So as we all are aware, due to recent/last few updates, we have lost our hexagons and player tags. These are both quite a major feature and without it, things aren't quite the same... Now, I'm not sure if this a potential fix. But if it is defiantly something worth looking into. So today I was playing single player, and noticed a 'difficulty' tab in the configure>game menu. This is what it revealed: Screen Shot Now, as the screenshot shows, it has by default on my put group indicators, friendly name tags and enemy name tags on hide. Group indicators being hexagons and friendly/enemy name tags being the vehicle/unit name and in servers the player name. As you can see in this Screen Shot when I selected friendly name tags it displayed what we were so used to seeing when scrolling on players.. Now, when I connected to StrayaGaming to see if I could change the settings so it would be normal, as you can see in this Screen Shot it told me it was determined by the server. Now I am no developer, but I think there is a chance that if this is found in the mission file and found, edited to show and implemented, we could have our beautiful name tag and hexagons back... @John Paul @LuckyB33f Not sure if you guys have already investigated this or if it's possible to edit them and have the old scroll/nametag features and hexagon features back, thought I would bring it up in case. @Unit_3397 @kristiankar67 They had made a second server a while ago, it was the same data base, same map everything. How ever I believe it shut due to the costs, probably not much chance of it opening again. It only ever had like 20 people so everyone went and got gear there and did money shipments, or when to a location logged out and back in on the other server in the middle of gun stores or what not. Cheers @Temprite, I haven't tried this yet but I think that will be it as when I was looking through settings it was enabled, It makes sense considering it has been since I was stuffing around with settings. I didn't notice I changed a setting, I thought Steam friendly was the SHIFT + TAB screen. I'll give it a go when I get home, I think this will work!! Leopard // Cartel Founder

So.. Recently I have been having an issue with text chat disappearing after I open main menu or click esc at any time.. This is extremely annoying and no combination of spamming buttons seems to bring it back. And yes, I tried turning side off and on again... I personally in 2,500 hours have never seen this... I did, yes. They all came back fine and no downloads commenced. It's fun without it and makes the game do much harder, I wouldn't mind everyone losing it, but it makes the game surprisingly harder xD.

Is there anyway to make another chat that is say a 2km radius? Is it even possible to make another chat? Another possible suggestion I had was, something probably impossible to code but in theory I think would be amazing. Simply, you would scroll on the vehicle or player, you middle click on the option "Declare" and it gives you a number i.e. 194. it also sends the player who was scrolled and clicked on the same number, in follow up from this the declare'r would post in side chat "Declaration number 194, Hands up or die now, this is a civilians arrest". I think it would be impossible, but hey. In theory I think would work... Leopard // Cartel Founder

@Spectral I agree, I want more face to face, *Cough* remove side decs *Cough* The sever I came from, RP over side was not allowed. It was good because you had to use direct get up in the face of people and actually engage them in person. Sure didn't have the large confusion of the side decs being invalid etc etc. Anyway, that is another matter. Leopard // Cartel Founder
