The Ode of Remembrance

Recommended Posts

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,
We remember them.

Anzac troops return to Gallipoli by picket boat after a period of rest and reorganisation on the Greek island of Lemnos(Altis in Arma 3). After the battles at Chunuk Bair and Hill 60, the New Zealand infantry and mounted rifles were sent to Lemnos in mid-September 1915 to rest and receive reinforcements from Egypt. They spent seven weeks at Sarpi Camp, near the village of Mudros (now Moudros), before returning to Gallipoli in early November.

It's definitely a photo, it was resourced from the National Archives. Gotta remember how shit the cameras were back in 191520160425094314_1.jpg

Won't let me post without this photo for some reason
