The Altis Police Force is proud to bring to you today it's first edition of it's public news article, which we plan on posting once every two weeks. This Article will entail officer commendations, the best bust of the fortnight and other general news of the Altis Police Force. Officer Commendations: OZZY IN A TREE Boe Viper Sam I Am Bang1324 Moygstar Greg Congratulations to all Officers who have been commended, this has been noted by the command team. The Best Bust of the Fortnight It is true that yes this bust occurred quite a while ago, however with not many other bust forms being submitted we have decided that this is the best bust to be shown, good job to all officers involved! Officers Involved: [F02A] Martin, [B02W] Jay, [C05W] Sam I Am, [O05W] Farensik, [O04W] InsanD and Rct Delacey PLUS Pol Air; [K12W] Porter and [K11W] Bow Officer Bow's Report on the Bust: On 7/12/16 a house raid on [TF] The King in Melbourne was conducted. 3 TF members were killed and we faced no casualties during rebel engagement. Originally we had one TF in restrains but then was killed by another TF, moments later that man was killed. The third TF member fled into the house and eventually was captured and placed in restrains also but unfortunately committed suicide. The server population was over 60 with around 20 cops. We seized multiple AK12's, MK18's and Katiba's, a ridiculous amount of AMS and RCO scopes and quite a few rebel vests and ACP handguns. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This Concludes this fortnight's newsletter, thank you for reading and to all Officers that have contributed to the document. Also meaning not as many items will be littering the ground when people die; (i mean, most of us die at one point or a rather before we need to drink or eat) Water barrel/ Food sacks/ supply box Now that you no longer spawn with food & water, we thought it best to re-introduce these items back into the game Food sacks and water barrels have an inventory of between 30 to 60 x items, it can be loaded into a vehicle inventory like base parts and is a alternative for players needing to go and purchase food and water from a general store Diary Logs edited some logs Added rules changed top ten/ vets to server side (allowing either wasteland developer/ manager to make changes per restart) Tweaks to guns/ rockets/ charges/ mines Increased the Pricing for a mk200 and mx lmg's. Increased pricing for AT and AP rockets in an effort to control/ reduce rocket spam across map against infantry Increased price for select mines Central Straits Wasteland staff have pondered on the idea of having an area on the map that has access to all facilities. So, as of this update, central stratis is our test for this concept. DO NOT spawn a helicopter if there is already one on the heli pad. Comps related to this topic may not be accepted. Base Parts that are brought at the general store do not spawn outside the store, they spawn on a hillside with a massive white X on it. Hello there guys ! i am Nightwolfx. A 22 year old male that loves gaming! My main activities outside of gaming would be hanging out with friends, listening to youtube, or 3d model some wierd stuff haha I come from norway and live currently in the north of norway. however i was born in a small town called Kongsberg in the south but spendt most of my life in Bergen and Stavanger. I just finished my studies (so far) and im about to start working (again) but in the meantime i have a lot of sparetime and you will see me a lot on the servers :3 Personally i think i am a kind, friendly and fair person. As i belive in the golden rule "treat others the way you would like others to treat you" I love meeting new people and getting to know others, ive also been on the ts quite a bit and got to know some awesome people there :3 Mainly i am an RP person. but lately ive felt like i needed something fresh and new. so i found this game mode called I&A and thats where i found you (googling) I really enjoy the server and i will definitly be playing there a lot in the future (meaning later today, tomorrow and so on) My prefered roles in game is a sniper, spotter or a pilot. However if those slots are taken and/or i see theres another role that is extreamily needed i would go with the needs instead of what i want. I am also a Realsim guy and that brings a certain aspect of seriousness from my side into the game ^^ however im still able to fool around and have fun and i am also capable of taking a joke^^ I signed up here because i really liked the server that ive been playing on. and i wish to become a part of the comunity... maybe i'll even be able to contribute somehow to the server too in the future, who knows ^^ Sooo... there ya go... thatr was a little bout myself ^^

My heart goes out to you and anybody affected by his death. I lost two dogs due to old age early in my life and it hurt me bad. Those two dogs were literally my childhood, if you need to chat about it man, my door is always open for you or anybody that is having troubles.

Hi Lads, We've had some bans issued by the staff team recently that we don't wish to issue but it was a must. So I thought I would write something for all of the community, about the community and something for us all to dwell on. Your Community is a community built by you the Players / Staff and Developers. This is a place where you can join after having a big day at school or work or a place you can escape the world we live in. It is a place where you can become someone else. On this Community, I am LuckyB33f, Founder of Straya Gaming. But in real life I am Jason, The Handyman/Storeman/whateverelsemytitleis. This is the same as my Managers, Admins and Mods. We are here to become something else and not who we always are. Our private life is to stay private. As that isn't who we are on here. If you want to be a troll then that is fine but you'll find yourself out of the community faster and less enjoyable. We as a community must continue to grow as we grow more servers, We have plenty of options for the future, We will need more people able to help make new game servers who are dedicated. You all as a community will look back at this one day and say I helped build this community when it was only small. Right now we are the largest Arma3 community in Australia. We started as 5 players. Look at us now. I truly can say this has been one of the best experiences i have had in my life so far (the army was overrated). And we are just getting started lads. Cheers LuckyB33f

I've not been in this community for long, only a few months, so I thought I'd offer my thoughts as a fresh perspective. Also, since LuckyB33f did it, I'm a Mid-30's IT Manager called Travis so any military game is very far removed from my real life! StrayaGaming is in my opinion one of the most developed and welcoming Australian gaming communities I've been part of, even with the diverse range of ages in the community. While some may argue this point, in my experience the general level of maturity in SG players is higher than many other communities I've been in before. I see the staff in StrayaGaming giving more of a damn about the servers and community than I've seen in other communities I have been part of. I've regularly seen (I'm a semi-regular I&A Pilot/Medic/AT, sometimes Wasteland cannon fodder, and occasional Rust player) Mods and Admins educate and counsel new players on the rules in a way that is often quite polite and respectful. I've also seen the Mods and Admins be quite patient with players ignoring rules then enforcing the rules when needed. It's not all perfect obviously, as someone learning to play Rust I was saddened to see the server activity drop off rapidly at the end of the year. But overall this is a great community. But don't take my word for it, and don't take what you have for granted. Contribute, engage and support StrayaGaming.
