    Hey all,

Im getting a new XPS 13 9360 soon, as it is a very portable laptop. But can it run Arma 3 and provide a enjoyable experience without stability issues?

I do have a desktop PC which I do use a lot, just getting a laptop to stay connected when i'm overseas and whatnot.

    Thanks,

    Slep.

It uses Intel graphics, so an enjoyable experience probably won't be possible even with the i7 model. Its resolution is also QHD+, so you would probably be getting around 10FPS unless you downscale to 720p.

Generally, low profile laptops aren't intended for gaming and if they are, you will be spending upwards of 2K. So only get this if gaming isn't that important, you'll be able to run CS:GO fine, but Arma 3 will struggle with FPS.

  2. 1. A

    2. C

    3. E (Holding entrance points, stopping police from entering the bank)

    4. C

    5. E (Doesn't matter, all banks should be different, the player should be able to learn the benefits of defender/attacking each bank. For example, if the banks in a low area, surrounded by high surroundings, stick to cover. Having different surroundings for each bank is good.)

    - Bring Neri back, or at least a similar water bank.

    - Make sure teller is protected from snipers and can't just get picked off.

    - Surrounding buildings are available and a lot of cover.

    - Teller is deep in the bank and not just at the front door. (Allows combat within the bank).

    - All banks are different and have advantages/disadvantages.

  3. This reduced Fortnite from 15GB to 900MB & made Arma 3 7GB smaller

    1. Download CompactGUI: https://github.com/ImminentFate/CompactGUI/releases
    2. Open it & select the file/program/game you with to make smaller
    3. Select 'XPRESS16K'
    4. Make sure 'Compress files in subfolder as well' is selected
    5. Click compress and enjoy the free extra space

    Pros/Cons
    + More space
    + Faster loading times
    - You need Windows 10

Basically this program expands on Windows 10 built in compression feature, it compresses the program and then only compresses files as needed on the fly. No performance is lost, instead your game might launch a bit faster due to the compression. I made a video guide on this if anyone's interested, going more into the details and it can be also applied to almost all application and games. I did this with Fortnite and went form 15GB to 900MB, however different programs compress differently.

  4. Had cops do the same to me today!

I had two hostages, they came in to vs 18 rebels, when we asked for them to leave or the hostages would die they didn't even care. They shot at us, without even caring about 'we will kill the hostages'. Honestly they just care about frags...

  5. I'm buying CSGO keys for $2USD Paypal, if you have some keys you want to cash in, send me a PM and I'll get back to you.

Seller goes first in trade, unless they have more reputation then me.

Is there's a difference between the Antek and corsair cooler?

I'd say Corsair coolers are more reliable than Antek and have a lower leak rate.

By the way, i5 is still a good choice.

  7. Should work fine, if you have the money I'd really suggest getting a zen CPU (good budget i7). Great for multimedia projects and games like Arma.

Also Corsair coolers are the way to go with closed loops. I'd suggest the H60 for this budget range.

Stay to what you think is right, as if I or anyone else was to make a PC in this price area, it could end up completely different.

Make sure to add these parts to PC part picker before buying them, as its normally great for checking part compatibility.
