    I wanted to write a message to thank all the staff on putting the amount of input, time and effort that was taken into the new staff structure and congratulate those promoted to new positions and taking on more responsibilities in our community. Thanks to all those who continue to put in their hard work and efforts day in and day out on our servers for our players. For those who didn't receive a promotion yet or haven't been put into a new role don't think we missed you! We have to fill all the roles and train all the staff in these roles so that they have the skills required to do these roles in the best way they can and be able to assist and help our community to grow even further. There will be plenty of opportunities for all our staff to continue to progress,learn and contribute in our community and to grow through our staff system.I wanted to make this a public message to thank all the staff past and present for all their efforts in helping make this community a great community to be apart of. I also wanted to write this to encourage more of our members who may feel they can contribute to the strayagaming staff because we would love to have you apart of our family.We are a ever growing community who really care about our players, staff and gaming servers. l also wanted to thank the community for supporting us like you have.Without our donators and supporters there would be no servers and we all wouldn't be here. So once again l wanted to say a big thanks on behalf of the staff of strayagaming to our community and l wanted to let you all know we have a lot more content and great things coming up in the near future. Also we will continue to provide you with even better service as we continue to move forward.Thanks all for taking the time to read this post.

    I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the straya gaming staff for all they have done for making this an awesome community without the generous support of the community and the leadership of J17 and other high rank staff members you guys know who you are but honestly our community would not be where it is today so thank you very much.     Please keep in mind this is a work in progress In the following post, I will outline the proposed locations and suggested setups for all of the road blocks for race day. As of server reset at 6 am on Thurs 26/10 - 78 cones have been placed with approx 17 barriers and two cruisers around Sydney - By the time reset rolled around i had not completed the test run so this number may grow. More pictures to come as they are processed. I was able to place all of these barriers on my own within an hour. With 8 police officers available we should be able to initiate all of these road blocks within 10 minutes. I am not sure how the server will cope with so many objects spawned in but that will be something to test during the roleplay night this Friday. Please note - there are 10 more stops to be tested. This will add an additional 20 cones (approx) to this total. Allocated spectator stands are still yet to be decided. Any suggestions are welcome. Please note pictures below Regards Brutal This road is not fully closed off, as this road will be used for the Rally finish line. This block may be modified if the Rally has already completed or has not yet begun.

    Hey guys, these are the locations of the road blocks that may be put in place during the Car race through Sydney / Kavala. All of these locations are currently unconfirmed so any suggestions or ideas would be welcome.

    I liked the MH-9 copilot seat, was kept accessible in understanding that the pilots can be shit/irresponsible (IE 4 pilots flying CAS). A lubricant to keep the mission flow during the rough times. Can't recall when it was changed but I'll look to see if it can be re-integrated. The entire system has been re-coded to improve your frame rates, should be published soon. I'll look to see whether there's enough flexibility to make some sort of allowance for the MH-9 seat without disrupting the pilot roleplay.

    I like the idea, and have elaborated on some search and rescue mission content myself. Unfortunately, by modern military terms, the I&A AO area is classed a high-threat environment, and rotary-wing CSAR are only allowed to operate alone in low-threat environments, require gunship and aviation fire support in medium threat environments, and are not allowed to operate in high-threat environments due to unreasonable risk to aircrew and airframes. To convert the AO to a medium-threat environment I think would anger some of the other soldiers on the server.

    To clarify, some live tests have been conducted on the server with new AO defend mission. Outcome highly positive. One moment of interest, was watching the AI successfully breach and clear an HQ compound with 20 players inside. However its not yet scripted in, theres some other stuff being worked on, about 50% AI related.

    Role play items are for Altis life really mas esp there are different textures being designed for wasteland, I&A and Altis Life.And l agree with ya there on that A Fitz.Good pilots who know what they are doing can follow directions very well on our on I&A server.We have some of the best arma 3 pilots l have seen on a lot of servers. This mainly comes from the experienced pilots who actually know what they are doing and what's required from them when taking on a vortex pilot slot.If your flying CAS then l feel its very obvious that your a pilot flying a jet who is required to help support the chopper pilots, infantry and amour from air/ground threats.The transport pilots jobs are to transport all the ground infantry to the AO's so they can start the ground attack on the csat ground forces. Sometimes ya see at the start of a server reset people rushing for a pilot slot who cant really fly to well because they haven't had much practice either in the editor or in game which is fine but sometimes this can frustrate other more experienced players esp those who know what they are doing.There also at time are pilots who logon to these slots are worry more about hunting for the easter eggs on the map than actually doing the role which is transport pilot which is what the vortex pilot slots are for.I can make skins for these roles but this wouldn't change the fact its a medics job to be healing players and not a pilots job to be taking the medics to heal players.I might make a skin that is a medic chopper skin and it may look really nice but really how many pilots are actually going to use that little bird or whichever chopper it is to take do these roles that you are speaking about mas if you know what l mean bud.Its kinda like medics l enjoy going a medic and wherever a player is down l will go to but for e.g when l go a recon marksman which is a role you are kinda talking about there are medics that wont run 250m to pick a player up or sometimes even a 100m.Wheres l would run where ever l have too 500m+.Really comes down to medic or pilot like fitz was saying about those that take dirrections or know what the role they are doing actually requires from them bud.

    Thund3R's Response Suggestion~Riot People involved~Civs,Police,Medics Time~40min-1hr+ Description: Civs make an announced protest either outside the Police HQ, or the market area. Police can be deployed to contain the area and be suited up by higher ups in protective gear, whilst the Police Supervises plan strategic moves and where to place units while working with the medics, civs will have smoke, Chem lights etc to throw at police Thund3R
