Humaine 131 Report post Posted October 8, 2017 Did it... but only made it to 6am-ish... :( took this screenshot off my phone when i woke up that morning... I have to say that I really enjoyed playing that whole time. There are some great players and teams out there in the Straya I&A community, working together. The servers work really well and some of the AO's and Sides turned into some great moments during the game. I can also be blamed twice for TK-ing (Sorry "Craig", I killed when I rpg-ed a tank he was trying to put charges on, and another who I shot when I was using thermals.) but there was a lot of it, during that time. :( My advice if you're going to do this: Left-over Pizza and Pasta is great for quick meals. Coke and V is a must toward the end of the night Also a couple of packets of lollies are good for a sugar rush :) 15 minute breaks (during server restarts) are enough, but take a walk and stretch when you get the chance. Beer is always the answer to all questions... lol One thing I want to mention, which is something that has been discussed in this forum, is about whitelisting the pilot slots for trained members of the community. I wasn't a fan of that idea for many of the reasons that were talked about. But after seeing the Fu#k-wittery of some of the players during the 12 - 4am (AU) period, I could be convinced to agree with it. The wanton destruction of aircraft during that time... Wow! Many of the players couldn't believe it, and were forced to fly themselves, only to find damage to most of the vehicles. If they weren't crashing them, they would try and crash into other players as they took off. I know that having an admin on at that time of the night is impossible, but what if we had some kind of voting system that could be used to temp-ban players like this (depending on the numbers playing at the time)?
