I meant in the regard that it's outright illegal because it's from a gang hideout, so it's considered a rebel variant.
The rule directly references "rebel" weapons not being allowed inside city limits.I’m pretty sure that all the smg/pistols are allowed in city limits by server rules. However the sting and vermin are illegal.

They are almost impossible to win. There are 35 cops on and they sub out for another cop when they die (disconnect and let another cop take their slot). And hmg and ghost hawk abuse doesn't really help.

There are plenty of budget guns Katiba, contractor base and air drops for like mk18 and what not doesn't really seem like something that should be taking up the devs time when there are plenty of more important issues on the server.

Pretty pointless the strider meta forces 7.62. If the type 115 is added is anyone gonna use it over a zafir or mk1?

Qilins get ****ed by any decent infantry player. They aren't the protective bubble that striders are, you can get shot out very easily.

@bouda118 my reason I want to remove striders is to encourage infantry combat which im know most people prefer to strider combat. Another benefit of this that people who come from other servers don't have to learn the strider tactic and can get involved mucg quicker.

Firstly I want to say that i'm not sure if this would be possible but if it is I think it could really add to combat and gameplay as a whole. The idea I have in mind is not to have civs being able to craft tanks and super powerful vehicles but to be able to craft fun and balanced vehicles. Two vehicles that I think fit this criteria well is the armed Qilin (http://armedassault.wikia.com/wiki/Qilin) with it's 6.5 minigun and the UH-80 Ghost Hawk helicopter (http://armedassault.wikia.com/wiki/UH-80_Ghost_Hawk) with it's duel 6.5 miniguns. It's not too hard to kill the people operating the vehicle in either vehicle and the weapons on them are not overly powerful.
How to craft
I'm not going to go into specific crafting recipes just give my general thoughts on how hard they should be to craft. My aim here is to make them only really worth it to pull out in situations where another party like the police would be likely to use armed vehicles, for example fed or city takeover. My idea here is to add a fourth tier of steel (like re-enforced steel or something) This could be crafted with 1x Hardened steel and gold bars or diamonds. This would hopefully make the armed Qilins worth at least 2m while Ghost Hawks at least 5m.
Just a thought want to see what the community thinks and if it would be possible to implement.

Why I want to join: I just want to be in a gang that does rebel stuff instead of just being in a sydney gang.
My average playtime every week is about 30 hours
