SHIT TALKING WITHIN THE APD It has come to the attention of the Chief Superintendent and Cabinet that the APD and its Officers have developed a habit of 'shit talking' directed toward other factions, mostly SP. This Announcement is the first and final warning to ALL Officers of ANY RANK or division, the 'shit talking' is to stop. Any Officer who is reported to be 'shit talking' will face hard first and second offence punishments such as; 1st Offence = Demotion 2rd Offence = Removal from APD The above punishments will also be placed to people who reply to 'shit talking' messages for others. It is suggested that if you are receiving messages or pokes within ts that you block the person. To do this right click on their name, select 'Add as Blocked'. Make sure that you setting are the following to ensure that they cannot message you or poke you. As for in-game messages just ignore them, if it is abusive or you take offence to it Helpdesk. Do not reply it only makes things escalate. The same punishments apply for in game as out of game messaging and poking. Regards, APD Senior Command Team

@Jacob Richardson 1. SRT is not called every 10mins. 2. I as a Chief Inspector have only just gained access to a helmet of lvl 3 amour and only use it when undertaking SRT ops. 3. Yes police have amrour. Have you note need a cop IRL with one before? Even the guys in the money trsnsport trucks have them now days. 4. Cops will from constable up will have access to knock downs for mk20s. This will improved the number of people who live after a shhot out with cops thus more RP. (Coming in next update) I myself, already having knock down use them all the time with my MXGL. Even on SRT ops it great to knock someone down and then RP with them. Tempo makes a great point but Jacob please don't call cops out for things they don't do. Come and try cop one day and see what it is like. It is hard that you think.

@Tempo @Jacob Richardson You have stated greats point which are true about cops and rifles in real life, but I wish to put the glove on the other hand. When was the last time seeing a "rebel" run down the road in full cams with a rifle even more so, when was the last time seeing anyone other than a police tactical unit drive down the road of a town or highway in a military grade armored vehicle? If we go by that train of thinking then, well, rebel would look very differnet and the police, well, chances would leave cop ending up with most likely greater weapons and equipment. The way it should be if we follow closely to real life. The reason for this, the police is a government run and funded department thus more money and great ablity to gain access to weapons. Rebels not as great funding and lower abity to even low grade rifles. The changes to the server are hard cut. That is fine. Many police officers already are looking forward to knock downs. It just means we can waste more of the waste land players time.

The Ghosthawk as a transport helo would be nice if made possible. Also adding in the door less and unarmed Hellcat (hide the weapon mount wings/ pod would be great) would nice.

In real life I could take shots at them from within the car and i can have gun in one hand and open a door with the other - not hard!

We will still ask you to drop your gear etc. The pat down feature is for people who don't want to RP with cop and don't want to drop their gear. But before a pat down script comes in we need a seize all items script so we can remove items of clothes etc left around process and around the cop shop.
