Straya has tried multiple times hosting a rust server, once partnering up with an existing community and once creating their own. I'm sure that the community guys would be happy to work with the ops-leads to create a community endorsed server, however the chance of straya hosting a rust server itself is very low. I'm interested though, what do you mean by "competetively"?

Some information for your appeal You were originally being disciplined for the jailing incident, however your blacklist is for a separate issue 1. Urinating on other officers 2. Leaving the command channel multiple times whilst receiving the original discipline The blacklist was put in place by @Augnov The blacklist was put in place on 7/01/2018

Looks awesome, I love the more insurgent-y feel of AAF and I think this will make a nice addition to that (reminds me of one of those artillery rocket trucks)

We are still going to inevitably be shot by gangs who will shoot the MOMENT we restrain someone (regardless of if we say it's for ticketing, and if they do shoot us which would be RDM they would get like a 2 minute ban), plus I can also see it going down this way. > Sir I'm restraining you to check your license > *checks license* > You've come back as wanted and now i'm taking you back to PD. What now? Does me saying that create a dec? Because that isn't a dec, and me restraining them was only for the purpose of ticketing them however - I found other things, does that change the context of the restraint AFTER the fact? I think all in all it's a pointless addition. I think the declaration before knockout was good, but the restraints part makes it far too situational. Plus, if people were going to complain it was a bias rule and be saying "why are police exempt?". The simple solution is give us a way to check licenses without restraining, that way it would look something like this. > Sir can I please see your id > *Checks ID* > Okay sir you've come back wanted and i will now be taking you into custody > *restrains them* THAT order of events there could be considered a hostile action by police from the perspective of a rebel gang and create a dec, but as the rule you've just implemented currently stands, I can restrain someone for the purpose of ticketing them, and then leave after finding out they are wanted with no chance of harm to myself (which if what you're worried about is a bias rule, that's what you have right there).

As @Mitch mentioned to myself, why not change the rule to "Ziptying" Police can't ziptie, they handcuff/restrain. Also as wex pointed out, does a knockdown round count as knocking someone out?

"You're a piece of shit, I thought we were friends" OH MY GOD HAHAHA
  12. CeeFar

So just to clarify, restraining someone for the purpose of ticketing does NOT create a declaration? Also, is there any chance we could please get the system changed so we don't have to restrain them in the first place.

Because people have been told that "nuclear energy is bad" and associate the word nuclear with negative things, even though it's - Cost effective - For the most part environmentally friendly - only goes wrong if the people running the plant are absolute idiots (Or the plant was badly designed, see fukushima and chernobyl) Another good option is Natural Gas, which we have HUGE deposits of but are for the most part untapped (although chevron is working to change that)

I can see the helpdesk issue now. P = Police, S = Suspect, H = Helpdesk P: I turned my sirens on at peaches field! S: I didn't hear them. P: Yeah but I turned them on so therefore it's a dec H: S, He's not wrong. OR P: I turned my sirens on at peaches field! S: I didn't hear them H: If he didn't hear them the dec isn't valid. Instead of it being lights and sirens are a dec, if we really wanted something like this it should be RUNNING for x amount of time is a dec, say 20 seconds. This means police can still do traffic stops, but if you run and get shot as a result of it, it's your own fault. This also makes pursuits about 10x more dangerous for police, and will force officers to consider who and when they pursue. I also agree with @FarmerGeorge98 - you should NOT be shot whilst getting out of a vehicle after a chase unless prior declaration has been sent and you are not complying with the terms of it. If you have evidence of this occurring myself and the rest of the command team would love to see it so we can deal with it appropriately.

I played it once or twice so I don't really know what I'm doing but i'm re-downloading it now just to join hahah
  16. CeeFar

@Chris J. we use time as a reference as to who we are looking at for promotions, and yes it plays some part but in no way affects the final decision.
  17. CeeFar

Most civs wont complain if they get accidentally knocked down, when it happens I apologise to the civ and it's over and done with. players DO complain when they got shot by a cop for no reason, when talking about crossfire I thought it was already assumed we were talking about a situation where lethal force had been already legitimately reached.
  18. CeeFar

Also, to address this If I hear gunfire, I'm going to run, as I have one life and If i die, that's it. In AL - ooh gunfire, doesn't matter if I die, I can respawn and be back here in 5 minutes, so gunfire = run towards it. The crossfire exemption is good because we get idiots who run into firefights and it becomes genuinely difficult to distinguish who is a combatant and who isn't.

allow non paying players into the giveaway but donation gets you a good chance of winning?
  20. CeeFar

Whilst I understand a monthly donation for things like the Altis Life gang perks, I think that for I&A 1 month perks is a bit cheap. Permanent, even 3 months makes more sense, but as @Farqman has pointed out he has donated over 100 dollars and will have nothing to show for it.

You can't do vests/backpacks without mods unfortunately.
  22. CeeFar

I think it's an awesome feature. I always go with the motto "Abuse it you lose it". Give it a week or so letting players test out the system with no restrictions, and if it really is bad and you have frequent occurences of teamkilling with it then wind some restrictions in somehow.

Welcome mate :) We do things a bit differently around here so I encourage you to 1 - read the rules 2 - be patient as it might take some time to learn/understand the meta 3 - have fun :) See you around.

Looks good, maybe add another wall layer/make it look a bit beefier? If that was added, the breakout system was changed and there was a legal way to cut time off your sentence, I think we'd be golden.
