Hours Played as Pub Slot before placing this application (minimum 15 Hours):
Recently, I’ve probably gained a couple of hours on my belt as an ‘ol pub slot, but I’ve also played as a pub cop during early – mid 2017, aswell as April and May of this year. So I’d say around 50 – 70 hours, maybe more.
Hours on Arma 3:

Why do you want to join the Altis Police Department (100 words min)?:
Well, I’ve mentioned in my past application(s) that I think playing as an Officer on a roleplay server is, well, for a lack of a better word, “unique.” I find it very intriguing the way people can play and how people interact with others when placed in a role that is as integral as law enforcement. I myself enjoy playing as a police officer, and I think that’s the predominate reason – it’s enjoyable. I think following protocol, having a chain of command and abiding by laws and enforcing those laws is an excellent change of pace as I have mainly played civ through the duration of my days in any roleplay community. You still do have rules as a civilian, sure, but being a police officer opens up a whole different range of methods and procedures, and I find that quite cool. It’s definitely not for everybody, but I’m willing to go forward into the police force with a positive and inquisitive mindset. Anyway, pretty much, I just want to join because I feel that upholding the law and dishing out punishment to criminals that deserve it would be a good change for me and it’d be nice to put some of this police roleplay under my belt.
If you are successful; where do you see yourself in 3 months in the APD (50 words min)?:
I’m not really sure, I don’t really see myself going anywhere in the APD. Of course, I will go somewhere, but I’m not sure where that somewhere is. I’ve heard things whilst communicating with other officers while on general duty in the communications. Some people have been constable for months, and I found that quite surprising, and made me ponder into where they thought they would be, and if it matched their expectations. My vision of myself in the future isn’t clear, but I envision that there is a lot of mutual respect between me and the police force, I don’t really care about what rank I attain, but my image as a person. I just hope I’m good enough to serve everyone’s expectations, and that way, in 3 months, hopefully I am a known – and respected - person within the force.
What do you believe you can bring to the Altis Police Department (50 words min)?:
Hopefully I can be some sort of friendly consultant or a guy that you can talk to. I also think I can potentially bring some more light into the daily lives of people that play as a police officer, but I don’t think that’s really something that is needed, as I think most of the police community is alright. I’ve met some chill and nice lads while playing (Farmergeroge, Sir Harry, Jdawgz, Spagoo, Joshie, Smif, and many, many more) that I believe do the same thing I mentioned here. Anyway, hopefully I can just be someone to talk to, someone to confide in, someone to patrol with, hell, even someone to laugh with.
(Pretty much, I think I can bring some happiness and comfort to the APD.)
Do you have any experience as a Police Officers from other servers?
Yeah. I’ve played on multiple different ones as a cop - KiwiLife, The Fallen Order, NekLevel, ItzMalden.
Other than Police, what previous role play scenarios have you been a part of on Straya-Gaming?:
Well, I’ve murdered people, shot people, became a kidnapper, got kidnapped after that, gotten into a few persuits with the cops (don’t know if that counts as police) aswell as pullovers. I’ve also been involved in gang activities and hostage situations, which I found hilarious, anyway, all in good fun. Hopefully I can get into some more roleplay shenanigans as I spend my time here.
How much time can you dedicate to the Altis Police Department?:
I’m not entirely sure. I can spend up to 3 – 4 hours most of the time, but sometimes I can go longer (such as 5 – 6) when holidays or the weekend come around, so yeah. During school though, I do have stuff to do and if it comes down to it, I’m going to have to prioritize my real life over ticketing someone for speeding in a video game – just a heads up if my activity seems a bit shaky.
Have you ever been banned, kicked or watchlisted from Altis Life at any stage? If so when and why:
Nah. I don’t think so. If I have, it was pretty long ago. I think I’ve only really been kicked by battle-eye because it didn’t load correctly, or my frames were dropping so low, the game booted me out of the server.
Have you read and understood the Altis Life Server Rules?: (Y/N)
Have you read and understood the Altis Police Department Protocols?: (Y/N)
By submitting this application you agree to the limitations of being a Probationary Constable that is set above: (Y/N)
Do you acknowledge that by partaking in illegal or 'Rebel' activities you do not have the right to apply for Police Divisions within the APD such as S.R.T., Detectives, PolAir and Police Academy or promotion to or past Senior Sergeant: (Y/N)
Thanks for reading my application, and I know it seems pretty lazily written, but I really did put some effort into writing this, so if you thought this was quite unprofessional – you’re not wrong, but atleast now you know the true intention behind it. Anyway, stay chill.
