Leopard 7 Report post Posted April 20, 2016 Gooooood Evening gentleman and gentleWoooman. Mr. Snow Leopard; I have created this thread today to discuss something I have had in mind for a week or two. I am interested in creating, essentially a Wasteland gang, or unit. In game, we would just be a independent group, but I plan on becoming dominant over the wasteland server using planning and teamwork. I am yet to decide on a name but am open to suggestions! Thinking of just a number or short word or something simple that players will remember when we dominate them. * Sorry for the horrible writing structure * I am at the moment thinking of a 10 man unit consisting of; 2 snipers, 3 medics, 1 Anti-Tank, 1 Anti-Air and 3 Rifleman. These numbers could double or go up by 50% depending on the amount of given interest. - Information on classes // Snipers - Should be able to hit atleast a 2km shot with a sniper rifle (Lynx, M320) and up to a 1km shot with a marksman rifle (Mar-10, Cyrus, Mk1, Mk14 etc.) - Should not require to have a spotter to be successful. // Medics - This person is dedicated to reviving the rest of the squad. - You are still a key part to the combat situations, using a LMG or Assault rifle is highly recommended. // Anti-Tank OR Anti-Air - Expected to carry a launcher. ( of your choice except if you are Anti-Air you must carry a AA launcher. ) - Recommended to use an Assualt rifle. // Riflemen - Close quarter specialists using a Assault rifle or LMG is recommended. - Should have high level of tactical awareness and teamwork (Working as sqaud) Requirements - * Must have a microphone * Mature * Clean ban record (Minor offenses will be overseen) * Decent amount of hours on ArmA3 * Friendly * Cooperative * Active * Good teamwork skills Other information - As part of this sqaud you are dedicating your Wasteland time to the unit/sqaud. Unit_3397 712 Report post Posted April 20, 2016 Yo Snow Leopard. I personally like this idea, a Straya gaming clan within the wasteland community. It would be awesome to team up with like minded individuals that like a sense of realism, teamwork and strategy while having fun within the community and on my favourite server. Should you think I am a worthy candidate for such a 'clan' and should this spark enough interest, well... too bad I only go opfor good luck converting me you'll have to snipe me relentlessly for me to even consider. But also keep in mind that some players wont always want to team up and go in all serious... I myself like to just play around with different classes sometimes and mess around... (with AP rockets... Helios... oh and jets getting 101 advice from @Blue Eagle [+1 CREW]. ) I donno, when you produce additional notes regarding this idea and peeps that are keen, spam me with bullets. Also Leopard, I've posted the story behind unit_3397 on my about me page... the page will be updated at a later date, but you'll get the general idea. When I mentioned the realism and what not I'm not planing on having a full all out tactical dead serious unit. I want people who, whilst having fun are a good shot, good at their class and know how to play the game smart enough to be successful 90% of the time. Again, not dead serious, still have a joke around when something happens or on nights we dont feel like going at people hardcore. With love! Links 336 Report post Posted April 21, 2016 great idea for indie teams, i ask John Paul about making tags in teamspeak for Wastelands players who have good team leader skills etc a while ago, ill do some asking around for you snow, and see if i can get another thread area made up for wasteland indie teams/clans but it would be up to you snow to get people on fourms to sign up? 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Mozkelby 379 Report post Posted April 21, 2016 Nice idea, although I think this would be more suitable as a personally arranged squad such as [BLS], [SP], -ASI- etc. But as Links (sort of) mentioned, I'm all up for having a Squad Recruitment section of forums created so anyone wishing to recruit S.G players for their squad can do so more easily.
