@Rat66 and everyone else, You don't need the transfer to come over to play the new server once you log in you start with about $300k ish which is heaps to get started on, it is enough to get a decent truck and large backpack and get you ready for your first run. we need people to go out and do runs all the runs so we can know what does/doesn't work. Once the admins start going though the transfers they can add your money to what you have already. What you all need to do is take screenshots of all your vehicles and their contents as these cannot make the move and you will have to put the cost of what you would be loosing into your transfer appeal like you would a comp request. the reason for this is that the old database (like the entire server) is outdated and not compatible so each transfer has to be done by hand. My transfer has not come over yet but i am still playing on that server in my free time and have made myself quite a good arsenal.

Don't think you quite understand what you are asking here; This issue came up because another issue was fixed. As you can see the old framework needs to be scraped as the latency and unplayability just isn't working. We have got a lot of people on the new server which is great but very few of them are pointing out the issues. the thing is we simply can't keep the old server going, it needs to close down. Lets look at it this way; The 'Old' server has a gaping wound and we are only applying band aids to it every now and then The 'New' server has a lot of cuts but they are getting band aids and then proper stitching further down the track Either way we have a wound that needs healing, one will be easier and quicker to heal then the other so i suggest we go with that option

There is no diamond mine, as you may/may not have noticed there are Diamonds, Sapphires, Rubys and Gold Nuggets (10 nuggets make a bar) Instead of mining these resources they are now a rare commodity (which is important in crafting high end items) and as such is only going to drop on a rare chance (last I heard was 2% drop rate) while mining other objects This may come in soon but at the moment it isn't high on the list

You are thinking about this in the wrong mindset, This opens opportunities for people to become gun manufactures and salesmen (I.E Altis Firearms and Workwear [My new civ contractor business]) If what i remember is true you can buy one 6.5 gun (the Katiba) all others and above are crafted. You have to remember that the Roleplay narrative for rebels is to take over the government. You start with almost nothing and have to work hard to get the tools to take back your county from the corrupt government and cartels

Everything 6.5+ has to be crafted. This opens more opportunities for RP and less opportunities for trolls

Hey @brutalforthepizza, Please note that a few of us are working on a re-write of the rules and are hopefully ready for a couple of people (who are willing) to read over them and let us know on any grey areas that they find. We have removed a lot of the clutter that is in the rule base ATM and have re-worded & added rules. Most important things to bring in are; New Crafting System and removal of buying high powered weapons New locations of Bank/Fed/Prison New Fields (i.e. Cotton,Logging etc.)

Going further from Spec's rule update discussion (linked at bottom of page), I want to ask you all to let us in the Altis Life Staff team know what rules you think should go, should come into place and which ones need more clearing up. While I know that the rules will need to be vetted at the highest level I think that we really need to ask the community on what they think should happen in turn of the rules. Lately we have been pretty dry on events and I think that this needs to change so I am thinking that we as a community should come up with some awesome events that we can run weekly on a Friday/Saturday night. I am thinking that we have 3 small basic events a month and then one decent event with sweet loot/rewards. But the big thing with events is Ideas so I am going to ask you the people on what events we should run and if we get enough ideas then we could probably start this next week. I believe the aim of the new map is to make it so that Sydney isn't the main hub. Instead spreading out the map and allowing cops & medics to be active in more towns. You know what we really need, There should still only be 3 gang bases (awarded to certain gangs by the admins) BUT these should be spread out and be some of the smaller towns (I.e rebel controlled syrta etc) or maybe have the gang bases like they are now and make the Rebel spawns in a couple of the small towns so that it can be rebel controlled

Now in regards to who gets the money put into their name... @Links @Mozkelby @Ya Mum @Unit_3397 & @Vertigo, I want you guys to send me one name each of people who frequently play the server on the server but don't have donator perks. and what I will do is take the 5 names (one from each of you) and put $10 under each of their names thus giving 5 people on Wasteland access to some awesome skins in game and a $50 boost to your donation goals. I feel like this is a better way to do this as you guys don't have many people who frequent the forums to 'vote' for their server. Sydney is the troll capital so while changing the vehicle to a different vehicle may reduce the risk the truck missions need to be removed from Sydney all together (they can still be in other cities just not Troll capital)

Also if you have already voted then you cant change it. I have them saved so i will know

@Unit_3397 makes a good point. Therefore the game has changed. The money will go to the least funded server on Saturday (lowest percentage of funds not lowest $$) If there are two servers that could benifit from it then they will split the cash according to need. The second have of the game will retmain. If you have voted for the server that gets the money then you will be entered into the draw to have the cash put under your name. Good luck to you all.
