Okay, so I'll try to keep it short but I just want a discussion about this,  TL:DR Cops are bad, they run away, not balanced at all

• Hmm, love it when Cops call SRT on 3 SP boys, then bring out RPGS and Navids as it escalates into a 5 v 24, spray their navids, shoot their rpgs and still dont kill one of us. Then pussy off back to PD after we start killin em. :)

So, I want to know how anyone could consider this balanced? The 3 original SP were @Caiden , @Rhys Beckett and myself. Rhys and I had katibas, and Caiden had a Mk1. As soon as we declare on a cop (north of sydney) they call SRT and the cops start flooding. Next thing we know we're being bombarded by RPGs and being sprayed at by navids, we survived due to the cops just not being good in general (Aim). So after the cops flood on (24) we have 3 more SP boys ( @Nitrous @Jacob Richardson @Chappy ) so turns into a 6 v 24, as the fight continues my strider is disabled by a full navid mag, and Jacob is hit by an RPG while escaping with me (We survive),

So, I want to know. At what point in this fight was it balanced. The cops outgunned us, we out skilled them. That's not balanced. I lost a Strider worth 750k, they would have lost what, 200k worth of gear? Why do they get to spend their money willy nilly and come to banks etc with hunter hmgs and have all these big guns for such a small price? Every time the cops complain they get whatever it is they want, why don't we? You wonder why no one wants to play the server but isn't it obvious, no one wants to play on a server where the cops have the potential to rape you anytime they want but they don't because they're shit. We can't bring more than 2 LMGs or Striders to Fed out of fear of a ghost hawk or HMGs being pulled out. It's ridiculous and not fair, back in the days of Vizzn as commisioner we would roll the cops but that was more skill than armory. Cops and Rebels need to be balanced. Otherwise this server is going to die more than it already has. Sort it out. /rant over

Edit: **** yeah I'm triggered, isn't this server meant to be fun and not just getting repeatedly raped by the cop force

Yeah, I understand what you mean, but the damage has already been done. The only largish gang is F and they're not even that big. The cops screwing up has ruined the Rebel Side of the Server

It's a bit late for that, maybe the Cops should have sucked it up and not had the server change it's meta around them because THEY screwed up? As @Farensik. has said, why should we have to suffer for the Cop's mistakes, and suffer we have.

We need the context so that we can get an understanding of the situation, and anyone that ISN'T from the community can understand what's happening before making a judgement on the community.

Everyone wonders why roleplay is going down the drain, and cops are not always 'roleplaying 100% of the time'. Rocking up to cops and just saying "Hands on your head or your dead" with no gun out in a city - clearly with the intent of getting him to disobey the dec really isnt going for roleplay.

It is definitely a correct dec, but does anyone really have to do things like that, especially when its such a volatile time? Is it really worth it, is it really worth degrading the community even more for one person to have a bit of fun?

 

It was simply a funny moment that someone wanted to share on the forums. The video was made before the cop wipe, it was a bit of fun they were having and I don't believe there was anything wrong with it at all. I think you need to stop making quick conclusions. Yes, this isn't the best roleplay but it didn't harm anyone or anything. I also don't think they were trying to get him to disobey the dec, they clearly weren't doing anything against the rules (i.e cop baiting) they were robbing him. Ever stop and think, "hey this is pretty funny"? Maybe instead of getting so antsy about one small thing like this the cop force should be taught that when there are 3 guys surrounding you and one of them dec on you, to maybe comply? It's a thing called VLR.

Yeah, very true. But what I was generally trying to say is that we were at a really active point (probably the most active we've been since I joined SP) and as soon as the cop force crashed it brought us down too. We were actively pulling in 15 members at a point everyday and now we're struggling to get 5 online, this is mainly due to the fact that the banks were disabled and we weren't having any fun playing due to the fact that it was just a walk in the park vs other rebel gangs (which are all struggling with the new cop changes also.)

This is 100% True, SP is dead at the moment because Fed and Westpac have been disabled. We have leaders and founders leaving to cop because Rebel is boring now, it's not fair on us to have to suffer for issues within the cop force. We've gone from being the most powerful and active gang on the server to being one of the emptiest and inactive. I mean, as I'm typing this I just learnt that Rhys has gone back to cop, the whole cop force falling apart has ruined the rebel side of the server completely.

Well if the KOS zone is confined to a small radius around the actual store there should never be a problem with snipers camping it, as you can't shoot out of a KOS zone in.
