This could be a good change as it gives both cops and rebels something new to fight over and you could possibly have different spawn locations. Have it on a timer too?

Yeah I would say it has a start and a finish location, so say it travels from say Neochori to Rodopoli- and if it doesnt reach the destination within say 20 minutes it will self-destruct or something along those lines.

  2. Like the event last night, they could add in a sort of convoy event which spawns in maybe once or twice a day and has guns, gear and other things that might be useful (but nothing too powerful, so maybe like the airdrop contents with perhaps a vest or two). This would make it so cops and rebels can interact and have PVP and whatnot, and perhaps some roleplay may come out of it. Would be fun to trial this idea though.

I don’t get how hard it is to update the server regularly, as Greeny said use the donations to hire other developers or just offer dev positions to some community members. All other servers that I’ve seen succeed have listened to their community and engaged with them on the forums to help them workshop ideas and have them implemented. These communities have also had regular updates adding significant amounts of content yet on strays we haven’t had new content in months and we have a broken fed. If you want people to play on your server then give them shit to do! The cop to civ ratio recently has been ****ed because there is nothing for rebels and civs to do but **** with cops in Sydney or hit a bank.

The highest level of community engagement I've personally seen is with events, which are rare. Furthermore, the lack of noticeable continuous updates to the server is certainly detrimental to the number of players online- especially with the poor FPS and optimisation for active/user populated areas. The addition of areas to interact with like the suggestion about a casino, or other KOS zones with rewards which are enticing will certainly give players another thing to keep occupied with instead of roaming Sydney and killing cops or doing bank.

What would make a lot of sense is for new additions to be trialed on the server for a few weeks to allow players to participate and interact with the new additions, but also having the forum and administrative interaction so people can decide whether this feature should be permanent or not. A lot of the suggestions mentioned above in the original post are very valid, like the comment regarding the ifrit and its animation. But rather than jumping on these and adding them all into the server, host a community poll or voting session so that there is an accurate sense of what the server population would like to see be added or removed.
