Well lets look at this in a simple way. We have the original server unplayable because you cannot buy any new vehicles. We have a new server that sounds like it was not ready yet with too many problems. A no brainer fix for now would be easy. Fix the new vehicle spawn problem so we can still play Altis. Shutdown the new one untill its ready. Compensate losses on the new server. The longer this goes on the more people we will lose.

This is in the wrong spot. Also there is no diamond mime anymore.

If possible can you do Gametracker for it ?

Just a few things Cannot find Diamond mine ? The vehicle & air spawn at Melbourne taxi with the little safe zone is that going back in ? Is there no more mining licenses ? Is there no more market value for the price of goods like diamonds , salt, weed and so on ? I think how the price fluctuates with whats been sold is a good thing and should stay.

I just like to say whatever you guys do maybe run the game as a beta for a while. When it all seems good have a date & time that the game will be officially released. Nothing worse than starting your new life on Altis buying houses, garages and vehicles only to have it all wiped and start over again because too many things did not work out. Also it’s not that broken it’s still a great game as it is. So I would hate to see too many changes ruin the game. And a big thanks to all the guys putting in all the hours of hard work with the update.

When I first started on Altis it was AInc that showed me the ropes helped me by buying me licenses and giving me jobs. I think it was a big loss for Altis when AInc left. Massive in balance as rebel activity went through the roof. I started RAT logistics to try and help new people to Altis by giving them a job to get some money saved. With 4x hem/box trucks I hire new people to drive. Each truck has all the gear they need backpack, Picks, tool kit, health packs and so on. I pay for their license and run security. It was working good we all were making a bit, having fun getting robbed sometimes and killing the odd rebel trying to rob us. But lately its just too one sided with no support losing trucks kidneys and all the gear just about every run I have stopped hiring and helping new guys and just do my own thing these days. There is just so many large rebel gangs these days with no real deterrent the general civ has no hope. So I would just love to see a group like AInc back on Altis "YES PLEASE"

I just read all the rules and I am still not 100% sure. Well it sounds like you still need to dec on a robber which I feel is wrong. Scenario! I meet up with another civilian and we start mining together but are not in a group. We take turns one mines while the other stays guard say in a sniping position some 500m away. If rebels turn up and dec they are robbing than it should be clear for the guarding player to KOS as they are instigating the hostile RP and normally will outnumber the civilians mining or processing so declaring would highly likely end in the death of them both. So do you still need to dec under the currant rules in that scenario ? I feel we should not need to dec in that sort of scenario? Ok let me have it.

They should update this a bit better as on team speak it still has it listed in the help desk as "Do not put a claim in as yet we will get back to you" The same goes for the announcement on this forum about the Vehicle wipe it states "we are working on a fix either its comp or some sort of fix, please keep an eye on this forum to the update" I have not been playing on Altis because I have been waiting on whats going to happen it was no use starting over only to find it could be rolled back. Maybe I have missed an announcement but I don't think so. So looks like its claim time thanks for the news.

Hi guys Is there a way you can have a set of common used messages pre-set ? For the use of RP purposes in side chat? Like giving warnings and so on without having to type them out instead just pressing one button.

The AInc guys have been missed big time. The balance is now way out of wack with way more bad guys than good. I think if they were not here when I first started I would not still be here. They helped me big time buying me licenses and showing me how it all works. I helped a kid the other day with a driving job who was just about to give the Altis server a miss as he said its to hard to get started being robbed every time he tried to make some money. Just hope a new Robbin hood type clan starts up and fills the spot with the same great RP style of looking after the civilians. Its becoming almost impossible to be a civilian and do runs these days with out being robbed. With everybody just robbing, steeling & killing and not much other RP the game is sort of losing some of its charm.

Do I need to register for a unit with arma.com ? I used arma I think I followed the video before on youtube I found this thread
