sub division within the APD that involves sitting at Police checkpoints around the map (not just PC1) and search vehicles and registrations. I would really love this to be introduced and would make cop more diverse. I understand that GD can just go and sit at PC1 if they have enough people, but I think it would be great if they could make a sub division out of it and get “Border Security” their own set of Protocals as well. Maybe give them their own skinned uniform and vehicle as well to make it more professional. I would love this idea to be introduced and would appreciate it if the StrayaGaming team would look into it ?

I think there should be more official jobs for civilians. Right now there are not many legal things civilians can do. There a truck deliveries which make no money if you do them the legal way, and then there’s things like peaches and apple picking, which also don’t make any money. All I see from civilians is that they just wait at Sydney breach and rdm or dec on cops. All they do is rob people and kill, I wanna see more from civilians. I mostly spend time on cop, but I can’t go on civ because there’s simply not much I can do that isn’t illegal. I would love to see more civilian groups become contractors and work with the police as well. Some examples of good jobs could be- bus driver (Van), Airlines (like Quantas) and maybe a contractor group that can control the police checkpoints around Altis, and there are many more roleplay jobs. I would like to see this happening because I believe the roleplay on our server would advance.

I used to be able to buy a compass from the cop store, but it is no longer there for me. This is annoying cause it is essential to be able to tell your directions when in pursuits or other situations

I hate it so much when I’m just chilling in Sydney doing nothing and a stupid pubslot decides to come up to me and tell me I’m under arrest just because they saw my bounty. It’s annoying and this is one of the many reasons I am starting to hate this server. Cop should have name tags turned off to avoid metagaming, i got banned the other for simply disconnecting when 2 stupid pubslots looked at my name and told me I’m under arrest. I will probably be taking a long break from the server simply for the reasons of metagaming from cops, RDM from every civ and VDM when I’m just trying to do some role play. There is also absolutely NO role play in this server anymore, when I’m on civ I just get RDMed and robbed, when I’m on cop I just get RDMed by civs in Sydney and medic is quite boring in my opinion.

Yeah that’s how I want to play on this server, but there are just some players who make this ‘role play’ server seem more like a combat server. I get what you mean and I totally agree 100%, but there are just simply so many people who don’t want to do this, all they want is to kill cops or kill and rob civs, I personally would rather roleplay than gunning down a cop or civ. That’s why when I do speeding chases and I stop them I try to be very friendly and engage in proper roleplay, but a lot of the time there will be that gang or group of civs who will gun you down when you’re trying to roleplay. I understand this problem is hard to solve, but there is a way to fix it but it will require the whole community to be involved.

And also I love being cop, but civs just make It frustrating. When I pull someone over for speeding and want to roleplay, then his gang member or some new civ shoots me. I want to enjoy myself on this server and make the server more enjoyable for everyone by role playing, but it doesn’t help when your getting RDMed. Also when I take a civ into processing, they make it so annoying and frustrating to process them, they come up with every stupid excuse for me not to find their ID, for example: ‘I don’t have my drivers license, ‘my finger prints are burnt off’, ‘my face is deformed’. All these excuses make processing a nightmare and it is very unenjoyable. I love the server and the role of cop, but the people on it just make it bad. I can take verbal abuse from a civ, but when they start coming up with every excuse in the book for me not to find their identity, it just makes it boring and frustrating.
