Do armoured vehicles spawn?

How high should my visibility be set at? I feel like if it's set too high it can be an unnecessary damper on performance, but say I wanted to engage at a max distance of 1.5km away on foot and in vehicle, what should it be set at? TIA

I think that more common FOB defence missions are a good idea, and I would like the idea of maybe being able to upgrade the FOB logistically to have an arsenal or an armoured vehicle depot
