Player of the Week 3/1/2021 Your Player of the Week chosen by the I&A staff team is @YeomanMaple Congratulations. @YeomanMaple – Previously mentioned several weeks ago as an ISTAR powerhouse that provides not only the most pertinent information on high-risk enemy asset locations but also goes the extra mile to designate those targets and even then goes on to provide a fantastic Air Surveillance Operator service to the friendly fixed wing assets. Extremely effective in the CAS Jet providing support for advancing ground troops for those armoured targets. Has continued throughout the past two weeks and has been a very valuable asset who is more than happy to pass on help and assistance to nee players in the JTAC and UAV role. Outstanding job, YeomanMaple. Honourable Mentions: @Scandar - A frontline rifleman who has been noted to be right up the front leading the charge on CSAT. Plays his role well, always in the thick of it and is strategic in his approach to the targets, polite and gets the job done. Nice job Scandar. Sgt Boisen – Another good example of a player who knows the UAV and JTAC roles. Noted by a staff member have done a stellar job. Really good to see players taking these specialist roles and are not only capable but are willing and happy to pass on their knowledge and experience to new players who try these roles. Well done Sgt Boisen. Steve – Ironside player and has provided exceptional support to our advancing ground troops. Very effective in the role and plays right throughout the day. His kill ratio is impressive and he manages to evade the CSAT anti-tank guys pretty well. Definitely a thorn in their side. Great effort and glad to have you on our side. A great effort this past week and many more to come with a large influx of new players to the server. (@their name) Referral One: @Kristian Davis Referral Two: @andrew Induction Training Completed By (Must have been completed no more than 30 days ago): @Metallic Questionnaire: - Why do you want to join the Altis Police Department (100 words minimum)?: well I guess I enjoy role-playing and prefer the side of police as it seems more interesting than doing mission after mission on rebel, not saying that's not fun at times, but the policing side of thing interests me more, as it fits in with what I want to do in real life in a few years, I currently work security and work closely with the QPS, which I find very enjoyable and rewarding, and even though its a game i feel the role-playing aspect of it and the coms and terms used can only help me further, also the guys that are in the PD atm are a good bunch, more so than what i can say for some of the rebels out there, If you are successful; where do you see yourself in 3 months in the APD (50 words minimum)?: After talking with one of the detectives i was on patrol with last night, i think that would be a fun fit for me, it seems to be an interesting job with a lot of things that can be done if the server stays active, it is a hard choice between divisions though as all have their perks, I'm a very experienced chopper pilot as well so i was looking towards that side of things, but i think it would be detective that interests me most What do you believe you can bring to the Altis Police Department (50 words minimum)?: I feel i can bring a sense of professionalism to the force, well help add to it anyway, from what iv seen over the last few days its pretty good but can always be better, I'm a very loyal person to those that reciprocate that, and am good at following instructions and orders, Do you have any experience as a Police Officers from other servers?: SR constable (darkside b4 it was sold) Other than Police, what previous role play scenarios have you been a part of on Straya-Gaming?: Anix and invade, ratso can vouch for , me How much time can you dedicate to the Altis Police Department?: 3-6 hours a night, depending on work, i work Security so hours difer Have you ever been banned, kicked or watchlisted from Altis Life at any stage? I also think this could be a great opportunity to make some mates. I am loving being pub slot but it has it downsides sometimes like not being able to patrol by myself or not having any good weapons without a higher up giving it to me. I also would really like to help new white shirts when they join by doing inductions and such or patrolling with them and helping them with processing and other things. If you are successful; where do you see yourself in 3 months in the APD (50 words minimum)?: I see myself as a slightly high rank maybe SGT and helping new people like my self currently gain their full time enlistments by helping them with what to do in situations and doing inductions for them. I also would like to become POLAIR in the future as piloting in games as always interested me. What do you believe you can bring to the Altis Police Department (50 words minimum)?: A serious attitude but I also joke around when not doing police stuff, I am very welcoming to anyone and don't get angry at most things. It takes a bit to set me off but even if someone does piss me off to say I can control it. I have a lot of time on Arma half of it probably flying or pvp. I think I deserve a promotion because I'm ready for new challenges and new experience in the APD, I've met and worked with a lot of amazing people I've had some of my greatest moments on the server, as CO I've always put effort in my work I've pushed myself to the fullest extent and outside my comfort zone to help my fellow officers and the community. There's a lot of achievements I would like to work towards to help myself grow as a leader and an Officer of the APD, I am always willing to give any situation a 110% I have proven myself as a leader and as asset to the police force.
