They’re defualty weak, they’re not designed to protect your head from 6.5mm+, there made to protect from light fire that penetrates the cockpit of a helicopter. Well the somewhat armed helicopters anyway...

Ironside has always been like that, and you risk getting blown up when you don’t run a full crew, if you ran a full crew you would have more defense against AT, i do think that you get blown up to fast but it’s dependent on how you run, if you play 1.5km away hidden between rocks they won’t find you, and you also have time to deploy your cmsrs which should ultimately make the missle loose it’s lock. Oh, and Driving is the fun of it ? Or run the rhino and get paradropped via blackfish if driving isn’t your thing. It would be pretty cool to see the FOB do this, or even have it how Webbie does it, get csat or Indi to make a small attack on it, you defend > rewards

To the extent of dying if you hit a wall going 20km/h is just stupid, and it’s not meant to be like that

There is nothing that staff could do about this, I’ve played ironside / APCs most my time on I&A, you get 1 tapped and that’s just bohemian incompetence for you, it’s like bushes or the stone walls, they fucken 1 tap the engine out of any blufor tank (anything with the slammer UP Body) its been like this for years, doubt they’ll fix it, but you can do things to prevent most of it as nova said.
