Fedora has shown great dedication to the Altis Police Department. He follows protocols, leads operations in an effective manner, and always strives to make the best out of any situation. He is also a very approachable person, which I think is an important quality to have as a command member. I highly recommend Fedora for a promotion to Inspector +1

You'll also need to craft it at the steel mill, but the license for it is a bit broken atm, so you'll need to pay 20k to process it each time. It should be fixed in the next bug fix.

If you do not supply two referrals and they cannot be confirmed your application will be denied. (@their name) Referral One: @JoshieYeezy Referral Two: @Sterling Induction Training Completed By (Must have been completed no more than 30 days ago): @Weaver Questionnaire: - Why do you want to join the Altis Police Department (100 words minimum)?: I wish to join the Altis Police Department for a variety of reasons. Firstly, I want to ensure the safety of all citizens of Altis by minimising the amount of crime being committed and ensuring justice is brought. Secondly, I have always admired the structure the APD has, I wish to climb up the ranks so I can maximise my ability to protect innocent civilians and to ensure Altis is rid of any crime or illegal activity. Thirdly, I wish to have more interaction with the community by engaging in more roleplay and combat scenarios. Lastly, I wish to bring another friendly face to the team and attempt to improve the APD by bringing my skills to the police force and also learning some new skills from others along the way. If you are successful; where do you see yourself in 3 months in the APD (50 words minimum)?: If I am successful in this application process and earn a spot in the Altis Police Department, I see myself climbing the ranks and learning new skills as I progress throughout my time in the force. I see myself reaching Sergeant once again by putting in the hard work to prove that I am an ideal candidate for the APD. I might also attempt to join SRT if I am successful in GD and prove myself to be a great police officer. What do you believe you can bring to the Altis Police Department (50 words minimum)?: I believe I can bring a familiar and friendly face to the APD, I will prove to be a great police officer who always follows protocols and gives my 110% in all situations that arise. Over my time playing police in the past, and as a rebel, I have picked up many skills and knowledge in combat, and have learnt how to deal with a variety of different situations such as Sydney being out of control, bank robberies, capture point fights, high speed pursuits and others. I know I can be a great asset to the APD and I wish to have the opportunity to prove that. Do you have any experience as a Police Officers from other servers?: Strayagaming Altis Life is the only roleplay server which I have played on a regular basis, so I do not have experience from other servers. I do however have experience being a Police Officer on straya, I reached Senior Sergeant in GD, and had several roles in SRT such as Heavy, Sharpshooter and Team Leader. Other than Police, what previous role play scenarios have you been a part of on Straya-Gaming?: Most of my scenarios have been on rebel, where I have taken part in rebel takeovers, many bank robberies, hostage situations, high speed pursuits, shootouts in Sydney, and drug dealing. How much time can you dedicate to the Altis Police Department?: As I also play on rebel, I will attempt to equally distribute my time to both factions. I can hop on every day, as I have recently finished school and have a lot of free time on my hands, meaning I have very flexible with my hours. Have you ever been banned, kicked or watchlisted from Altis Life at any stage? If so when and why: I was only banned once when I was a cop, however, when I left cop a year ago, I started to become slack in following the rules, which resulted in a series of bans, you can ask a moderator to check this as I cannot remember them all. Conclusion: - Have you read and understood the Altis Life Server Rules?: Yes Have you read and understood the Altis Police Department Protocols?: Yes By submitting this application you agree to the limitations of being a Probationary Constable that is set above: Yes Do you acknowledge that by partaking in illegal or 'Rebel' activities you do not have the right to apply for Police Divisions within the APD such as S.R.T, Criminal Investigations Unit or be promoted past Senior Sergeant: Yes

Regular Player Name (Which you are most known for): Kmart ArmA 3 UID/Steam64ID: 76561198440063733 Why should you be unbanned before the seven days: I should be unbanned because this was my first offense that involved exploiting. I have had my ban of 1 month, and have had other punishments such as a player wipe. I have truly learnt my lesson and I will never dupe or exploit again. I had duped so I did not have to buy items so I could save money, this was wrong of me and I should have used my hard earnt cash to buy those items instead of duping them. I hope to have 1 more chance at the server and prove that I can be a good community member, follow the rules and respect my fellow gamers. Why should the community trust this apology, given that you were lying and/or being deceptive when being questioned (Only applicable if you were lying/being deceptive - I will tell you if this was the case): The community should trust this apology because I have been very open and honest about my situation. I have played on this server since 2018 and I have always followed the rules and respected other players until recently. I promise my actions will change and I honestly regret doing what I did. I am truly sorry for what I did, and I promise I will never be involved in such exploits ever again. I hope you can forgive me

Cop guns are too expensive? You guys have the cheapest gear on the server. 200k for a gearset is not bad at all, not sure what the current prices are but if you're saying its 200k then its no different from what it used to be when I played cop, 200k for a bank gearset is not bad at all. Plus if you kill rebels then you should be getting the bounties anyway, and I'm sure not every rebel combat logs. Epis shouldn't be cheap, you shouldn't be able to revive someone for a cheap price. As for money, you can do GD and get bounties from there, you have ops where you can kill rebels for bounties as well, you got civ where you can do gem/drug runs for money. Plus you got the money cap which was raised so you can save up even more cash. You can always buy cheaper loadouts as well, don't always need to buy the most expensive and powerful gun in your shop. When I was a cop I never ran out of money, I don't understand why you're complaining about money cuz gearsets rlly don't cost that much for cops.

I was always willing to do trainings. When I was Senior Sergeant/Sergeant, I was always willing to do trainings for ranks below me. I always did my best to help recruits learn the ropes of being a cop and I wish to return to a position in GD where I am able to help lower ranks and the APD as a whole. I was in SRT for a year, where mostly everything was combat. This time, I wish to come back and be GD once again, I hope to return to GD sergeant again and help out where I can. I am placing this app in once again because my last one did not get replied to due to a miscommunication. When was the last time you played consistently on Cop?: January Are you up to date with the new Police Protocols?: Yes How much time can you dedicate to the Altis Police Department?: A few hours each week If you were demoted for any reason other than Inactivity, you are required to have at least two referrals from a Sergeant or above. I hate typing up these essays but here I go anyway Communication is a big one. For a long time now, staff have left the community in the dark. I'm not sure how things are on other servers like wasteland/I&A/and the other games like SE and rust which straya run. But with Alits Life, its as if staff just don't want to communicate. But, I have seen a slight improvement on this in the past few days. Myself and a few other guys have been using community lounge lately, and often some AL staff would come down and chat, and they gave us info on things regarding the update, which was good. I personally would like to see more of that. But if I were to do it, instead of only coming on TS for it, I would prefer if staff did forum posts. A forum post that says around when to expect an update, for example - In May expect an update. And also hyping the community up about it. Maybe start doing more update videos like they did with one of the update last year, that was good. I understand sometimes its hard to give a time on an update, because staff cant focus on things like that 24/7, because of IRL things, and that's understandable. But I don't think it would hurt if a staff member just made a quick forum post which would say "yeah were working on an update, were currently looking into adding this content". I don't expect staff to give an exact date on an update, but just knowing that something is being worked on, is nice to know. But yeah more communication would be good, and keeping it consistent as well. Lack of players. Yeah this has been an issue for quite some time now. Unfortunately a very large chunk of the community have left over the past few months. The community right now basically consists of 2 small syd gangs, and 4 - 6 cops. With these numbers, all that's been happening is a quick and boring game of cops vs robbers in Sydney. Now I believe there's many different issues for the lack of players. No enjoyable content for civs/rebels, lack of updates/communication, no end goal for rebels, some cases where people get banned for the smallest rule breaks, people breaking rules and getting themselves banned, people going up to HD every second to get people banned, no enjoyable combat/rp for rebels/civs. And I'm sure there's heaps more, because if you've played this server long enough, you'll know its had and still has lots of issues. If I were to suggest anything to fix it, I would say start with releasing this new update ASAP, and then staff need to establish certain routines. Start with a post that asks for suggestions from the community. Then gather a list of a few of those suggestions, and make a poll for it. See what the community wants. Polls have been done before and they worked quite well. Letting the community as a whole decide what to put in, is good. Yes there will be some suggestions not everyone will agree on. But from the way I see it, as long as your giving content to all factions, then it should work. Give rebels their content for combat, and give civs their content for their rp, same with cops and medics. There's so much that can be added, and people can come up with some great ideas, so actively listening to the community's requests and suggestions is a really good start. Those polls should be done at least 2-3 times each month. Doesn't have to be an update every 2-3 weeks, but having regular polls is good, so staff can get a good idea of what everyone wants. I understand sometimes updates cant be done in certain time periods cause of certain reasons staff may have, and that's understandable, but It doesn't take long to read some suggestions, and make a poll for. Its a nice quick way of getting suggestions for a future update. These sorts of posts come up every year. There's always a stage where the player base goes down. But this round has been one of the worst from what I know. Unfortunately most people have given up on the server, which I can understand, I've been tempted to do the same. But I don't want the server to shut down, because it used to be a great server, and I would like to continue playing on it when I do have some spare time. But there needs to be some serious changes, if the server is going to survive. So I hope staff take these suggestions into consideration, and make use of it.

It doesn't matter if the player base is low or if it is high. I've seen staff in the past who take a much better approach to dealing with rule breakers. In my opinion, the best way to deal with minor rule breaks like rdm, vdm, fail rp and all that other shit, is to get the 2 players to talk and make one comp the other, or lets say if someone is constantly vdming, then a mod can just vipe some vehicles from their garage. There's always another approach instead of just banning people straight out. Don't get me wrong, if someone is cheating or hacking, that should definitely be a bannable offense. But rule breaks like rdm, vdm, vlr and fail rp can all be dealt with another way. The problem is, banning people doesn't stop the person from breaking rules. Most civs/rebels don't care enough to walk on egg shells trying to not break rules, cuz they realise it's just a game and a ban literally just gives that player a nice break. Banning only affects people like cops cuz they can lose their ranks or whitelisting. As for your comment on James and management, I agree on that.
-
Even if the current staff DO try and improve it, they'll just **** it up even more. They think their events will help, and they don't even tryy and keep the player base. They're itching to ban people instead of using other methods like forcing that player comp the other player. Or using other creative methods. People get fat bans just for killing a stupid medic, it's retarded.
