If you wipe it the cops are gonna be the superpower of the server even more then they are now, cause they gonna make easy money camping shit that Rebs do yo try and make money, and there loadouts are half the price of rebels

As stated by Lotza, " If we were to go ahead with the wipe, you can also expect to see some changes to the balance of the server and economy. "

When this topic was brought up in the management chat we discussed the obvious need for some balancing changes, which is why Lotza mentioned it in his original post.

That I did not know... eh

It does take a bit to setup if you don't know what you are doing, and it only works with certain encoding, just a quick google and you should be able to find all the info about it. I used to use it instead of shadowplay.

Yeah but with OBS you have to manually start recording don’t you? It doesn’t have a feature like Shadowplay (where it’s constantly recording but deletes old shit after a few minutes).

Yes it does, it's called 'replay buffer'.

I've seen that thread, even posted on it. Which clearly you haven't read.

I also will repeat myself on this note, this has been worked on since November last year, these issues have been brought up a thousand times.

And my claims aren't baseless, certain members of higher management have repeatedly stated their refusal to deal with the judicial system for various reasons. I'm not trying to have a go at you lot, but some clarity in your announcements would be nice.

I appreciate the fact you've taken the time to respond, however, all this shows me is you've failed to actually read our previous suggestions (Since your entire post has already been covered in previous messages), or even take them on board.
As I've stated you have a group of interested members of your community that want to see the Judicial system be used, and have knowledge (Some cases experience) in working with a judicial system and how it should run, some of which are longtime Straya members.

EDIT: On a side note, there's no way you're going to be able to create a comprehensive list of laws for AL without it just being a 12 point list of broad and interpretable laws which will make the actual cases not only boring but difficult to come up to in the first place due to its structure. I implore you just stick with NSW legislation as we already have, and it's worked well.
You just need to restructure the hierarchy and redo the guidelines/expectations (Which documents and suggestions have been provided, as per my previous message)
There are members here that are happy to do it all for you (As they have shown in the past), even able to if AL management would push them in the right direction in terms of how management wants it to run.

I have taken the time to read each an every message in both threads, my previous post was not a suggestion or adding to the discussion, it was a statement. Nothing is happening with the judicial system until there are laws for players to follow.

Connor and I have both had discussions about laws on Altis from more than 6 months ago and it has been pushed to the side in favor of more core components to the server. Now that we have some free time and available resources we are able to work on this. So yes it was ignored, for a very good reason.

We are not going to use the NSW legislation as a drop-in for 'laws' that is a completely ridiculous proposition. There are hundreds of Acts and Regulations currently in force, and almost every single one of those has no relation to altis life in the slightest. Not to mention the fact that most people in the judicial system could not be bothered learning and reading all of them. We will need a relatively simple system that works for the playerbase we have, and is balanced appropriately with the existing factions and meta.

The system has been in "being reworked" for ages, if you check the time stamp on the docs I posted you'll see they're from November last year.
With a lot of AL/Higher management stating they don't want to even touch it.

This community has a few members who are quite versed in how a judicial system works and have openly expressed their desire to help, and the fact they are being ignored is rather concerning since no input is being taken on board.

Sounds like you should really read my comment on a similar thread before throwing accusations at the management team. Until there are a set of clean and concise laws for Altis Life there will be no touching the judicial system, as there will be nothing for the lawyers to cite during cases. This is not something to happen in a few days and will take some time to get a complete list with as little grey areas as possible.

Edit: To add on to this, i'll make sure the AL staff do look into bringing on players for the judicial system when the time comes.

Wasteland population has declined significantly especially since recent incidents and terrible performance due to numerous map additions. At this point it seems unlikely to regain its former popularity unless major changes were to take place. Would it be possible if WL sees no improvement, to be replaced with a Takistan life server?

I don't think Wasteland would be replaced with another life server.

Why dont you enlighten the community as to why i decided to leave as a staff member.

Lets see, You decided to close down the esports side of strayagaming without consulting beef about it, then blatantly lied to me and said you did in which beef later confirmed that you didnt speak to him about removing esports. You then displayed an image of slack in which wasnt the entire story in which was proven once spoken to beef about the situation that infact you only showed what you wanted me to see.

Funfact: You stated that the esports team in which i ran was you "Intelectual property" and the you stated if i did something wrong you would goto jail. Hmm meladramatic.

You threatened to sue me "You listen to me or i sue your ass". Fyi if someone is running a team under a name and you have not signed a written contract with them then your not legally obligable to be at fault if an issue occurs.

This is all coming from a guy that looks like " Peter Griffin " . Is this a guy everyone wants running a community that has no social skills but is quick to cover up anything that is put against him?

    Answer that Red.

I'm not sure about you leaving as a staff member, as I remember it you were not interested in working with myself for some reason. Refusal to communicate with me, and a down right terrible attitude towards other staff and members that you could not tower over lead myself and most of the management team to consider you not fit for staff. Which is exactly why you were pushed out of Altis Life staff, and onto another project that would have less impact on the community if anything were to go wrong. (Which it ended up doing).

There was some miscommunication between Beef and myself about the esports team, this came about from the complete lack of communication from those running it. There was nothing sent back to anyone in the management team except Beef, so no one else had any idea what was going on. Beef and I have talked about it a few times and identified what would need to be done differently, which is something that has improved with newer projects we are running. In the end you decided to take everything personally and attack me, I retaliated and closed you off. Probably not the best decision in hindsight, but i'll stick by it.

Also, insulting me is not really a good idea...

Any plans on getting monetization back?

I had a chat to Connor about it a fews days ago actually, we have handled just fine without it up until now so I was never really concerned with losing it. Now that they have extended the license period it might be time to have another chat with Bohemia about it.

Just about all the judicial government documents and stuff. Just wanting to talk to you as you are pretty much running straya. Trying to get the best outcome for everyone :)

You are probably best to speak with @Lotza and @Pezza about that, I would love to see the judicial government working... But correctly with proper laws, and guidelines for judges this time.

@Lotza That's a hint that you need to make the laws for Altis Life :)

Is there any chance of having a friendly chat you you, Mr. Red, about a few documents on Strayagaming?

You would need to elaborate on that, it's likely i'm not the best person to speak to regarding the documents.

The only reason that I have been told of is that they were blacklisted for "stealing" documents and "copying" protocols.

It becomes an issue when people are blacklisted without being spoken to (some even received blacklists when they're not involved) and these actions and many other actions have pushed players away from the server and this community. As for the poaching/stealing officers, I can't speak for everyone but a majority of them have left on their own accord without being pressured or offered any positions. The positions were only offered after they have joined the community.

What may be an issue is that players have allegedly been given ultimatums about choosing what community to play on, some even receiving threats of a blacklist or bans. Although there's no evidence and all this might be false claims, but this is still something that you should be investigating.

As I said, it's up to the cabinet and command team regarding blacklists, obviously for anything longer than 2 weeks they still need to approach APIA.

I've already spoken with some staff who were approached and promised high ranks for handing over documents and bringing themselves.

What are your thoughts on people being blacklisted on police for being apart of another Police Force/Life Community?

When it comes down to it, at the moment it's up to the command/cabinet team to decide on that. Obviously is the players are breaking the protocol or server rules they will be blacklisted.

I'm all for them blacklisting players that steal and poach officers.

  13. OK in regards to Franks server, Beef and I both had no issues and are willing to give advice if needed. No one is going to be banned or punished for simply going over there to work or play, we are fairly relaxed and keen to help other communities get going. Obviously staff members joining his community will be removed from staff due to a conflict of interest, but none of them will be banned.

However Frank started advertising his server and trying to poach members. He has since been community banned indefinitely, he will need to put a support request in so that I can have a chat with him about things before I remove the ban.
