This week I have set up persistence, and hopefully it will work properly. Save email messages: This feature can be found on the messenger UI. If there is a message you send often, save it! Then next time you need it, just select it from the dropdown and send! Server wide discounts: All vehicle, weapon, clothing and virtual item stores can have a discount enabled with the flick of a switch. More info here. Map marker controls: If the map is too cluttered for your liking, you can now fix it. Create a marker group to change the size and opacity of all the markers you add to it. To reset back to default, delete all groups and relog. Fishing zones: Struggling to find fish in the sea? Head on out to a fishing zone and find all the fish you’ll ever need! Yes you can catch fish anywhere, but your odds are significantly raised if you’re inside a fishing zone. Get in/out of jail for cops: Walk up to the wall which backs onto the ATM and you will have a scroll wheel to enter the jail, stand near the ATM and you will have a scroll wheel to exit… simple Kajman to rebel store: I felt it was worth noting down, it does not have ammo. StrayaAir skins: Two StrayaAir Caesar skins have been added to the donator store for level 3+. Nyan cat skins: Three Nyan cat skins have been added to the donator store for level 2+. One skin each for the SUV, Hatchback (normal and sport), and Strider. Various anticheat measures: No this does not mean we are unhackable, just means some methods are blocked. New map shade toggle: The default map shade has changed to give a different feel to the map. If you like your maps a little more ordinary, plain and boring you can disable the change in your settings menu. Fixed players joining random groups: The reason I say hopefully is because Arma seems to be unpredictable when it comes to groups. The code was written to put the player in an empty group when they joined, however sometimes they would end up in a group with players already in it. I have rewritten the init to try and prevent this but I can not promise that it will resolve the issue. Report all bugs via the in game bug tracker. I also noticed it only lets you fully control the UAV if it’s unlocked. This frustrated me as I spent 15 minutes trying to figure out why I couldn’t fly it. As a result, the UAV is now unlocked by default. Unable to join your gang if you relog: This is a difficult thing to test as it only seems to occur when there is a large number of players online. Yea, I dont use game logics, have found them to be unreliable. Also in MP it will run the game logic init on everyone, even JIP clients. Obviously it won't to much in that example because hideobjectglobal only works on the server, but depending on what you use the game logic for it could cause unneeded stress.

Im pretty sure you can, if not you can atleast destroy them so theyre flat.

The ping limit is 500. If you open the map, then the player tab on the left and click yourself you will see 'Ping' followed by 3 numbers. It shows the same thing for desync and bandwidth. If all 3 ping numbers get above the limit you are kicked. I like to think of the numbers as tests, so itll test your connection three times and display the result. If thats how it works or not i dont know but its good enough for me Other possible causes for being kicked could be your BE Client freezing, a bad addon signature, 20%+ packet loss or the server having a cry and mass kicking everyone, although I'd assume you could get comp for that.

These buttons direct you to various web pages: the forum homepage, server rules, connect to teamspeak & our new Arma 3 Unit which I encourage you all to join. Vehicle auto garage: During the last few weeks we have observed vehicle numbers climb to well over 400 active at a time, and most of them are just sitting around. This last used timer will mark the last point when the vehicle was used for any action (driving, looking in the inventory, loading into or out of another vehicle, etc) and auto garage if it has not been used in a certain time period. The time period is adjustable, but as of release it is set to half an hour of inactivity. Custom kill, suicide and respawn messages: I have replaced the default Arma 3 messages with some more creative ones which we hope you will enjoy. In total, there are 29 new kill messages, 19 new suicide messages and 22 new respawn messages. Everyone will have access to one custom message from each category, with donators having a broader selection. The number of messages you have access to depends on your rank. For example: a level 3 donator will have access to the level 3 messages, as well as the level 2 and 1 messages. Every time you kill someone, commit suicide and respawn a random message is picked from your selection. Proficiencies: It’s what we have all been waiting for… right? I have done my best to bring in the proficiencies from the old server. Leveling up these proficiencies will result in doing activities faster, as well as bragging rights I suppose. Please do note it may not be perfect. Rebuilt gang system: This new system is still somewhat experimental. I have only been able to do limited testing on it however it looks very reliable so far. Almost all the changes are back end so you won’t see them, however you will notice that creating a gang is free, it has a maximum of 35 slots per gang and it uses a new notification type. This system also has the ability to reserve gang names. If you wish to reserve a name so only specific players can use it, please contact @Leopard. Impound flat rates: Every time you impound a vehicle you will be paid a flat rate on top of the impound fee. You will receive 15k for air vehicles, and 10k for land. Looting buildings and objects: It is not gone forever, but for the time being it just had to go. There is a rather amusing error in the system which allowed looting with no cooldown. I am slightly confused by this. Do you mean that after 3 seconds ur gun doesnt auto unholster or after 3 seconds you can't manually unholster? The script doesnt pull your gun out for you, it just puts it away and disabled the ability to pull it out for x seconds.

Yes, the windows key seize fnc only scans virtual items. No weapons. It is possible however there are bigger things to do first. Actually going to the house will be fine for the time being.

Its X hours of playtime. So if you buy two hours, play for one hour then log off you will have an hour left no matter when you hop on next. Despite what almost everyone says, being in the lobby has zero effect on your ingame data. So sit in the lobby for as long as you want it cannot effect anything ingame.

The issue with gangs right now is it keeps cocking up between making a change to the group and saving it to the db. The default group system has never been reliable so this is no surprise. I can look at making it sync to the db however if it came down to functionality vs persistence I'd be choosing functionality. It costs 30k now but its not like I can't change that.

If name stealing is an issue I can set up a check so only specified steamIDs can use certain gang names. However I'd rather things not come to that.

To fix something it must first be broken which this is not. Like I said, I spoke with leo and this is the way it will stay. If you have any good points as to why this should change send them off to leo.

Using the actual raid feature it allows you to search for illegal items but not properly open an inventory to look in. If that is something you think should be changed, have a chat with leopard.

I have discussed this with leo. Insurance will remain as is, prevent cops breaking in just as it does civs (when using boltcutters).
