That would work too. I wouldn't have though of that scenario since I'm a helicopter pilot. Any jet I fly becomes sentient and tries to kill me.

Sure, I doubt anyone could dodge 5 missiles in quick succession. But who would fire 5 missiles at a time? Maybe two or three at most. Just don't fly over high traffic areas where there are likely to be infantry with AA. And if you have to, fly where there's cover.

It's not RNG. An experienced pilot can easily dodge missiles. Sure, you can't always dodge due to circumstances such as being too close or flying too slow, but it's not RNG. I've heard the cries of many frustrated pilots claiming shit like this. Typically, the infantry with the AA launcher waited for the perfect moment to fire the missile, therefor making it impossile to dodge. But, again, this is not RNG. Now, there is a difference if you're in a lower grade helicopter (such as an AH-9) where there is not an actual radar. For the most part, if you can't see the missile, you just have to use your judgement and dodge when you think the moment is right. In a vehicle such as a jet, Ghosthawk, or AH-99 Blackfoot where you have an actual radar, wait for the "M" of the missile to reach the edge of the inner-circle. As soon as it hits that inner-circle, pop flares and make a sharp turn. Pitch slightly downwards if there's altitude to spare, so you can get more speed to get away from the AA before more missiles come after you. Using this method, I've achieved a personal record of 7 dodges in a row with a Ghosthawk, having the 8th disable me after I lost too much speed after a dive. Hope this helps any new pilots out there. Good luck!

What's YouTube? Is it like Twitch? Kappa

Two of my favorite things, I love it. The fucking bush wookie killed me.

I don't see what the big deal is. Mortars can barely cover half of the island on far range, and even then, they're fairly inaccurate. Track them down and deal with them, or go to the other side of the island.

You can already lock vehicles that you've bought. Randomly spawned vehicles are free for anyone. Perhaps the ability to by a vehicle lock instead?

Lots of people, me and my friends included, enjoy using the DragonFyre and DynaSound mods. They greatly enhance the sound quality of ARMA 3, and make the game sound a lot cooler. However, using either of these mods causes the wasteland server to kick you instantly when trying to join. Allowing users to use either mod is as simple as adding the mod's server key into your server files and will not affect players without the mod. P.S. If there can only be one or the other, DynaSound is a whole lot cooler

That's kind of why I made this post in the "Suggestions" forum, so that they could read it...

With the mods allowed on the server, it can sound even better! I fly a lot of helicopters, and love doing so. I invested a bit money into a decent joystick and a TrackIR 5, and I love it. With these mods enabled, my helicopters sound 10 times better and it's even more enjoyable.

Hello, I've been trying to get a hold of an admin for a few days now, but being in America, it's hard to find one online. Not sure why I didn't just post on the forums sooner. A few days ago, some folks on the wasteland server were getting a bit salty, and long story short they think I'm a hacker who uses wallhacks and spawns tanks. This is a false accusation and I have both firefights recorded and uploaded if proof is required. My in-game name is "Major Rebitaay". I'll be checking back often so please let me know if anything arises. Thanks, Rebitaay

Just clearing it up. I haven't been banned as far as I know, but I haven't played since then. I would assume that the admins wouldn't ban me based off of someone's word, though.
