Griffo 159 Report post Posted December 22, 2016 Maybe you guys get this a lot but what is StrayaGaming's stance on mods? Many mods are widely recognised for their ability, practicality and the level of realism they introduce to the game. (Task Force Radio, for example) Is there any plan for Straya Gaming to trial any mods at any point in the future?
Nova 1779 Report post Posted December 22, 2016 these are both of our Supported mods both are client side QS Mag Repackhttp://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=755210821 JSRS4: Apex (Aust download mirror)https://acf.sx/dl/JSRS4-APEX1.2.rar (650mb) we were going to add task force radio but decided against. any other mods will not be added to the main server. however we may open a second modded server if the main server really keeps its pop up consistently. otherwise if we were to open a second server it would divide the playerbase
Griffo 159 Report post Posted December 22, 2016 I'd keep the one server and implement Task Force Radio. Task Force Radio would utterly invaluable, for so many reasons:- -Improved comms for Police to reduce radio clutter. (Keep all police in 1 TS channel, just use diff frequencies) -Would allow in-game news broadcasting and music from your radio / car stereo -Improved comms -Better control over conversations (whispering to reduce people listening in to private convos, and yelling, to ensure that declarations are heard better) -Did I mentioned improved comms and car stereo? Considering TFAR is such a small mod, it really does bring a lot to the table and I hope you guys consider putting it in in 2017.
Nova 1779 Report post Posted December 22, 2016 uhhh is this still about I&A or altis life? because we dont have cops or declarations. even then altis life is going to remain unmodded too
CreedJr 385 Report post Posted December 22, 2016 Adding mods to a server means everyone has to download said mod to play the server. So even if you add one mod that means everyone has to download it meaning that yes.. people actually have to be bothered to find SG then to find the mod packs. As far as I know SG will be keeping it's vanilla servers as they are the easiest to maintain when it comes to the player base.
