    On going issue milk that will never get resolved, either side will always say its unfair. Its hard to control with all the trolls in sydney and people that come to sydney for frags, Like i suggested, there is no assigned destination for organised combat so if players feel like pvp they can go, hence people come into the most populated areas to kill. Im heavily decreasing my playing time on altis life as of today due to the lack of effort and the way certain players are treated in the community, its toxic and its something I dont want to be apart of, If your a rebel your seen as a rulebreaker and from what I've seen over the past few weeks its more cop RDM's then anything.     Yeah i like it @Voxtrio but im not sure about a cooldown of 24 hours, imagine if a gang hit it at 2:30/3am ? no one would ever be able to capture it if they continued to hit it due to playing at different time zones, but i like the concept!

    Seeing as I've got the ball rolling with police force I thought I might as well throw up a thread for people to suggest ideas for the server, I've heard heaps of really good ones over the past few days not only for cop but also for rebels and medics. It takes someone with the imitative to start a movement so why not here. from a rebel point of view, recently we have been scouting the map looking for rebel vs rebel action, we have avoided the obvious drug fields n processing lots and targeted major highways and police checkpoint 1, we have found more police action then anything. Perhaps a gang base/hideout that can be captured by a gang which over time generates revenue for the gang and can be claimed like the old gang hide outs? This will give rebels something to defend if they have possession. this is but one of my ideas for more rebel on rebel interaction which will promote gangs to form (hence the easier it is to hold with more people). Feel free to throw your ideas in guys, not saying anything is going to change but it might spark change for development on the issues people are finding on the server, keep in mind there is a single guy developing so try to keep it doable.     Some really valid points from both sides here, thanks everyone for taking the time to read and comment. I like a few of the suggestions donk has made. I've also spoken to wex who has let me know that they are looking at all aspects of the police force and the perception people have on it, Like donk said, I think pricing is a big thing, although all the rebels in our gang have 20mil+, carrying a single load out that costs 1.2mil+ to only be knocked down with a single shot is something that deters lots of people carrrying Navids etc, we have stopped using striders as of late due to the previous escolation, with 4/5 striders with weapon and gear your looking at over 10mil quite easily, for a 1.1mil pay out from bank? Or if your lucky you'll pull a fed off with maybe 300 gold bars? It hardly covers the gear prices. I know first hand how easy cops have it with weapons and gear pricing as I'm sure I abused it myself, I can admit that and I wish someone had pulled me up on it. I've found instead of the tactics like teargas and organised movements, players reach straight for navies and overpowered vehicles. I'm hoping to see some big changes in the near future!     So I've been apart of the community for multiple years now and i consider myself a pretty well known individual in the community. I've played all aspects of Altis life. I've been here through the highs of the server maxing out, to the lows of there lucky to be 15 players on at peak hours, I've seen staff come and go. For quite some time now I've noticed the growing mistreatment of rebels and the favouring for police, not only from staff but the direction the game is being pushed towards, Earlier last year when the server hit its low and the police force crashed, new protocols were set in place to give the police an unfair advantage on the outnumbering rebel gangs, but now the server is back to its max capacity but with very few rebels gangs actually existing actively on the server meanwhile the cops still have access to their Hunter HMG's, Ghosthawks, etc. The average player size of the gangs on altis life is 5-6, to the few reading this that have actually fought cops in a 7vs20+ situation will know how overpowered it is.They use any chance of pulling a hunter HMG (which only takes 4 striders or a ghosthawk which only takes 2 MMG's), as well as having an abundance of weapons to their advantage like teargas and flashbangs. I left my position in the police force because I wasn't enjoying it at the time. I found the force had a dog eat dog vibe to it, with players snaking each other to try give themselves advantages on getting promotions, which i wanted nothing to do with. I've recently played a little bit of cop and have found its exactly the same as when I left, CO's snaking other players to try and stand out to higher ups, teamwork rarely exists and its seems to be a 'who can scream loudest' competition in the channel. From a rebels prospective, I don't see anything that would appeal to gangs starting up as the chance of them actually contesting a bank or a fed are slim to none. I think a major change in attitude from staffing is required and rebel activity should be encouraged. I know i personally lost my trial moderator position as I supposedly favoured my gang members, but thats another story for another day, While I had my position in staff, I seen multiple situations on which I didnt think was very fair and I spoke up on them to soon be told to "Worry about your own issues" by an admin. Aobe members banned for 12 hours for combat logging but a Senior support member who is also a cop combat logs and he gets a warning. Don't get my wrong I'm grateful for the hardwork that goes into running the server and I have seen plenty of good from these same people. But I feel like its finally time for change, People favouring their friends for positions or picking people they personally like instead of picking what is good for the wellness of the server. Remember this is just 1 players opinion and everyone is entitled to one, happy to have a discussion below if people think I'm being unreasonable or if other players agree, let me know :) Thanks for taking the time to read.
