    What Disciplinary Action was placed against you: BLACKLIST from S.R.T and Detective and a suspension from cop.

    Who were you Disciplined by: Milkdud

    Reason for Disciplinary Action against you:  Playing rebel with [TSF] tags whilst not on leave whilst in a division, participating in an house-raid with TSF, and disobeying orders from a cabinet member.

    Why the appeal should be accepted:  Firstly, I understand what I did wrong regarding the incident where I was playing Rebel with [TSF] tags whilst not in a division. I have had the previous history of it and was kicked from S.R.T for that specific reason, I, however, was playing on leaving S.R.T that same day but was having mixed feelings, which was why I was playing rebel but had not openly discussed my position in S.R.T. That same night I joined detectives and stopped playing the rebel up until last night where I wanted to camp coke proc but had no Aobe members to chill with I decided to join DJ_Joozbrorg and his gang so if I were decd upon I would have more backup. At this point, I had not taken leave which was my fault. Whilst down at coke proc DJ had hit off a house at Kalithea which was [BFB] house. I then flew over to the house with my intentions being to help in case of a firefight between them and [BFB]. I, however, had died before getting there. DJ ended scoring an RPG and a Navid from the burglary. I then taunted FarmerGeorge saying that we had split the loot. Which we didn't. DJ can confirm he sold both the RPG and Navid. This was then followed by a metagaming accusation as I was in detectives, however, I do not have access to house information as a Trial Detective.

    This was then followed up by a message from Milkdud in Teamspeak telling me I was blacklisted from 2 divisions. I joined the Melb LAC channel which was where he and other cops we're chilling so that I could speak with him. We got into a heated argument, one which I will not get into details but will say it was very very heated. Both Milkdud and I were extremely heated and he told me to get out of the channel, which I did not and I received a suspension.

     

    In conclusion, Milkdud put it perfectly which was actually one of the reasons I got pissed off in the first place which is that I am trial-moderator and there are certain procedures I must follow to do a certain thing. I, however, did not do the procedure of applying for leave and that one simple procedure that I disregarded, blew up in my face and left me with Blacklists and a suspension. Following this, I then disobeyed an order from the Deputy Commissioner. Which at the time only occurred because I was extremely pissed off. I have taken some time to cool off and write this appeal and I was not myself last night. The whole day was shitty for me IRL and in-game and I think everything just combined and I just took it out on Milkdud, and for that, I say I am sorry.

    1. As stated at the bottom of my topic, this was only a base idea, it could obviously be changed so that is fair..

     

    2. New mission file, new possibilities.

     

    3. I did state that you could remove the distance tracking so that you cant metagame the location. The information that it should display would be "House(Yellow-Double story)".

    These are just a collection of issues I see on the server and these are the only solution I could really think of. I have also put some standalone suggestions.

     

    Housing System

    Issue:

    1. Currently, there are 100+ houses all over the map that are either used by either:

               a) Inactive members

                             OR

               b) Banned members

         I know this from being an ex-detective, there are houses that are all over major cities and small towns that are owned by people I don't even know myself.

    2. It is also really hard to find an available house in major cities and small towns. You have to run through the town and windows key every house, and it's just a pain in the arse.

     

    Solution/Suggestion:

    1. Maybe we could implement a rent system. For example, you put down a $100,000 deposit or something like that for a house. Then every day/week/fortnight/etc you have to pay rent. If rent is not paid by that date then the house goes back on the market and all furniture and items stored inside the house gets destroyed.

    2. Maybe we could have a town real estate building where when you interact with the real estate it comes up with coordinates, information, and price/rent of all houses available in that city/town. So there would be one in Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane/Neochori/Zaros/etc.

     

    Loot

    Issue:

    1. Currently, you cannot loot the inventory of bodies only the items of the player. This very reason is why a big reason why I and many others don't play rebel/civ. This makes killing other rebels/civilians and cops unrewarding.

    Solution/Suggestion:

    1. I reckon with it should be made that if you abort/disconnect or anything along those means, your body and items backpack disappears. However, if you were to have been killed, your body and item backpack stay so people can loot.

    2. Another idea I had in terms of loot. I reckon a dead person backpack. There should be keys to both the dead person's house and car. You could also take away the distance meter in the keychain. This way people don't metagame peoples houses and car locations. Another thing you could add would be if you have someone restrained with cable ties, you can have an option where you take someone's keys.

    Hello everyone,

    Tomorrow I will be starting a mini project for myself to improve my video editing skill but also to interact with SG community itself. I was thinking of making a COPS style video to showcase  the APD. I think this would greatly improve roleplay on the server and it would just be so much fun to film, and who knows I might even release episodes every month. I am looking for a variety of police officers who love roleplay and also take the APD's protocols seriously. If you would like to be in the video, please comment on this thread and I will contact you via TeamSpeak. I am looking to start filming tommorow but I have a lot of spare time so any day this week is alright. Hopefully, we can get a few SYD units together and maybe make a 20min episode. I am looking forward to your comments.
