dasweetdude 327 Report post Posted October 12, 2015 Hey guys after a few days testing on the dev server and the bug that seems to be ironed out now you can now use the JSRS 2.2 and CBA is now enabled for those that want to use these mods for invade and annex. The JSRS 2.2 Sound mod will enhance your sounds for arma from your choppers to most of the weapons in the arsenal.These are optional mods that you can now install and enable and play on our server.First up you will need to download the mods from http://jsrs-studios.com/index.php/downloads make sure you download the full version of JSRS 2.2.You can run the JSRS mod without CBA but you will encounter an error saying you are missing CBA on booting up Arma 3 so grab CBA from Armaholic here http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=18767 once you download the mods unzip CBA and JSRS2.2 and place the @CBA and @JSRS2.2 folders into your Arma 3 main directory.When you go to boot up Arma before you click play don't forget to open up the dialogue where your local user mods have been installed and add the mods to your Arma directory. This is located under mods for those who don't know.They will appear under your mod section if done correctly and tick the box for both of them and your good to go. dasweetdude 327 Report post Posted October 17, 2015 Shaktac hud was gunna go in today as well but after watching the server battleye is causing issues with the mods in I&A in our version also. This is like a hybrid version of I&A.l will ask quicksilver to have a look at why its causing these problems but until further notice the mods are getting taken out today until its clean with nobody getting kicked out or batteye giving errors to the current build of I&A. It will have to be updated with a hotfix patch since there was a battleye update that seems to have caused more issues with the allowed mods into I&A.Also l don't want to leave them in there even if it causes problems on one players machine which it is causing a problem for a small few at the moment so for now l am taking them out till we have a chance to look at why this problem seems happen and we have a way around it and its patched.It doesn't cause probs for anyone.I don't get the problem at all making it harder to diagnose and l stayed logged in all morning but l don't want to leave it in their if it causes any problems for any member of our community.Cheers guys. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Nothing has been altered on the server, it just allows people, if they want, to run JSRS on their computer alone. This only alters their gameplay and doesn't affect how Invade & Annex run. dasweetdude 327 Report post Posted October 18, 2015 Client side mods were actually allowed and annex was designed and this was a conversation brobeans bought up earlier when he didn't understand the difference between server side mods and client side mods bud which l did explain in another post earlier if you haven't seen it yet. They were disabled because battleye is interfering with them and kicking our players out of the server and our annex is different to older annex versions. Annex originally had mods that worked in it that were in the earlier straya version l'm not sure if you noticed it but they were in there and a lot of people used them and asked for them to be put back in. It was a suggestion quick had said to me and l had talked to j17 about it and he had said it was fine and knows what they are before l even posted about them on the forums or thought of putting them in.These aren't like the mods we do now in STOG but at the moment they are more like game enhancers ,CBA is just about a community requirement these days for most mods to function properly, sthud allows you to be able to see teammates on a radar screen so even if your in groups your will still see friendly which hopefully this cuts down on team killing and bans for it.JSRS is a sound enchancer mod with a lot better special effects and bullet ballistic sounds and adds to the battlefield a lot better than arma 3's standard sounds. These options for these mods were something that have always been allowed but had been taken out and me and rog had upated in diary the mods allowed were none.This was along time ago now but battleye is giving an error saying battleye not responding.Not to everyone but some of our players l would rather them come out sheep and all of our players be able to play than be kicked bud by this error until its fixed. Or not go in at all. It may take abit more work to fix up but was about giving the community the options to use these enhancers if they want and add alittle extra spice and content that is totally optional.These mods have been allowed in annex for awhile even in the older vesions of annex from ahoyworld and allfps which l am sure those dev team members worked hard to be able to get that list of allowed mods. These mods were made available along time ago in annex .They will all be going back in the future if you don't use them you wont notice the difference but once you do use them then you wont want to go back JSRS doesn't update anymore,sthud is no longer being updated as far as l know and hasn't for alongtime and cba does but if you don't update cba you can still use JSRS just not sthud only reason cba goes in is to stop a dependency that JSRS put in when it was another mod that was added to the cba list and it will bring an error up when booting the mod but it fill continue to still function if you choose to use it.These mod enhancers can go back into the server only when they are working with no problems or wont be going back in even if it causes a few people to have problems with it. dasweetdude 327 Report post Posted October 19, 2015 If Dragonfyre goes to multiplayer we can use it for sure bro that's the only reason l didn't put it in l will do some more testing with them.They are both good mods but SP is SP and MP is MP l've spoken to the JSRS team but l don't think they are doing much work on those mods anymore l think they are working on a new project so l will wait and see whats happens.I am going to unpin this post from featured toipcs just for now until the mods are put back in feel free to add any other suggestions.
