I currently run a RP company Royal Altis Traders "R.A.T" Hiring miners, buying commodities, and selling arms. Its so hard to run without the emails system of the old Altis as text messages do not save so when I have multiple people texting me I lose track of who said what. Please bring back an email system. As it is I end up using side chat more than I would like. A gumtree store outside of Sydney as well would be good. thx

Confirmed Crafting is still not working even with the use of a vehicle. Whatever material is in the vehicle is not registered as yours and it comes up as not enough material to craft that item. thx

Just thought I would start a thread where people can ask questions about anything to do with the New Altis update. It might save side channel & the shoutbox a little. So ask away. One from early today Q: Where do you get water from to fill a bucket. A: Little blue markers all over the map ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q: Is crafting possible ? (As I cannot hold all the material that I need to craft with a tier 3 or 4 Barrel)

Someone should do video's of the events would be cool to see what went on.

Storage box glitch Ok I have now lost 5x large storage boxes full of crafting stock Guns and gear. It all started two days ago in one of my big yellow houses when I tried moving a storage box. When I went to put it back down it would not let me it came up as “You cannot place any more storage containers in your house” even though it was already in the house I was just moving it and it only had one other in a big house. So I then tried to fit it into another house same thing. I went and purchased new storage boxes but the same message was coming up. So tonight I took the storage box that was still in the house that the problem started in and sold the house and got a new large yellow house. I then purchased 3 more large boxes and put all four in the new house thinking it all worked fine. How wrong I was all my other storage boxes all 5x in my other 3x houses disappeared and they all were full of guns, gear and processed stuff for crafting. I then went to buy new storage boxes to put them back into the houses but I am back with the same message it comes up as “You cannot place any more storage containers in your house” but these houses do not have any in them anymore. Please look into it as its a major piss off. form also sent UPDATE: Fixed with the help of the guys in help desk. Had to sell all my 5x houses and start again some twice. So far I have three houses with full storage boxes and no problems. So no idea what it was maybe just a glitch but I know won't be moving a storage box again that's for sure. thx

Shit I mssed it.

It does not let you move a container. i just filled in one of the bug forms but this is what happens. If you go to move one in your house it will not let you put it down again anywhere even in the same spot as it comes up with You cannot place any more storage container in your house. I tried putting it in other houses but the same comes up so the problem is linked to the storage I would think. I would just like to add that I only had 2x storage in a large 4x house. I should have tried buying a new one and seeing if that would work ? Next time on I will. thx

Hi Guys Just wanting to know if my insight into houses being broken into is right.So if I am not online people can still break in my blue door and steal anything stored in that area but cannot Break open a white door because I am not online is that right? If I have an alarm system and I am online will I get a warning one of my houses is being robbed? Thx Rat

Thank guys I just wanted to know how it all works so I can put my storage boxes in the right places. Looks like I was given the wrong info about the blue doors being broken into when offline. Now that you cannot store in your trucks I think house break-ins could rise which just adds another element to the whole RP (good thing). Its good that there seems to be more cops these days. Can you move a storage box once its already been placed ?

Got bored last night wife was away so the boy will play. Grabbed one of my 22LR’s the one with a night scope fitted popped open my lounge room window and took out some pest on my front lawn for a few hours. Looking after my native mates. With no light to spook them after you take a shot they scatter but always come back. If I use a spot light they are gone for the night after one kill. 4 shots 4 kills From this window Outside the window

Where's down there? I like using the 222 for foxes. Only got the one here so far. I have one hanging around now got him on my trail cam the other day. I think it was him who killed a sugar glider the other day as I found a tail. It was him or an owl I am blaming him as I see them all the time running from bush to bush (bottle brush is not high enough to glid) Very smart he won't come to the whistle i have just started putting food out for him he goes close but so far will not take it. I want him to get used to coming at night for a feed so one night I can put a bullet in his head.

Who would like to see these unrealistic brightly coloured vehicles and air vehicles gone from Altis life ? They make me want to spew it’s a realistic RP game but people drive around in fluoro coloured vehicle making it look like a cartoon. The best thing about ARMA is how realistic the game looks. Then you see these ugly things driving and flying around please. Let’s see what you guys think and if most see it the same way maybe we can have them removed.

WOW that little guy is nuts give him a metal. Sadly the truth is if I don't keep on top of them early they dig burrows bread and then die a slow death from myxomatosis as they get older or get poisoned. Last year one burrowed and nested right under the foundations of my house. Also if their numbers get too high my neighbours put baits out and that also kills natives mainly possums. I have only lived down here (far south coast NSW) for almost 3yrs now and have managed to prevent the use of baits with my 22's. Lived in Sydney all my life so happy I am out of that rat race the traffic was a joke.

The reason I started this thread was the number of fluro vehicles I was seeing in the new Altis but I now know why (THANK GOD) I was thinking I was playing Super Mario. But in saying that for future donor vehicles why not other some cool camo vehicles much more realistic and more in ARMA standard ? The standard vehicles could be like they were in the old Altis life plane flat military colours like the Hemtt/box & Huron and donor vehicles could be in cool camo colours like the Mi-290 I purchased last night. Hi Guys Its my CZ455 taticool 22LR with short 20" barrel. Its very accurate the rabbits were all head shots at 50 meters. Its only a low-end night scope with a modified lens works great the poor rabbits they do not see it coming. I like hunting with this scope on a full moon or close to it as I do not need a light for me to see where I am going so with no lights at all the game have no idea they are being hunted. Zorgain: Its all over fast for them much better than when they get that myxomatosis. They also dig holes in my lawn which shits me. I just like to say I do not take killing animals lightly the main goal it to end it fast for them. If it's not right I will not take the shot. I also only hunt non-native animals Cats, Rabbits and foxes mainly around here. No so many cats but I have seen one that I am always looking for but have never filmed it on my trail cam. nclemas: As above its a 22LR bullet I have a few guns but my 22LR's are my go to guns on my property. I sold all my big stuff as I just did not use them enough. I only have a few 22LR''s a double barrel 12g shot gun and also a Airforce condor PCP airgun. The PCP airgun is so powerfull its louder than the 22LR. I have my eye on the new FX impact nice PCP air gun but at close to $3000 my wife is not that keen. The second two pics are my PWS T3 straight pull also 22LR, 30 round mag with a new Vortex Spitfire 4x red dot style scope real fun gun for just about everything. Its the go to gun when friends want to shot a few targets.

For RP reasons it would be much better to have a market value on commodities. Example I want to buy copper ingot from civ's at double market value. It would be so much better if both parties can see its value. Had a problem that a civ did not believe my price was double ended up with no deal. thx

I would like to add it would be a good idea if you can put a notice on the old server that there is a new server. Its happened twice now that people are on the server thinking straya Altis gaming is over not knowing there is a new server. These people could be lost.

What was not working ? You have supplied nothing for them to fix. More info! Did you fill in one of these forums https://strayagaming.com.au/forums/topic/8767-altis-life-rebuild-bug-reports/ I did a copper run last night had no problems with the run. We are all going to have to chip in a bit more to get Altis back up to a high standard again. So note any problems and fill in a bug report. These dev guys do all the work in there spare time so lets try and make it a bit easier on them by reporting problems. cheers

One would think RP would also imitate real life to a degree. In real life oversupply of any commodity drops the price.

Yuri That’s the best example I have read so far and clears up a few things I was not aware off. So may I suggest a few things? 1. Close the old server. But have a date so people can sell their houses and rap things up before it goes. 2. Speed up the Transfers Most of the people I know on Altis are still waiting to be transferred and cannot give feedback until they have their Money and vehicles and start playing. thx
