  1. Best advice is to multi-crew a tank. And find a few people to either crew a second tank, or a bobcat. There’s safety in numbers, and the multi-crew aspect allows more successful dodging of missiles and RPG’s. And work with other Ironside members not in your group.

Also try and sit on hills like...1.5-2km + away for guaranteed safety from AI in the AO. In some AO’s you can get closer due to natural cover, but each AO is unique.

I’m not sure if there is something Fitz can do with the AI to prevent the top down, or at least lower the damage of it, but for the moment ya gotta deal with it.

Remember in terms of damaging tanks - the rear is the weakest generally. If you can get a few good rounds into the turret and disable it, that’s a second option for where to target.

Note: please forgive any grammatical errors, this was written by a very tired Pk.

  2. Primary breads reason. It kinda kills the hardcore vibe when you and a few people are going full hardcore, to see a guy walk past sprinting with a Bergen full of missiles.

And I mentioned in the post, not a perm thing. Maybe for just one restart a week on Tanoa.

  3. So it's been the interests of a few players over the last few weeks, that we could potentially make a specific day of the week hardcore for the Tanoa server. Hardcore would involve slightly harder AI, First Person Only and Stamina enabled. My own personal recommendation would be a Friday. Either run full day Friday, or during Peak times (Perhaps peak time for a trial period to see interest. High interest = 24 hour of hardcore).

  4. The only issue I can predict with the MK82 change is that it is definately not noob friendly. While a good handful of us jet pilots are capable of using and hitting MK82’s relatively accurately, the majority of pilots cannot.

I’m unsure what you mean by Cannon Pods. But if it’s possible to artificially increase the default cannon ammo in the Buzzard, it would be great.

  5. On the “can’t find a weapon in a town”. I literally walked into La Trintite near the safe zone and I found several M1014’s and Stings. Both with are incredibly viable in the early game. I also found several of the Vermin’s. and several revolvers and Four-Five pistols. All with at least 2-3 mags.

Alot of players will use TeamSpeak, alot of groups will use group chat but be using either TeamSpeak or discord. My preference is in game group channel unfortunately use of a main group is under utilised often.

Or the main group is full of.....utter nonsense to put it lightly.

Yep, or it's a rendering bug at range. Either way, it sucks.  I've had similar issues (at + 1100m).

It's one thing to nag on the 'this is not a milsim server' drum, but not being able use legit tactics is just a bit crap.

No it’s an actually feature implemented on the server.

Unless your within 300m of the Commander, you won’t be able to harm him...or shouldn’t be able too. @Fitz can you confirm?

  8. On a serious note: I believe I&A has a system at the moment where the commander cannot he killed by someone outside a specific range of then HQ.

The point of this is to prevent people from just murdering him at long range.

Im assuming it’s the commander your shooting. The video I’m watching is from my phone in 3G internet and thus is terrible quality so I cannot see properly.

Also @Mann you spent way too long writing that...Kudos to you my friend.

So now we (as in the AL players) have to develop our own shit hold up wtf? :waitwhat:

Well the more people that know how to do the development, the faster shit gets done.

However, I also mentioned that none of the devs from AL would stop developing AL unless they personally wanted to. My assumption is that Webbie will be doing the majority for Exile, with a little bit of help from other devs in the community.

  10. The devs do work for the server they want to do work for.

Just because we start up a new server doesn’t mean we are taking Devs from the AL server. Calm your tits.

If your so worried about “your server missing out”, learn how to do shit yourself.

As related to the point of this topic -have never played Exile and would love to give it a try.
