Hi I can vouch for the OBS software as i personally use it. But as stated by Mitchell, you might have trouble using it in conjunction with the game if your PC isn't rigged for gaming with high ram. Note that for some people when you attempt to record the game, it may present a black screen while the sound is functional. I don't exactly remember how i fixed it for myself, but i recall you-tubing the answer. If you decide to use it, and have issues, ill happily troubleshoot it with ya. Just pm me a message Regards. Hi Lazyshot, I'm pretty open to the idea of removing radius messages as i seek a more hardcore setting. So ill be defending the right to camp stores. People often operate in groups using UAV's or even just sight peeps and relay that information to the pilot, as i do; and from my prospective, it doesn't matter who camps (flyby's and strafes) the store, vehicle or not, its strategic. I myself can sometimes be found camping the Airfield, be it in the air or on foot. As for drones, well, using a drone we can still achieve this. We just have to rearm more frequently, plus unlike the jet, drones have thermals; so careful what ya wish for Ill just provide some generalized tips for taking em out here: Ram the jet on the runway be it take off or landing to rearm Camp the ammo truck Think strategically, (Jets up in the air, means if he/she is high enough, they will see my Radar lockon, better jump out. ) Complete the ever growing AI missions from updates and get access to explosives crates. (there's plenty lying around these days) The Biggest Tip I can give, is team up and take over the Airfield. I'm more than happy to challenge enemies of OPFOR for it >:D Finally in the 'camping of stores' defence, I take this time to note that Tiggati has stated in the rules for wasteland, camping gun, vehicle or general stores is not breaking rules. Feel free to take a gander. Wasteland Regulations End game, If you are growing tired of the jets, team up and overtake the runway and its gunstore. Perhaps recruiting A few more dedicated moderators to wasteland that are available at different time zones and times throughout the day will not only help with fairness of gameplay but one can be dedicated to the job of resetting this every few days. Consider it a 'team deathmatch' of sorts with access to an assortment of firearms and both civilian and military vehicles. Should you need any assistance or advice regarding the server, I'm generally present most nights and weekends either in game or on TS; otherwise there are plenty of friendly players that will help you understand its game-play and features. Hi @Pope Yuri I Second this!, its a fun environment where you kill, collect your kills money and then either bank it or buy a vehicle to kill some more. Three groups, (OPFOR, BLUFOR, and Indie.) Plenty of missions to allow for Huge money advancements, and plenty of deaths from @Mitchell A. Yo Snow Leopard. I personally like this idea, a Straya gaming clan within the wasteland community. It would be awesome to team up with like minded individuals that like a sense of realism, teamwork and strategy while having fun within the community and on my favourite server. Should you think I am a worthy candidate for such a 'clan' and should this spark enough interest, well... too bad I only go opfor good luck converting me you'll have to snipe me relentlessly for me to even consider. But also keep in mind that some players wont always want to team up and go in all serious... I myself like to just play around with different classes sometimes and mess around... (with AP rockets... Helios... oh and jets getting 101 advice from @Blue Eagle [+1 CREW]. ) I donno, when you produce additional notes regarding this idea and peeps that are keen, spam me with bullets. I'm generally present most nights and weekends, and will be happy to assist you with any questions, you can generally find me playing OPFOR, as such i'll be present within the wasteland Opfor channels section in TS, but should you want to play another faction, we can jump to my private channel if you want any help. Should you have an issue with players friendly or hostile that are disregarding the server Rules, ask for assistance from a Moderator in game, and if there's no reply within a few minutes, jump on the Wasteland Issues Channel for assistance. Cannot disagree with you there, plus it makes the chances of getting your gear back near impossible. But if it is something that can lead to even minor server stability, perhaps after clicking on hide body starts a timer that would delete the body after a period of time. Then again, if such a script was possible and implemented, it could have the reverse affects. in any regard, any changes that are made to increase the stability of the server should hopefully have minimal impact of the level of funkiness of gameplay already possible. Don't quote me on this, but I believe somewhere down the track they are implementing a script to allow Players to 'hide' bodies after a player dies. Whether the body actually is just hidden under the terrain or gets deleted for good could be something to think about. Again, I cannot either confirm or deny this. As for the suitcases, what can i say but 'id love to see em changed' running into them with vehicles/ jets has proven quite problem-some; and from my perspective it makes finding remains of loot too easy. On that note, why does a players death drop two? just a tad curious about that; and you can only pick one up? Regards. Unit_3397.
