    Change CAS to an armed blackfish, or Blackfoot. I think this map is suited for helicopters more so than jets.

    You can’t deny that they don’t have a variety of assets though. RHS is better by far.

    I only got 5 mins to play due to other commitments but loving the server. The three capture zones is great to get people working as a team. Makes for some interesting fire fights. The random generated missions are a great idea too. Jungle warfare as expected is hard. Gives the game a different dimension. I think it will stop everyone grabbing long range rifles with large scopes. More close quarters stuff with the enemy. I just feel like this will be a completely different server, with a rethink of tactics. Exactly what the community needs. Also creates issues with UAV. Can't just fly over to an AO and spot everything because the canopy of trees conceals heat signatures. Great to see the rappel out of chopper is still around. Again, adds another element. I know it's early days and there will be a few bugs that will no doubt be slowly ironed out. But overall I think this will be an awesome server and hope it sticks around for some time to come. Huge thanks to Quicksilver, Fitz and the entire Strayagaming development team. Look forward to playing it tomorrow in greater depth.

    I tried this on my system. I have a 6700k @4.6ghz, 32gb Ram and 1080ti’s in SLI. Arma doesn’t play nice with SLI as PIP has flickering which is annoying. Normally I just run it on a single card. i set the second card to be dedicated PhysX and I didn’t notice any difference, I did however suffer s few game crashes. Can’t remember exactly, but I think it was Access Violations....I think...

    I spend ages sitting on the tarmac with the vehicle blackfish now....tell people in side chat to grab a vehicle and ill drop them in. Never happens... Or on the other hand I got UAV operator and no one is using the blackfish and I cant get my Stomper dropped in...Cant win either way!

    Just have a couple of questions about the Main AO and side missions. In regards to the Main AO, is there currently any plans to change the format? Currently it is three objectives. Destroy the radio tower, take HQ and clear the area. Occasionally we also get the odd defend here and there. I was curious about the possibility of adding or changing objectives randomly within the AO. Similar to a side mission, add in an anti air battery, artillery outpost or perhaps a helicopter landing pad where you have to destroy a fuel/ammo station? Just seeking something different that keeps troops moving. Currently the majority of players take HQ and just camp there until the AO finishes once the tower is destroyed, which is usually done by someone rushing into AO with a car. side Missions... Currently we are rewarded for completing them, but is there any action if we fail? Just an idea, if we fail a side mission, have a couple of Tigs spawn outside of an AO at random position on the map, or a couple of armed helicopters spawn. Transport helicopter flies to AO, next thing they are targeted out of the blue and CAS/Armour/UAV has to go eliminate them? As it stands once an AO has spawned, anti air is taken out immediately. If anti air isn’t your thing, maybe a tank platoon? 4 MBT head for Main AO? just a suggestion.

    Don't get me wrong. I "understand" the challenge trying to keep the server balanced. More AI means less FPS More armour is good when CAS is up, but a huge challenge for troops and air transport if it is shot down. Then you have to take into consideration times when there is only 10 people on the server.

    I seen the devlog posted on the 22nd I think it was that there is an update coming. Just throwing out some ideas. You could also link success/failure of side missions to correlate to the size of the next AO? No idea how you would code that though. Can't wait to see what is in store for us.

    Also, currently we have the Helicopter side mission. Is it possible to make this spawn at one of the smaller airfields, or salt flat? Make it a bit more heavily guarded and fortified? Or would this kill FPS too much?

    I play a few Semi Milsim servers with a couple of clans. Things like hearts and minds, insurgency, zues, user made mission. Small groups of 10-20 people. Standard modset is RHS, ACE, TFAR, Enhanced Movement, Shacktac, etc. I play with the guys from Combat Orientated Gamers, Task force Raven Fire, 101stChairbourne and the occasional mission with Btac. CoG has been a bit quiet lately with no new H&M server, I&A is perfect during the day.

    Just be aware you have to set it up on a "user custom action" I made the keybind left shift + spacebar.

    We use enhanced movement on our clan servers with zero issues. It's part of our standard modset

    Yes but no... IRL soldiers often scale walls? Enhanced movement will only let you climb up to a certain height
