Thank-you for taking the time to adress the issue in an articulate way, as connor has said he adjusted the values, however I'm happy to adjust them into the future more if people's feedback suggests it's preferred. Anyone can feel free to contact me on ts in the event they wish to make a suggestion, or post in the wl suggestions section or message me on the forums.

The inbuilt functions called are english yes, because they are standardized. However every variable name, comment ect is in french. Makes the code rather unreadable when everything needed to read the code intuitively is in another language A small sample of the misery

Clubs/Game Hubs Today you may notice a new section near the top of the forums featuring a number of clubs for a variety of different games. This change is designed to allow for the existence of clubs/forum areas dedicated to specific games that member of our community enjoy and wish to discuss/play together. These clubs can have dedicated sections for different uses, and allow the appointment of users as local moderators within the club,. This facilitates small self moderating communities of people who enjoy each game, enabling them to discuss and engage with each other and the community as a whole. Each of these clubs is also able to have a club specific calendar for organizing events, be it partying in game, hosting in houses for fun or anything else you can think of! We hope that this will allow our community to thrive and mean that you guys can always have a place to come together with all the member of our community that share your passion for a specific game! So please, if you see a club that interest you do join and participate, they are there for everyone to enjoy! If you have any suggestions for other games that don't currently have a club but do have a following/playerbase within our community feel free to let me know and I can add them. Alternatively feel free to reply to this post with suggestions. Wasteland Stratis Version 3.2.0 TRIAL This patch we are trying a headless client on the server to see if it can alleviate our performance issues, in particular will are now trialling using the headless client to run the AI to see how it effects server and client FPS. Please hop on the server and let me know if you notice any performance improvement and report any bug you find. Also please report if the AI behave in any form of buggy way compared to normal. I agree, this is unacceptable, the fact that i told fitz about this LITERALLY GAMEBREAKING issue and he hasnt fixed it already means that he is refusing to fix the server and is expendable. He must be fired IMMEDIATELY. Or replaced by someone else because he clearly cant do the job

Wasteland Stratis Version 3.1.0 MINI UPDATE By Popular Demand this patch is simply a push of map fixes sans any new feature content slated for next patch. Development General Changes - Added - A couple of buildings to central Tweak - Moved airfield plane spawn Tweak - Made some terrain/props surrounding airfield gunstore indestructible Tweak - Modified simulation state of several objects to reduce simulation load Deleted - Several Floating props (notably LZ Baldy but a few others as well) Deleted - Several Incorrectly positioned hideTerrainObject markers.

So deleting a couple of crates and helmets/removing extraneous rocks = Deleting the whole mission file? And because no-one does that and if they do to the point they cause lag I would delete them. But it doesnt happen because in practise people dont do it. but if you want proof of the lag 900 phys simulated crates causes i can show you someday

I took the one i was provided and edited it in eden, i dont know where you're getting your information from but either you misunderstood or someone is lying to you... I was permitted to start again from scratch but i chose not to to try and keep as many of Dak's changes as i could jutify

Hey, I appreciate the criticism and I definitely hear what you're saying however you need to take into account a plethora of factors that affect the playerbase when making bold claims about the effect issues have on the server. Notably this is end of semester/year exam and as such is a major assignment period for a large fraction of people myself included which means people naturally have less time to play, we can consider the server's performance more accurately by waiting until the holidays are on and people have more time to play. Also i would point out that a year ago you were still on your 9 year ban so you could not have known the state of the server in any detail i should think. What i do at uni requires a lot of time and concentration and coupled with IRL work and a bunch of other miscellaneous jobs within the community I've been working on for different people I haven't had as much time left over for WL dev recently as I would like. For this I do apologize however as you can appreciate my real life commitments must come first. It does not mean I am "refusing to fix the server" as you claim people believe, it simply means that I have a lot to do and have to prioritize my time, and unfloating a couple of props is not high on my list in terms of time to payoff ratio. Never once have i whinged at any constructive/accurate bug report or claimed that fixing bugs induces lag??? I dont see where you got this impression from. Having 1000 more live objects on the map is not a "bug fix" nor is removing non essential ones a bug. Floating objects or buildings missing is soemthing that is an issue/I do try to correct but you need to learn the fundamental distinction between a design/optimization decisions and a bug. I'm not saying all the objects was bricking the server, but having all those objects certainly didnt help on top of the horrible back end i'm trying to build off of and all of the AI induced issues. And while trying to make performance improvements I have been cutting out anything that is not functional/essential, both in the code and the map. As for the couple of significant issues with the map I have already corrected them but have been working on a bunch of other code changes in the back end to try and squeeze out some more performance and improve gameplay and have been waiting to apply the map fixes when i finish the rest of what i'm working on. To directly adress your issues; Spawn location of vehicles needs to be invincible - Not happening, would be abused. also consider what happens if you spawn multiple vehicles. Screwed over vehicle spawning when purchasing vehicles. - I have not moved/modified any vehicle spawns There are still issues with the vehicle storage system due to the fact you haven't made it automatically force save vehicles upon storing them resulting in them despawning in the vehicle storage on restart. - Interesting theory but i already tested this idea when someone told me and it is not the cause of the issue despite what you may have convinced yourself. Furthermore the issue with the storage system has existed since our move to 1.3 and is an issues with base wasteland, not anything I have done, and the cause has been eluding me Once I've finished uni for the semester in a couple of weeks i'll have 3months holiday where i'll have far more time to commit to server related development/experience improvement. Connor and I also have plans to attempt using a headless client to offload AI processing; since that accounts for a large performance drain on the server and coupled with the general poor writing of the underlying wasteland mission file it end up amounting to a lot of load on the server which also impacts client performance. You can work towards it, you just need to stop thinking of the skins as your right and instead think of them as a reward for commitment to the server, and for being a member of the server's community that the staff see putting effort into being a good influence on the server

Initially we are going to run a light vehicles/infantry only modded WL on the Utes Map. We may be exploring additional mod maps like Cherno afterward.
