    Hey everyone just letting yas know we have updated the forums so you will have to bare with the new skin which is default until we change a few things here is a list of the updates for anyone who wishes to know what is changed. Thanks all. A new update is available! Version 4.1.2 of the IPS Community Suite is now available. This is a maintenance release to fix common issues reported in 4.1.1. Some specifics include: • Some clients report errors creating a new forum or member group • Missing profile photos fixed • More compatibility for auto-upgrader on different zip libraries • Faster fetching of AWS S3 file sizes Version 4.1.1 of the IPS Community Suite is now available. This is a maintenance release to fix common issues reported by clients in 4.1.0. A change has been made to the theme system so themes with out of date templates do not result in a fatal error in most cases. Instead, you will see a notice explaining which templates are out of date and causing problems. You can choose to either fix/revert those specific templates or create a default theme to use temporarily while you work on your custom theme. Version 4.1.0 of the IPS Community Suite is now available. The next major release for IPS Community Suite 4 is now in the final stages of development. We have added dozens of new features, enhancements to existing features, fixed the majority of 4.0 bugs, and made large performance gains. See our blog entry for full information. No Longer Included • Areas such as View New Content, My Content, My Followed Content, Status page and so on are replaced by the new Activity Streams • Sphinx is no longer supported as an alternative search engine. We are evaluating alternative search technology for a future release. • Changes to the eAccelerator made it incompatible with IPS Community Suite so support has been removed.     I do agree though it would take some of the fun away from finding cover and no they might not do it in reality, but spose it depends on how long it takes to deploy the sandbags ect.There are new things coming into annex at the moment so should be good to see some of the new things and see how players feel about them when they are implemented.

I wanted to write a message to thank all the staff on putting the amount of input, time and effort that was taken into the new staff structure and congratulate those promoted to new positions and taking on more responsibilities in our community. Thanks to all those who continue to put in their hard work and efforts day in and day out on our servers for our players. For those who didn't receive a promotion yet or haven't been put into a new role don't think we missed you! We have to fill all the roles and train all the staff in these roles so that they have the skills required to do these roles in the best way they can and be able to assist and help our community to grow even further. There will be plenty of opportunities for all our staff to continue to progress,learn and contribute in our community and to grow through our staff system.I wanted to make this a public message to thank all the staff past and present for all their efforts in helping make this community a great community to be apart of. I also wanted to write this to encourage more of our members who may feel they can contribute to the strayagaming staff because we would love to have you apart of our family.We are a ever growing community who really care about our players, staff and gaming servers. l also wanted to thank the community for supporting us like you have.Without our donators and supporters there would be no servers and we all wouldn't be here. So once again l wanted to say a big thanks on behalf of the staff of strayagaming to our community and l wanted to let you all know we have a lot more content and great things coming up in the near future.     To see of these ideas put into the attack and defends from an outside view really is like poetry in motion never has the AI been as responsive before and watching the players deal with these counterattacks is quite amazing.I think it will challenge players coop skills a lot more and the roles that have been chosen by the players.It will deffinatly be an interesting experience for all ahead.I remember a guy talking about one of the upgrades been done after it was launched and l was watching in zues the guy come out saying jeeze that was the most intense arma battle l have ever been in.And you could tell he absolutely loved it.

    Role play items are for Altis life really mas esp there are different textures being designed for wasteland, I&A and Altis Life.And l agree with ya there on that A Fitz.Good pilots who know what they are doing can follow directions very well on our on I&A server.We have some of the best arma 3 pilots l have seen on a lot of servers. This mainly comes from the experienced pilots who actually know what they are doing and what's required from them when taking on a vortex pilot slot.If your flying CAS then l feel its very obvious that your a pilot flying a jet who is required to help support the chopper pilots, infantry and amour from air/ground threats.The transport pilots jobs are to transport all the ground infantry to the AO's so they can start the ground attack on the csat ground forces. Sometimes ya see at the start of a server reset people rushing for a pilot slot who cant really fly to well because they haven't had much practice either in the editor or in game which is fine but sometimes this can frustrate other more experienced players esp those who know what they are doing.There also at time are pilots who logon to these slots are worry more about hunting for the easter eggs on the map than actually doing the role which is transport pilot which is what the vortex pilot slots are for.I can make skins for these roles but this wouldn't change the fact its a medics job to be healing players and not a pilots job to be taking the medics to heal players.I might make a skin that is a medic chopper skin and it may look really nice but really how many pilots are actually going to use that little bird or whichever chopper it is to take do these roles that you are speaking about mas if you know what l mean bud.Its kinda like medics l enjoy going a medic and wherever a player is down l will go to but for e.g when l go a recon marksman which is a role you are kinda talking about there are medics that wont run 250m to pick a player up or sometimes even a 100m.Wheres l would run where ever l have too 500m+.Really comes down to medic or pilot like fitz was saying about those that take dirrections or know what the role they are doing actually requires from them bud.

    The Altis Life server is back up and running well with a lot of the old things you loved about it before and heaps of things planned for the future.Thanks to all the staff involved in getting it up and running and all the community for being patient with the update.Hope you all enjoy and hope to see you all on the server.Also thanks to demigod for your help once again mate you helped save the day.Enjoy all.

    I do like the idea of an exile Frankie style version with zombies and gun mods l would even vote for an epoch done with zombies on the right map with zombies l know a lot of arma 2 players were also dayz players its just making the right server properly

    Its good to see that you had a really good experience Index in the training you have been given on Altis life bud. The guys have been working hard to make sure that everyone understands the rules and has a great time. The training sessions have been getting better and better and are quite a lot of fun and l encourage everyone to give them a go because you will have a lot of fun and meet a lot more of the staff and community. The Altis life staff team have really been working hard on the role playing experience and trying their hardest to make it enjoyable for everyone and the developers have been hard to fix all the bugs as quick as possible to make it even more enjoyable . We really pride ourselves on good service and looking after our community at strayagaming and thank you for taking your time to put your feedback on the forums mate. I'm sure the guys will be happy to see your post and its very encouraging feedback. Hope to see you around on our Altis Life server again mate. Have fun mate.

    A few mates have played it before and said it was good let me know what its like beans l'm not too in to arcade games either there are games that are made for console and games that are made for pc l think.

    If Dragonfyre goes to multiplayer we can use it for sure bro that's the only reason l didn't put it in l will do some more testing with them.They are both good mods but SP is SP and MP is MP l've spoken to the JSRS team but l don't think they are doing much work on those mods anymore l think they are working on a new project so l will wait and see whats happens.I am going to unpin this post from featured toipcs just for now until the mods are put back in feel free to add any other suggestions.

Hey guys after a few days testing on the dev server and the bug that seems to be ironed out now you can now use the JSRS 2.2 and CBA is now enabled for those that want to use these mods for invade and annex. The JSRS 2.2 Sound mod will enhance your sounds for arma from your choppers to most of the weapons in the arsenal.These are optional mods that you can now install and enable and play on our server. First up you will need to download the mods from http://jsrs-studios.com/index.php/downloads make sure you download the full version of JSRS 2.2.You can run the JSRS mod without CBA but you will encounter an error saying you are missing CBA on booting up Arma 3 so grab CBA from Armaholic here http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=18767 once you download the mods unzip CBA and JSRS2.2 and place the @‌CBA and @‌JSRS2.2 folders into your Arma 3 main directory.When you go to boot up Arma before you click play don't forget to open up the dialogue where your local user mods have been installed and add the mods to your Arma directory. This is located under mods for those who don't know.They will appear under your mod section if done correctly and tick the box for both of them and your good to go. If the are any problems please let us know thanks guys and enjoy. There is a installation guide on the CBA mod page which will help you install them just follow those guidelines and you should be set. Thanks to CBA Team for the community based addons mod & JSRS Studios for creating these mods.

    Deffinatly some good stuff your doing there pav l remember your first picture you showed me up above with dr allens new office and you have been spending a lot of time and working on it bro awesome to see l'm sure altis life is gunna have some great areas to explore with the time and work you are putting into the hospital maybe you can redo the cop shop and the rebel zones and l have no doubt they will look a lot better bud. Keep up the good work bro.
